The space
This cottage is tucked away on a laneway at the end of beach road. This Privately owned cottage is a five minute walk to Sherkston resort. There are many other quiet beach locations in the area. The friendship trail and roads in this area are amazing for bike riding. The property is over a half acre and you will love to peaceful setting.

Best way to get around this area is by bike. It is possible to drive but parking at most locations is expensive and limited.

I personally loved the location being a minute walk to Wyldewood Beach and having some greener behind the cottage. Sherkston Shores requires a $15 per person renter's fee for the duration of your stay. A wristband is issued at the gate. Kids under 6 are free. This charge also provides guests with access to the Funplex and is not included in the rental price. Sherkston shores only allows 8 renters per cottage to be registered per booking. All renters must be above the age of 25 unless renting as a family.

Come and enjoy the famous Sherkston Shores and create great memories from water slides, splashpads and the arcade for the kids to heated pools, hot tubs and nightly live shows for the adults. This cottage comfortably sleeps 8, with the second bedroom having single bunk beds on one end and a single bed; perfect room for kids or guests! There is also a pull out sofa in the living room.
The kitchen has counter space for prep work, a dining table, and opens up to the living room…a comfortable space to enjoy!

The space
When evening arrives, enjoy our propane bbq and outdoor dining area, after dinner head to our backyard fire pit for a camp fire or to roast marshmallows. In the event of rain, relax under our roof covered deck with a coffee, tea or wine while you surf the private high speed internet or indulge in your favourite tv show.

This cottage is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom space.
The primary bedroom has a queen size bed, second bedroom has a bunk-bed with 2 double beds and a pull-out couch that will sleep 2.

We suggest you arrive at the resort early, and start using the resort before check-in and stay after check-out and continue to use the resort before closing.

Most areas of the 560 acre resort are within 5 to 30 minutes.

SPEED LIMIT

GOLF CART

- All drivers must possess a valid drivers licence and be 25 years or older
- Follow all posted speed limits and one way signs
- No one may stand in the golf cart while it is being driven
- No driving with a child in your lap
- 4 people are allowed in the golf cart while it is being driven (you can rent an additional golf cart)
- Do not use the golf cart on soft sand. If you get stuck, towing charges will be your responsibility
- If you get stuck in the sand please do not over rev the engine and burn out the engine or you will be charged for the repair
- Go carefully and slowly over speed bumps to prevent damage to the suspension
- Please remember to plug in the golf cart charger every night. If you run out of charge and must be towed, the cost for towing will be your responsibility.
PARKING
- The resort allows 2 vehicles per cottage. Overflow parking is available all over the resort.
NEIGHBOURS
- Many of our immediate neighbours don't rent out their places and we would like to preserve our good relations with them as many live in their places full time during the summer and look out for our place. If you have a problem you can ask them for help. Neighbours may check into our place for us. If you have a problem and contact us it may be likely we will be calling them.
PETS
- Pets are only allowed in our unit by prior request and will be indicated in your cottage rental agreement.
- Your pet must be well behaved. Please clean up after your pet.
- Our property does not have perimeter fences so pets must be leashed when outside
COTTAGE USE & CLEANLINESS
- Close and lock all windows and doors when you leave the cottage
- Keep the key safe, a charge will be applied for lost keys
- No candles or open flame use inside the cottage
- No outdoor shoes inside the cottage please
- Please try to keep sand from entering our unit by using the water hose to wash your feet
- Leave the cottage in the same condition as when you arrived
- Tidy up before checkout, return all furniture to the original location
- Before checkout take all garbage to the resort bins
- Please use the wet/dry vacuum cleaner, brooms and sweeper mop in the cottage
- Any damage will be charged back to you

- If you use the BBQ, please clean it after your use

- Check out time is 10am - no exceptions due to the time it takes for our professional cleaner to do Covid deep cleaning

There will be a one-time administration fee, per person, per reservation of $15 plus tax charged at the time of registration. This fee only applies to renters age 6 and up. (This fee will be added to your balance due at the time noted in your contract)
No visitors permitted.
Individual renters must be over the age of 25. This means if the renters are not a family travelling with their children, every person on the reservation must be over 25. We reserve the right to refuse entry to guests if this condition is not met.
There is a limit of two (2) vehicles per rental, per site. Any additional vehicles will be denied entry
Maximum occupancy: The maximum occupancy per reservation is 6 people including children of all ages.

Renter Access & Wristbands

Upon arrival to the Main Gate, your renters should give their last name and specifically state that they are the renters of your site number.
Once their registration has been confirmed, they will be given a welcome package with resort information as well as one wristband per person (aged 6 and up) listed on the registration. If they arrive with more people than what is listed on the registration, they will be denied access. Resort registration is $15 plus HST for anyone aged 6 years and older.

These wristbands identify your guests as registered renters with permission to access the resort.

Due to Sherkston regulations, all renters must be either 25 years of age and older or of a family nature.

