Due to Town of Fort Erie licencing occupancy is limited to 8 guests (maximum 6 adults). Preference for weekly bookings with be given to Sunday to Sunday bookings.

LOCATION: This updated cozy bungalow is just steps away from the entrance Crystal Beach. Likely one of the closet cottages to the beach without being on it. The open concept space and high ceilings make the home feel very inviting. With everything updated it is very clean and comfortable. The gas fireplace is great for cool evenings after a day at the beach. A fenced backyard and a fire pit provide great outdoor space for your family.

Our place is just 300 meters from the Bay Beach entrance and walking distance to many amenities including restaurants and shops. A cozy renovated 2 bedroom home with lots of space and AC. A gas fireplace in the living area is perfect for those cool evenings. The fenced yard provides a nice spot for outdoor dining or campfires in the evening.

This open concept style home offers all of the amenities from home including a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, central air, unlimited Wifi, cable television and propane BBQ. We sleep up to 6 guests (maximum 4 adults).

It has two fully equipped kitchens with professional grade appliances and well-appointed island seating.
There are 6 bedrooms in total, 2 of them with walk-out balconies overlooking the beach, two of them have soaring 10 foot ceilings, and the other two are facing the main entrance which is Erie Road.
There are two main living areas. A large great room on the main floor with 10' coffered ceilings, that houses a gas fireplace with a walk-out beachfront deck. Adjoining the great room is an intimate dining area with cozy banquette seating, overshadowed by a shimmering crystal chandelier.
The lower level family room has additional seating alongside the fireplace with matching daybeds that double as oversize twin beds. As well as a sofa that folds down into an additional double bed for guests.
There is plenty of space for 20 guests such as a large family, two families or a group of friends enjoying a beach getaway.

There are two outdoor patios that offer plenty of seating for outdoor dining and relaxing. Each deck is equipped with a gas barbeque for your use. The main deck also has a direct gas fire table for use on those chilly evenings.
With stairs down to the private beach this is a perfect vacation spot to relax in the sun and swim in the beautiful lake that has a very shallow walk out which is great for kids. It is located on the main strip of Crystal Beach and a short walk to the local restaurants, ice cream parlours, and boutique shops.

This is also a phenomenal location for paddle boarding and kayaking. There is a lot of space on the north side of the home to store your equipment and boat launches are nearby. We have private buoys for your use as well.

Cycling and hiking is also very popular as the Friendship Trail is nearby.

This home is best enjoyed by traveling families, or groups of friends looking for a wellness getaway. We do not make considerations for large groups of young adults. Please note that there are two sets of stairs and a baby gate is available upon request. We do not allow pets at this home.

We had an infant, 2, 4 and 5 year old. This place is so worth it. Travelling with kids is not easy but this property has everything you need, just bring your own towels as the listing mentioned. From kitchen appliances, 2 coffee makers (one Nespresso !!), garbage bags, cleaning supplies, toilet paper!!, dishes, cutlery, etc to a bug zapper machine, good quality sun umbrella, wagon and beach chairs…you really just need clothes, food if cooking and towels. The community is great. 2 min walk to the private beach, 3 min walk to the pool and playground and the strip has some nice restaurants to either dine in or Order out if you need a break from cooking. Two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other a queen bed.
There is also a futon couch in the living room.

The main space has a TV, dining table and nice kitchen stocked with all of the essentials.

Nothing is shared other than the parking spots and the stairs leading up to the property

All guests have to be wary of my property lines! Guests should not walk past the stairs at the bottom of my cottage as that is my neighbours property. Please stay on my side!

Upon confirming your booking, you will be emailed a rental agreement for review and signature. Highlights of the agreement include:
- The Town of Fort Erie Bi-Law requires the owner or operator shall maintain a register that contains the name and address of the Renter(s) and the names of any other Person or Persons who occupy the Premises overnight
- We respectfully ask that you treat our home with respect and consider it as your home away from home and remain considerate of the neighbours always.
- Our cottage is in a residential area and local bylaws require quiet between the hours of 11pm to 8am.
- The Renter whose name the reservation is made is responsible for the conduct of all those using or occupying the vacation property and/or its grounds throughout the duration of their stay.
- When you are not in the house and upon final departure, guests must close and lock all windows and doors. In addition, upon final departure, the Renter must ensure that all food and beverages are removed from the rental property including cabinets, refrigerators and freezers. Failure to remove these items may result in additional cleaning fees
- Renters are liable for all damages and/or loss to the rental property caused by them or as a result of their negligence or caused by or as a result of negligence by anyone permitted on the property during their stay.
- Smoking is not permitted inside
- Small, outdoor fires are permitted in the provided fire pit area.
- The BBQ is available for your use and runs on natural gas. Please do not move the BBQ to another location on the property and please always double check to make sure it is turned off after every use.

We have plenty of parking on site. When you want to explore the small town it’s an easy walk (200 meters to the beach, seconds to shops and restaurants) but if you want to get out for some additional shopping you’re 5 minutes away to quaint downtown Ridgeway!! Wine tours or some of the regions finest cuisine, you’re 30 minutes away. 15 minutes to the Peace Bridge into Buffalo for sporting and theatre events.

You bring your bathing suit and we supply the rest. We have a full kitchen, BBQ, hot tub and tons of games to keep you entertained! We also have everything you might need to hit the beach: coolers, wagons, towels, chairs, umbrellas... if we haven’t thought of it just let us know!!

Just one note…. If you wish to use the hot tub please message us, that way we can ensure it’s ready for your arrival!

