There is a great walking and biking trail close by. You are also within 15 minutes of great amenities and restaurants. We are dog friendly. We ask you to please pick up any doggy do.

No Parties. If you want to party, Do not book this property. We ask and require you to please respect the Neighbours and Environment. No Parties are permitted and No Noise Disturbances for the neighbors. The neighbors should not be able to hear you. Please no loud music, yelling, vulgar language, etc. This is at any time of day. There is zero tolerance as this is key for being good neighbors and for the bylaw.
Please note we have a NO PARTY POLICY. Music levels and noise needs to be kept to a reasonable level so as not to be heard by and as to not disturb the neighbors. We have to have a No Noise Neighbour Disturbance policy. It is a nice family area to enjoy.

The fall is fantastic.

Our guests comments that the home is larger than the pictures show - 2200 sq feet. The master bedroom is large with a King Bed and ensuite. The large Sunroom is great overlooking the water for relaxing with the views. It's great for Yoga. The family room and kitchen are open concepts. large outside deck for dining and seating area that overlooks the water. . The sunroom is also amazing for yoga looking into the water and or relaxing all year. A great weber grill also.

You can bask in the sun or sit under the shaded tree.
Beach access is at the back and or at the corner 3 houses down there is a beach entry point. Use at your own risk and with caution. Not supervised. Lake\ beach can change; Weather dependant. Should not use in storms, waves, etc.. See Niagararegion .ca for lake quality condition. Please note use of Beach stairs and beach with caution and at own risk. The lake and weather can affect the beach and this entry point. There is a Beach access at the corner of Macdonald at Bertie Bay road which is only three houses down with no stairs required.

The new heated pool just was built,
It will open from June 1st to September 30th. There’s an extra $35 each day for use the pool (it will be heated to 85 Fahrenheit degree) if needed.

There is loads of space behind the cottage to store your equipment and boat launches are nearby. Enjoy your morning coffee or play some cards on the large screened in porch with the soothing sight and sound of the waves.

Please note that although we offer amazing lake views, this cottage has a rocky shoreline and is not beachfront. It is amazing for fishing and you can anchor your boat just across the street, which is very convenient. TOTAL Maximum Occupancy is 8 guests with a maximum of 6 adults. Bay Beach passes are NOT provided with this home.

- We respectfully ask that you treat our home with respect and consider it as your home away from home and remain considerate of the neighbours always.
- Our cottage is in a residential area and local bylaws require quiet between the hours of 11pm to 8am
- The Renter whose name the reservation is made is responsible for the conduct of all those using or occupying the vacation property and/or its grounds throughout the duration of their stay.
- When you are not in the house and upon final departure, guests must close and lock all windows and doors. In addition, upon final departure, the Renter must ensure that all food and beverages are removed from the rental property including cabinets, refrigerators and freezers. Failure to remove these items may result in additional cleaning fees
- Renters are liable for all damages and/or loss to the rental property caused by them or as a result of their negligence or caused by or as a result of negligence by anyone permitted on the property during their stay.
- Smoking is not permitted inside
- Please note that absolutely no other items other than bathroom tissue are to be flushed down the toilet. ANYTHING other than bathroom tissue should be placed in the garbage. Any misuse could result in plumbing issues and service calls or repairs will be charged back to the client.

This is truly a beautiful, secluded summer cottage overlooking Lake Erie near Point Abino, Ontario. The house was built by the owner's family in 1952. To the left of the living room you'll find the dining area. Dining here is a lovely experience as you'll be able to gaze across the lawn and to the water through the walls of windows.

This property works great for two families. It sleeps 8 people in total (6 adults maximum) in the 3 bedrooms. This property has 1 bathroom with a claw foot tub/shower.

Bedroom 1 has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has two bunk beds. The perfect kids' room for sure. The third bedroom also has a queen bed.

And...that's not all. This cottage has a family room with a Smart TV, seating, and a foosball table. Games night it is!

