- "Property was exactly as advertised. Clean, nicely updated, convenient, ample parking. Will definitely book again !" - "In my old neighborhood. The property was clean, easy to access and up-to-date." - "The property itself is an older home divided into several rentals, most of which seem to be long term. The neighbors were quiet and cordial when we saw them. The space itself is pretty accurately portrayed in the pictures; however, the only difference is it feels bigger than the photos would indicate. The home has a central heating unit which puts off some strong heat (a bonus because some of our early April nights were chilly) and we learned window AC units were to be installed after we left (though we didn’t need them while there). The kitchen was well appointed with some consumables (there were plenty of pots and pans for cooking, more than enough utensils and plates, and even some basic pantry items provided). There was a Keurig with pods for use. The living room had what I assume was a pullout bed (we didn’t need it) but when in couch mode it was so comfortable that you wouldn’t even know it was a transforming couch like with other similar models. The bathroom was spacious and had clean, good towels as well as Q-tips, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for use. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Multiple pillows of various type were available for use. I’m really nit picky sometimes, but I don’t have any serious issues with the property. Minor suggestions to better the space include: 1. Small table under living room tv at entry door for keys/stuff 2. Better extension cord management Overall those are minor things, and I’d recommend this rental regardless!"

Ours is a big comfy former farmhouse with historical designation in the town of Williamsville, NY. We have a barn, a large flower garden, and loads of parking, all in a village setting. I live in this house with my youngest child (out of 9!). Two large comfortable rooms are set aside on the second floor for guests, so stair climbing is necessary. Each has a queen bed, desk and ample seating. I can put a twin mattress in one room if needed. Two full baths are shared with my family.

The space
Our house was built around 1905. We have an old horse barn out back (but no horses), and hitching posts out front. In the backyard is an old well with a pump that ran off a hit-and-miss engine to transport water to a holding tank in the barn. We have historical designation through the town of Amherst, as a typical vernacular farmhouse.

Guest access
There is a coffee bar in the kitchen for your use. There is always extra room in the fridge if you need it, and a microwave to warm things up in, but please, no serious cooking. Relax in our family and living rooms, read our books, and play the piano. There are multiple chairs outside in the garden. We have a tv downstairs with dvd player, but no regular tv service.

We would love to get to know you, but we'll give you plenty of privacy, too.
