The space
This cottage is tucked away on a laneway at the end of beach road. This Privately owned cottage is a five minute walk to Sherkston resort. There are many other quiet beach locations in the area. The friendship trail and roads in this area are amazing for bike riding. The property is over a half acre and you will love to peaceful setting.

Best way to get around this area is by bike. It is possible to drive but parking at most locations is expensive and limited.

I personally loved the location being a minute walk to Wyldewood Beach and having some greener behind the cottage. Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in rural Port Colborne. Our tent site was built in 2024 on our 11 acre woodland property. We have combined everything you love about camping with the comforts of glamping. The site is very private and includes a gorgeous queen bedroom, large fire pit, BBQ, solar lights, phone charging station, and a clean modern outhouse with handwash station. Just a 5 min walk away from public beach access to Lake Erie (Cedar Bay), plus great biking nearby.

Our 11 acre woodland that surrounds the tent site is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The woods contains mostly White Pine, Red Oak, and Sugar Maple. There are several beautiful large spruce near the firepit. The woods north of the camp site (i.e. past the outhouse) has a nice walking trail you are welcome to use! Wild Turkeys love the north end of the woods, sometimes we see flocks of 20 or more! You are bound to see White-tailed Deer tracks and more than a few wild rabbits too!

Feel free to pick vegetables out of our veggie garden behind the barn (we don't use any sprays or pesticides); wild raspberries from the bushes and explore the forest behind the barn.

Please be aware this is a (really nice) campsite. There's no running water and no electricity. There is a handwashing station inside the modern outhouse. Please bring bio degradable bath soap if you’re planning on taking a lake bath or shower!

There’s a phone charging station inside the tent and a variety of solar and battery operated lights. Turn out the lights for the best star viewing!

We’ve provided a camp kitchen kit to help you prepare and enjoy your own campfire cuisine. There is a grill for cooking over the open fire or you can use the bbq. The camp kitchen kit includes coffee, tea bags, teapot and French press, pots and pans safe for the fire grill, utensils for eating and prepping, cutting board, eco friendly dish wash soap, a bin for dish washing, and dish towels for your use.

Bring your own water and coolers for your food. Bodners corner store is just up the road for ice, groceries, and supplies… it’s open every day in the summer and closes at 5pm.

Camping means there will be BUGS, including mosquitos and potentially ticks. We suggest packing some icardin spray (it works better than deet on our bugs!). There are citronella torches around the firepit for you to use as well. The tent has a sturdy bug screen so that breezes can move through the tent but its *not* 100% bug-proof.

Friendly note that you WILL hear our rooster Thomas-Tophat. Welcome to country life!

BBQ: there’s a new bbq at the tent site that we keep stocked with propane and a lighter. After dinner please be sure the bbq lid is down so raccoons don’t have a party in the bbq overnight! Paper plates can be burned in the fire down to ashes.

CAMPFIRES: 1 wheel barrow load of wood is included with your stay, additional loads are $10 each. A full bucket of well-water will be beside the fire pit when you arrive so that you can safely put out the fire at bedtime (well-water isn’t safe for drinking!).

GARBAGE: All garbage must be placed in the metal garbage bin with lid pushed on tight.

WILDLIFE: As cute as the wildlife are, please don’t feed them on purpose. You will hear coyotes howling but it is rare to see one. (Just because people ask: there are NO wolves or bears! We are located way too far south for that!). We have lots of deer, chipmunks, squirrels, raccoons, cottontails, red foxes, and possums. Since we are located so close to Lake Erie, our woods attracts some interesting birdlife including Great Horned Owls, Eastern Screech Owls, Green Herons, Red-shouldered Hawks, lots of woodpeckers, and every year a few Bald Eagles fly overhead! There is renowned birdwatching within a close drive along Lake Erie (Point Abino, Morgan's Point, etc).

THINGS TO DO: check out our guidebook on this site. There are a few really good restaurants (in my opinion!) in Port Colborne which is about 7 min drive away. Or you can drive 15 mins to Ridgeway / Crystal Beach which has some very cute shops and nice bistros. We are just down the street from the Friendship Trail which is a paved route that stretches many miles and is easy flat terrain for biking or walking. This trail is part of the Greater Niagara Circle route, if you like to bike you can just go and go!