I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you about the private beach for the properties along that stretch of beach which is managed by the area association....it is sandy beach with a gradual entry into the water. Lake Erie here is shallow for several metres which is nice if you just want to wad in a little without having it go over your head. Please note that the property is adjacent to the public access road. The public are allowed to use the beach directly in front of the road.

End your evenings with a fire right on the beach. Dig a hole, throw some logs down and you're good to go.

There is central air conditioning throughout. NOTE: one of the queen bedrooms and the bunk room does not have a vent for the air conditioning.

The private beach is for the properties along that stretch of beach which is managed by the area association. It is sandy beach with a gradual entry into the water for several meters. Please note that the property is adjacent to the public access road. The public are allowed to use the beach directly in front of the road.

End your evenings with a fire right on the beach. Dig a hole, throw some logs down and you're good to go. Memories....that's what you'll be making at Windpoint Cottage.

This home is best enjoyed by traveling families and we do not make considerations for large group of young adults. There are two exterior security cameras on the property. Once faces the front area of the property and one faces the driveway.

TOTAL Maximum Occupancy is 8 guests with a maximum of 6 adults. Please note this home cannot accommodate more than 8 guests due to Town of Fort Erie rules in the approved rental licence.

Note: Beach and water conditions on Lake Erie can vary significantly throughout the year, influenced by changing weather patterns. There is no guarantee that the conditions will be ideal for swimming during your stay.
Other things to note
Upon confirming your booking, you will be emailed a rental agreement for review and signature. Highlights of the agreement include:

- The Town of Fort Erie Bi-Law requires the owner or operator shall maintain a register that contains the name and address of the Renter(s) and the names of any other Person or Persons who occupy the Premises overnight
- We respectfully ask that you treat our home with respect and consider it as your home away from home and remain considerate of the neighbours always.
- Our cottage is in a residential area and local bylaws require quiet between the hours of 11pm to 8am.
- The Renter whose name the reservation is made is responsible for the conduct of all those using or occupying the vacation property and/or its grounds throughout the duration of their stay.
- When you are not in the house and upon final departure, guests must close and lock all windows and doors. In addition, upon final departure, the Renter must ensure that all food and beverages are removed from the rental property including cabinets, refrigerators and freezers. Failure to remove these items may result in additional cleaning fees
- Renters are liable for all damages and/or loss to the rental property caused by them or as a result of their negligence or caused by or as a result of negligence by anyone permitted on the property during their stay.
- Smoking is not permitted inside
- Small, outdoor fires are permitted in the provided fire pit area seasonally (May-October).
- The BBQ is available for your use seasonally (May-October) and runs on propane. Please do not move the BBQ to another location on the property and please always double check to make sure it is turned off after every use.
- Please note that absolutely no other items other than bathroom tissue are to be flushed down the toilet. ANYTHING other than bathroom tissue should be placed in the garbage. Any misuse could result in plumbing issues and service calls or repairs will be charged back to the client.

This original 1950s home still smells like the two-inch cedar planks that were put together with bare hands. From top to bottom you can feel the genuine love and care that has been put into this charming space as it invites you to get cozy and comfy by putting your feet up and maaaax relaaaaxing.

The Forest Room
Our favourite room in the house - it's best used when you're curled up with your favourite cup of coffee or reading a book under the twinkling lights. It's also a sweet napping space where you're indoors... but outdoors.... catch our drift?

The Sunny Room
Ahhhh sweet, sweet sun. This room gets its name for what exactly what it is. It's the perfect spot for catching rays and breaking records during your family game nights. Choose from the many we've got there for ya or get creative and make your own!

The Fire Room
This room encourages sentimental hangs whether you're telling stories fireside or indulging in the homemade meal at the dining table. You're bound to make memories within these four walls.

The Snoozy Rooms
Zzzz... oh, sorry! Didn't see ya there! I was snoooozin' ;) All linens are provided for you for that “I always sleep better in someone else’s bed” type of feel.