Renters with the golf cart must abide by the following rules as governed by Sherkston Shores Resort:

1. All golf cart operators must have attained the age of 25 (twenty-five) -OR- have a valid Class G drivers licence. Birth certificates are NOT acceptable. Any persons found driving under the age of 25 (twenty- five) or without a valid Class G driver’s licence will be fined (see Schedule (B) -Schedule of Fines). Repeat offenders will be issued a trespass notice, preventing entrance to the resort for a minimum of one year as well as the removal of the golf cart from the owners property.

2. Golf carts are classed as a Motor Vehicle under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act (a copy of the Act is available in the Welcome Centre) and are subject to the Criminal Code of Canada. This means stopping at stop signs and obeying one way streets and no-entry signs. Open alcohol is not permitted on golf carts, anyone driving a golf cart while intoxicated will lose the privilege of having a golf cart on property. All motor vehicles including golf carts shall not exceed the 15 km/h or 10mph speed limit.

3. Glass bottles or glass containers are not permitted on golf carts.

4. The safety and security of all guests, especially children, should be considered at all times in the operation of golf carts. Driving with a child in your lap or with a passenger standing are potentially dangerous and is prohibited. Such occurrences will result in fines (see Schedule (B) -Schedule of Fines).

5. The number of people on a golf cart is determined by the number of seats available on the cart. Standing up is not permitted. Every person must have a proper seat.

Owner Rules and Operation:
1. Ensure golf cart is locked up at night and upon checkout to avoid theft

2. Ensure golf cart is plugged in when not in use and upon checkout

3. Renter is responsible for any damage to golf cart, an inspection will be completed after checkout. Costs of repairs will be deducted from rental security deposit and renter invoiced for any additional costs

4. Renter is responsible for any accidents/liability while operating the golf cart

At Mum’s Cottage, you will enjoy a huge outdoor space to relax in, and inside you will have an air-conditioned/heated, 2-bedroom corner cottage in Evergreen Village (#22), 1 Full bath, kitchen and living room, and huge relaxing deck with 2 outdoor yards. The renovated kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with everything you will need. The deck is 578 square feet and has a dining area, a huge changeable patio set, and a propane fire pit with 5 chairs for those cozy nights by the fire. Our Golf Cart is included in the price but you must be 25 years or older to operate it and you must present a valid driver’s license. The main bedroom has a queen bed with FireTV (Netflix and Prime Video Included) and has a large closet and 2 dressers... tons of storage. In the second bedroom, there are 2 ‘double’ bunk beds perfect for kids or adults plus a closet. The living room has 2 large sofas and one is a pullout queen bed. There is also a retractable wall divider for privacy. The TV in the living room has regular cable plus Fire TV (Netflix and Prime Video). We have private wifi that's great for someone to work from the cottage and also for the X-box for the kids. Outside we have a BBQ as well as a wood fire pit in the backyard for roasting marshmallows and having those great nighttime stories and songs around the fire.

***Renters are not allowed guests.*** Sherkston does not allow day passes. If you want people to visit, they must be part of your rental party.

The water park is an additional fee. Same for the climbing wall, arcade, and the other attractions.

This generously sized park model Beach House is located in the highly desirable gated community of Wyldewood Beach Club (WBC) offering stunning Lake views both from its large interior and oversized deck equipped with a BBQ, outdoor dining and lounge area. A sofa pull-out with room divider can create a third bedroom or extra living space with lake views. Beach access is only steps away, allowing you to enjoy all the benefits of living on the lake. Golf cart is available for an extra charge.

Rentals may only be booked by an adult who is 25+ with valid photo ID. The person under whom the reservation is booked must be present and remain on the premises for the duration of the stay.

For groups that are not family and consist of all adults, each individual guest must be 25 years old, as per Sun Retreats Sherkston Shores rules.

Enjoy this 3-bedroom, spacious rental on Mariner Cres. that's just a 2-minute walk to Sunset Beach! This beautiful, peaceful cottage has plenty of space to relax, with 2 decks, a barbeque, an extended living area, and plenty of space to sleep with beds for up to 6 people. You'll feel right at home in the modern, recently renovated kitchen area. It's a stone's throw to the lake, or hop in the golf cart and it's a short ride to the central Funplex!

The space
The kitchen is recently renovated and modern, as is the adjoining living room. A sun room has also been added to the unit for even more room to relax and stretch out!
The spacious master bedroom easily accommodates 2 adults, and the two bedrooms each have a single-sized bunk bed to sleep 2 per room.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire trailer, along with a parking space (a second car can be squeezed in if necessary), as well as the firepit outside the unit and the barbeque on the deck. It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the Funplex.

The unit also features complimentary WiFi with fast Internet access and cable TV.
Rental includes the use of a golf cart.
We ask that guests bring their own linens and towels.
Rental rates include park access fees (set by the park, currently $17 per person per rental, subject to change). Note that this gives access to beaches, etc. but does not include access to the water park (swimming pools & water slide) which is separate and typically $20 (kids) or $35 (adults) per day.