- "Beautiful beach house! The pictures and from the outside, don't show the scale and openness of the layout. So convenient that they have beach stuff provided so you don't have to bring as much. If you like the reclining Tommy Bahama style beach chairs, I would still bring those as these are a basic fold-out beach chair. They have a few baby and kids, toys and some games, which on a cloudy afternoon, came in handy. The pillows are very firm so you might want to bring your own. Love that it's dog friendly. Definitely will return!"

The house has free parking in the front on the crushed red brick driveway, enough room for 2 mid size cars. What I like most about the cottage is that it is a great place to sit back and relax with friends and family!

Our quiet character filled neighbourhood is only a few short minutes walk to the beach and all of the shops and services of Crystal Beach, but just far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the cottage. Relax on your porch, or in your private backyard or take one of the cottage bicycles out to explore the neighbourhood, the Friendship cycling trail or the quaint town of Ridgeway.

When first exploring your two story home you will be surprised by the light and the spacious accommodation. High ceilings, large rooms and windows everywhere. The main floor features a living area with a stone gas fireplace and beautiful original wooden floors with a separate dining area. Lots of room to spread out, relax, chat or play board games. The kitchen is bright and a joy to work in. Three bedrooms, each with its own unique style, gives everyone their own special place. The main floor bedroom is conveniently located steps from a full bathroom with shower. Upstairs, the "Muskoka room" and the open concept master bedroom share the second story with another spacious living/entertainment area and a surprisingly large four piece bathroom featuring a separate shower and large jacuzzi tub. There is also a separate laundry room with a front loading washer and gas dryer.

The house is shaded by two majestic maple trees, one at the front and one at the back. These serve, along with cross breezes through every room, to keep the house cool and comfortable on the hottest of Summer days. Portable airconditioners are there to help if a real heat wave sets in. The fully fenced back yard features a very private patio with a dining area, a pergola with outdoor bar, a cozy fire table and a large BBQ. The wraparound front porch is another favourite place where one, or all, can sit, dine, chat or just watch the world go by.

We love our time at Bay Beach Hideaway and want to make sure you will as well. One of the charms of our neighbourhood is the healthy mix of permanent residents and vacationers. OTHER THINGS TO DO CLOSE TO CRYSTAL BEACH

Cycle the Friendship Trail connecting Port Colborne and Fort Erie and passing right through Crystal Beach. For the more adventurous this trail is part of the Greater Niagara Circle route which boasts over 140km of 90% paved, car free cycling path!

Visit Port Colborne, only 15 to 20 minutes west on highway 3. Many interesting shops and restaurants downtown and along the Welland canal which goes right through the town. Port Colborne is also home of the Showboat Festival Theatre at the Roselawn Centre and the amazing Flying Squirrel restaurant!

Our place is just 300 meters from the Bay Beach entrance and walking distance to many amenities including restaurants and shops. A cozy renovated 2 bedroom home with lots of space and AC. A gas fireplace in the living area is perfect for those cool evenings. The fenced yard provides a nice spot for outdoor dining or campfires in the evening.

This open concept style home offers all of the amenities from home including a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, central air, unlimited Wifi, smart television (must log onto your own TV apps) and propane BBQ.

Bed layout is as follows:

Our newly renovated waterfront cottage offers three bedrooms, 1.5 baths and sleeping for up to 8 people. Lovely views of Lake Erie and the Crystal Beach Waterfront Park and Boat Launch from the large deck make this an amazing vacation spot.

Everything you need is provided including dinnerware, cookware, linens and towels, propane BBQ, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer. Complimentary WiFi is available and we have a nice, warm electric fireplace for cooler nights in the fall or winter. We have a small bonfire pit for marshmallows, board games, dice and cards, and parking for 4-5 cars or enough space to bring your truck and boat trailer.

Crystal Beach Waterfront Park is two doors down with children’s playground, live concerts in summertime, a well maintained boat launch and new beach area. Walk another 10 minutes to the main public beach entrance for a day of fun in the sun.

We are bungalow style living all on one floor and bedroom layouts are as follows:

Bedroom 2 – double and twin (sleeps 3)
Bedroom 3 – queen and twin (sleeps 3)

We are ideally suited to couples and families with older children as our home isn’t child friendly.

The space
This open concept beach house has been a labour of love for my husband and I (okay admittedly, maybe more me - and my parents - who are close by). We absolutely love it. We enjoy using the property as well (and really like our neighbours). This is not a full time/full year rental - unless you are looking to rent from any time in September through to June (which I would be more than happy to discuss).

We are interested only in excellent renters who will treat our property (and neighbours) with care & respect. Historically, we were happy to provide many amenities for our guests - unlimited toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, coffee, sugar, oils etc. Unfortunately, since some of our guests have taken the liberty of going home with them, we have decided to limit these to what is only necessary. We also provide an abundance to towels. We would ask that you re-use towels and blankets in an effort to be good environmental stewards.

It is an awesome place and we hope you will love it as much as we do!

- Renters are liable for all damages and/or loss to the rental property caused by them or as a result of their negligence or caused by or as a result of negligence by anyone permitted on the property during their stay.
- Smoking is not permitted inside
- Small, outdoor fires are permitted in the provided fire pit area.
- The BBQ is available for your use seasonally (May-October) and runs on propane. Please do not move the BBQ to another location on the property and please always double check to make sure it is turned off after every use.
- Please note that absolutely no other items other than bathroom tissue are to be flushed down the toilet. ANYTHING other than bathroom tissue should be placed in the garbage. Any misuse could result in plumbing issues and service calls or repairs will be charged back to the client.