The Cooking Room
The fully stocked kitchen has all your basic essentials like pots & pans, salt & pepper, toaster, microwave, coffee maker - and if you feel like giving the kids a break one night there's a handy dandy dishwasher too ;)

The Shower Room
Welp. Guess ya know what happens in here! Soak it all in while we provide the TP, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Just don't forget to bring your own towel! #keepitfamilyfriendly

- "We loved this property!! It was so cozy, adorably furnished, and in a perfect location. We wanted something secluded enough to be quiet at night and be able to see the stars, but close enough to grocery stores and anything else we would need during our stay. We did some sight-seeing nearby, and this was a great spot to come back to at the end of long days of sight-seeing. We said “I want to live here” so many times during our stay! The queen-size bed was soooo comfy, and being able to see the nature surrounding the cottage even from inside was amazing. Amanda was very prompt when we reached out to her shortly after we arrived, and the communication leading up to our trip was great as well! The only thing we weren’t crazy about was having to take our trash with us when we left. Not really a huge deal, but the recommended dump was about 20 minutes out of our way so that set us back a bit on our departure day. Other than that, so so cute and wonderful, and we will definitely try to make it back sometime soon!"

This historic waterfront property dates to pre-1800. Restored by the architect owners, it offers a unique and charming setting for a small family compound, artist retreat, or a gathering of friends.

This property is comprised of two sections:

The Main has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4) with sunrise views over the lake. It includes 1 ½ baths, a new kitchen, and a spacious "Great Room" with a high open ceiling and a large fireplace.

The Atelier section has a loft and a convertible couch (sleeps 4). This space is ideal as it features a kitchenette, bathroom, and just enough privacy from The Main.

There is a lovely chapel on the property and another building to admire. Neither of these buildings are open or available for guest use though.

This property has a rich history, with buildings dating back to pre-1800. It was once billeted by British Army officers during the War of 1812. The Kimble Estate, part of the property, was owned by Dr. Charles Stockton, a UB professor who attended to President McKinley after his assassination in 1901. Anna Kimble, an arts lover, built The Studio in the 1930s for arts events and performances. The property is the actual setting of a play by Pulitzer-nominated playwright A. R. Gurney.

Just 4 miles from the Peace Bridge this 2 story carriage house is situated on a beachfront summer estate on Crescent Beach. An open floor plan on the first floor with a rear deck for outdoor dining. The kitchen is equipped with all you needs to cook up your favorite meals. The BBQ/Grill area is also a great place to hang out. There is a shared 1st floor laundry area with 2 stackable front load washer/ dryers, Second floor bedrooms with a queen size bed and a single daybed in one and a twin bed and trundle day bed in the other. The full tub/ shower Bathroom is located on the second floor. The private beach is steps away. The light powdery sand and shallow water make for perfect swimming . The Estate consists of a total of 4 rental units housed in both the main house and the carriage house. The one bedroom cottage is situated in a carriage house that also houses a three bedroom unit . These are side by side with separate entrances. There are two shared gas grills located In a covered gazebo. The estate has plenty of green space for greenspace for frisbee, bocce, soccer, etc.. There are 2 decks on the sand dunes that are available for our guests .This is a quiet beach that is perfect for water sports, fishing and sunset walks. Bonfires allowed at the beach only at designated spot. We are also just minutes away from the friendship trail bike path which extends from Point Abino to Niagara Falls, Ontario.

- "Beautiful strip of beach on Waverly Beach. Son had lots of room to run around and have fun. House needs some work, fridge wasn't working, had a lot of problems with the wifi. Overall good experience."

This is a rustic cottage that sits behind the main cottage on the lake.
It has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a sitting room plus a screened in porch.
The private beach is about 100 yards from your front door with your own personal sitting area on the lake.
We prefer families and its set up for this.
Guests spend most of their time swimming in the lake.
We are 10 min drive to Crystal Beach or Ridgeway and 10 min to the peace bridge or downtown fort erie.
The bike path is 1 block away.
Windmill quarry is also 1 block away.
