Amazing and beautiful yurt right next to the Niagara River in a charming town. The home was built only in 2015 with love and care, personally designed by the owner-builder. There is nothing like this home in the area! If the beautiful wood ceiling won't amaze you then the gorgeous details will. Sleep on a comfortable queen size bed with extra space for one more on a large and comfy couch if needed. Stay in a gorgeous place for the famous Gateway Harbor seasonand Canal Fest!

This is a yurt on a large corner lot. The water view can be seen right from the front windows and is 2 min walk away, if that. There is a large semi-circle driveway shared with another unit (homes are completely separate). You can easily fit two cars here. There is no overnight street parking November to April.

Please note that the TV is a streaming Roku TV with access to 1,000 free live TV domestic and international channels (Buffalo WGRZ is available) as well as any streaming channels you subscribe to (Netflix, Hulu, Disney, etc.). This is not cable television.

A starter pack of shampoo/conditioner and a small bar of soap is provided for your convenience. Please be sure to bring your own preferred toiletries should you need more than 2 days worth.

As part of our commitment to providing a welcoming experience and aesthetic, we occasionally update the home’s interiors with added touches of design and comfort. While furnishings, wall colors, and decorative details may vary slightly from the photos, each element is thoughtfully selected to include organic greens, soft coffee tones, and natural wood accents. To ensure the highest standard of cleanliness and sophistication, all bed linens are kept in pristine white.

Home is thoroughly first cleaned with a disinfectant solution of bleach and water where possible (commercial grade cleaner elsewhere). Commonly used areas like light switches, handles, door locks, toilets, showers, remotes, etc. are then additionally sanitized with steam. Linens are washed with commercial grade detergent with hot water and mechanically dried on high heat.

There is audible live music from a nearby restaurant starting approximately in May through September. They play at various hours (not all day and not everyday) but the restaurant's operating hours are approximately 11 AM to 8:30 PM, 7 days a week. They have great ice cream!

Walking distance to Village amenities (restaurants/bars/coffee shops) and minutes from Highmark Stadium (home of the Bills)! 15 minutes to downtown Buffalo, 20 minutes to Buffalo Niagara International Airport, and 40 minutes to Niagara Falls.

The home has two bedrooms with queen beds, full length mirrors, a dresser, and closet space. The bedrooms each contain a keypad safe. Bedrooms and living room have AC units to keep you cool! The home also has a first floor laundry and an office space/third bedroom with a desk and additional twin bed. There is a ramp to the front door for added accessibility and a large, private backyard.

The cottage is located on a 95-acre farm with forest hogs (May-Oct) and poultry. Enjoy city views, forest trails, fields, a pond (fishing ok, no swimming), gardens & a communal stone patio. The cottage is private with its own driveway, yet the property is shared with 2 other units. You may also see the 4 owners around the farm - come say hi!

The space
The entire house is completely yours for the booking. The cottage is equipt like any house, with a kitchen (fridge/freezer, oven/range, dishwasher), laundry, living room with wood burning stove, 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. Please note, our electricity cannot accommodate a microwave. Central A/C for the summers and forced air heat for the winter. Two patios flank the house, which provide an outdoor eating area with city views in the back or a relaxing sitting area with field and pond views in the front. The cottage also features an outdoor fire pit.
Guest access
Feel free to explore our 95-acre property, including gardens, pond and an access road through the forest. There is also a stone garden - perfect for outdoor dinners! We have chickens and others - Please be mindful of their electric fence and do not touch! Please be respectful of our other guest/tenant's privacy.

Because we have 2 other units on our property, you may see other people, yet the cottage allows for much privacy due to its unique location on the farm and private driveway. Feel free to explore our property, including a visit to our animals and forest trails.
Other things to note
Please note, high wind and/or snow storms do occasionally happen, especially in the colder months. These may cause power outages from time to time. Typically, power is restored in a few hours, as the power company prepares well for storms in the area. If power is not restored by nightfall, your night will be refunded.

We are putting away funds in our piggy bank for a generator and apologize in advance if this does happen during your stay. Generally, power outages occur about 3-5 times per year and rarely overnight.

We have a monthly pest contract, however, since we are on the farm we sometimes have unwanted guests. Please feel free to reach out during your stay if you have any concerns and I will do my best to make your stay comfortable.

This a new fully-furnished studio apartment above a garage. It is spacious and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated. The place has new furniture, it's vibrantly colored, and is located in a peaceful neighborhood. We are also near some of Buffalo's best food spots and it's fun activities. Be sure to enjoy a walk at Delaware park in the summer and indulge in some ice-skating at Canalside in the winter, all less than 10 minutes away!

2 bedroom 1 bath cottage in nice neighborhood in Orchard Park. Cottage is the closest house there is to New Era Field and the place had an entire Buffalo bills theme from the outside paint job to the inside decor. It is an old cottage being slowly renovated and updated as we go. Update: The bathroom and the floors have been newly renovated. The entire area of the property that is rented has been entirely renovated within the past 4 years to current.

You will also have access to a shared tailgate area in the back yard of the house and will be surrounded by many tailgaiters. Amazing & beautiful yurt right next to the Niagara River in a charming town. The yurt was built only in 2015 w/ love & care, personally designed by the owner-builder. There is nothing like this yurt in the area! If the beautiful wood ceiling won't amaze you then the gorgeous details will. Sleep on a comfortable queen size bed with scent free cotton sheets & an extra space for one more on a large & comfy couch if needed. Stay in a gorgeous yurt for the famous Gateway Harbor season & Canal Fest!

The space
This is a yurt on a large corner lot. The home is about 600 square feet in total (for reference, a hotel room is about 300 sqft). The water view can be seen right from the front windows and is 2 min walk away, if that. There is a large semi-circle driveway shared with another unit (completely separate). You can easily fit two cars here. There is no overnight street parking November to April (park in the driveway at nighttime). There is an outdoor 24/7 recorded video and audio surveillance on property directly from the external front door and adjacent property (Unit B's external front door).

Other things to note
Please note that the TV is a streaming Roku TV with access to 1,000 free live TV domestic and international channels (Buffalo WGRZ is available) as well as any streaming channels you subscribe to (Netflix, Hulu, Disney, etc.). This is not cable television.

A starter pack of shampoo/conditioner and a small bar of soap is provided for your convenience. Please be sure to bring your own preferred toiletries should you need more than 2 days worth.

As part of our commitment to providing a welcoming experience and aesthetic, we occasionally update the home’s interiors with added touches of design and comfort. While furnishings, wall colors, and decorative details may vary slightly from the photos, each element is thoughtfully selected to include organic greens, soft coffee tones, and natural wood accents. Home is thoroughly first cleaned with a disinfectant solution of bleach and water where possible (commercial grade cleaner elsewhere). The "beach area" pictured above is not always exposed due to high lake levels. Our property has plenty of lawn with a fire pit / chairs, beautiful blooms in the spring/summer, a BBQ grill, and a front porch with table and chairs for your morning coffee or "happy hour". We look forward to welcoming you!