For additional offsite hiking, consider Morgan’s Point (conservation area) or visit the Wainfleet Wetlands Conservation Area (bring your binoculars to see waterfowl in the large ponds, and watch your step for fossils in the exposed rock!).

KeyBank Center is 17 miles from the resort and Marineland is 17 miles away. The resort will provide guests with air-conditioned rooms with a desk, an electric tea pot, a microwave, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a shower. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Newly renovated cottage with central A/C. This cottage is close to all the amenities in the park. The cottage can sleep up to 8 people with the two bedrooms plus an add a room, which gives you and your family plenty of space to spend your summer season. The space comes will all primary kitchen accessories and equipment with an outdoor dining area, a fire-pit, and a BBQ.

Guest access
Sherkston Shores requires a $15 per person renter's fee for the duration of your stay. A wristband is issued at the gate. Kids under 6 are free. This charge also provides guests with access to the Funplex and is not included in the rental price. Sherkston shores only allows 8 renters per cottage to be registered per booking. All renters must be above the age of 25 unless renting as a family.

The location at the quarry was good but busy. The trailer was quite dated and cooking difficult due to a lack of different size pots and only one small/medium size frying pan. The mattresses were awful and my back is still recovering. The BBQ was quite small and although there were two tanks they were both empty!! I had to go exchange when dinner was ready to go on the grill. The owner was pleasant via VRBO site and apologized that the “honour system” regarding the tanks wasn’t followed by the previous renters. We had issues getting the golf cart charged. It would be helpful for better instructions as it is old and so is the charging block so playing with the cords and plugs was required. The owner reimbursed our family $100 for the inconveniences, which was appreciated."

Nicely maintained newer 2-bedroom cottage (the size of a 3 bedroom) clean and fully equipped. Sleeps 8 very comfortably.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed.
The second bedroom is a large bedroom that has two sets of bunk beds. Both bunk beds have double beds on the bottom and single beds up top. The couch in the living room is also a queen size pull out couch. Plenty of room for family and guests!

Our cottage is located at the end of a quiet street with no rear neighbours, fantastic getaway with lots of privacy.
Both spacious and comfortable, inside this cottage features an open concept eat-in kitchen and living room that is lined with bright transom windows!
Relax on the large outdoor deck that has lots of comfortable seating, from a comfy outdoor couch, chair and umbrella set; to a new “egg swing” chair, to a large outdoor dining table and chairs. The perfect space for family barbecue’s, with a bbq for your use.

The deck leads down to the fire-pit where you can spend your evenings under the stars, in Muskoka style chairs.

There is also a small private yard in the rear for outdoor activities. Sherkston hosts Saturday night fireworks over the quarry, every Saturday during peak season. Our cottage is setup perfectly to watch/enjoy the fireworks. Or take a little walk and enjoy great views of the quarry/fireworks just at the end of our street.

There are 2 parking spaces in front of the cottage, and there is lots of additional parking around sherkston.

***There is a stacked washer and dryer in the unit; however, we're waiting for electrical set up and so far the w/d does not function. Please do not attempt to use the laundry. For your convenience there is a coin-op laundromat within the resort.

About this space
Welcome to 33 Trillium! Come and enjoy the famous Sherkston Shores and create great memories from water slides, splashpads and the arcade for the kids to heated pools, hot tubs and nightly live shows for the adults. Let's not forget the beach, just load the golf cart and drive your cart right up to your spot on the beach. Just want to unwind head back to the cottage and relax on the deck or by the fire.
**Please note bookings are from Mon-Fri or Fri-Mon. We also do full weeks.
The space
The cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The add a room is separated by a door which allows for privacy.

The main living area has a fully equipped Kitchen, electric stove, microwave, full fridge, kettle, toaster and Keurig machine.

The main unit is equipped with central A/C as well as heat.

Outdoors you have the front and back deck, a propane BBQ, patio dinning set under gazebo, and a firepit with chairs to enjoy.

