We were a group of friends from London Ontario looking to escape the city for a week and started the search for a cottage and stumbled across this beautiful piece of heaven… it absolutely exceeded our expectations. There was more then enough space and comfort for the four of us. Lots of comfortable bedrooms and places to just hang out and relax. The views from the upper deck are spectacular and the dock on the lower portion of the property felt like we were on a tropical island. The dock is also very stable and doesn’t move around with the changing water levels… i know that may not seem like a big deal but it made hanging out on the dock very relaxing. I’ve never had such a wonderful nap. The cottage itself was absolutely perfect! Lots of parking and lots of room to turn a truck around. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Right down to cooking utensils and everything you need to have fun on the water. The property manager was so helpful and very good an communication. I can go on forever and ever about how perfect our stay was but I’ll keep it moderately short and sweet. Fenelon Falls is a beautiful little town. It is home to lock 34 on the Trent-Severn Waterway between Sturgeon Lake and Cameron Lake.

There are many great restaurants, pubs, shops, a grocery store, Friday farmer’s market and a beautiful waterfront park. All this is within walking distance of The Kabins by the falls.

Getting Around:
We offer 1 parking space per booking. If driving around town isn’t your thing, the ATV trails are 1KM away as well there are boat slip rentals directly across the street.

Other Things to Note:
The activities are endless at "the Kabins by the Falls" with a patio bar across the road, marina directly next door and walking/atv/snowmobile trails very close by.

The loft area is accessed by a ladder. You must be comfortable climbing a ladder to access the sleeping area

Directly next to us is Fenelon Falls Marina where you can rent boats and PWC. We encourage you to book rentals early (min 1 month prior to stay). Directly across the street there is “That Place on Cameron” restaurant and patio.

Only a few hundred meters away is the rail trail for ATV's and snowmobiling.

Guest Access:
“Dorado” is on site of the Kabins by the falls. The grounds are a relaxing cottage resort setting. This house is off on it's own and more secluded from the rest of the property.