One Golf cart is included in booking if you need a second golf cart there will be an additional charge. All golf cart drivers need to be over the age of 25. ID may be required. Liability waiver t be filled out along with contract.

All guests will need to have wristbands to access the park. There will be an addition charge of $16.95 per person over the age of 6.

There will also be and additional $100 cleaning fee required.

Please note access to waterpark is not included. Wristbands can be purchased at the welcome center once you arrive.

The space
The Lakeview Loft is an open concept space offering an entertaining space, sleep spaces as well as spa bathroom. You will note that the space is seasonally decorated to ensure a fresh and refreshed appearance for each stay.
The kitchen space has all the necessary tools and amenities. You will find a welcome basket waiting for you on the counter offering a few treats to ensure a comfy stay.
The bathroom offers hairdryer, a clothes steamer to take care of those pesky wrinkles, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, as well as bath bombs and bubbles for the claw foot tub (note: handheld shower head only).
The double bed is a new mattress and foundation set.
And the second bed is actually NOT a sofa bed but rather a Murphy bed of sorts. It is a queen sized memory foam bed sleeper chest that ‘looks’ like a sideboard. Just ask for help and we’ll get you set up to use it the first time (it can be tricky if you don’t know how). So comfy though….also new in the space.
Sugarloaf Suites and the Lakeview Loft are walking distance to historic West St. for shopping, wining & dining, and visiting the Welland Canal. Nearby you’ll find the Breakwater Brewery; Minors for fish and chips; the Canalside for fine dining; the Pie Guys for coffees, delectable desserts and pastries. Guests have full access to the entire cottage, including all indoor and outdoor spaces. This includes the private backyard, covered deck, outdoor dining area, firepit, and BBQ. The lifted golf cart is also included for exploring the resort. Guests also have full access to the three beaches and the Quarry Beach during their stay.

⛔ Note: Resort facilities (pools, water slides, sports courts, etc.) require wristbands, which can be purchased at the Welcome Centre.

🔹 The park registration fee of $16.95 per guest is included in the rental rate for the first four guests. Registration is required for all guests over the age of 6. Additional guests beyond four (up to a maximum of eight) will be added to the booking, and the park fee will apply to each extra guest over the age of 6.

🔹 Bedding & Towels – Guests must bring their own bedding, blankets, pillows, and towels.

🔹 No Pets & No Smoking – This is a pet-free and smoke-free rental, including the deck area.

We hope you will find this 2 bedroom (queen sized beds) suite fully stocked anticipating the common needs. If there's something you feel is missing, simply just reach out and let us know! You can contact us anytime by messaging us through Airbnb.

We provide limited quantities of basic items to get your stay started, including toilet paper, paper towel, soap, salt and pepper, sugar, tea, and coffee. Should you require more for a longer stay, please plan accordingly

Please note we are pet friendly, however only dogs are permitted.

If guests would like to have a campfire at any time this need to be coordinated prior to arrival.

Guest access
Access is separate from our entrance (we live upstairs). Guests private entrance is through the lower front door with a code (2 stairs). Code will be given to guests prior to arrival and is changed between each guest.

Other things to note
- We respectfully ask that you treat our home with respect and consider it as Your Home Away from Home and remain considerate of us and the neighbours always.
- Our home is in a residential area and local bylaws require quiet between the hours of 11pm to 7am.
- The person whose name the reservation is made is responsible for the conduct of all those using or occupying the property and/or its grounds throughout the duration of their stay.
- When you are not in the house and upon final departure, guests must close and lock all windows and doors. Turn off all interior lights and appliances ( ex. Washer, dryer, stove, etc.)
- Upon final departure, all food and beverages must be removed from the rental property including cabinets, refrigerators and freezers. Failure to remove these items may result in additional cleaning fees
- Garbage and recycling, when full or upon departure must be placed in the storage container outside the front entrance, with the lid closed securely.
- Guests are liable for all damages and/or loss to the rental property caused by them or as a result of their negligence or caused by or as a result of negligence by anyone permitted on the property during their stay.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the suite, and ask that no remnants are left in the yard.
- If you have a pet, you must clean up after your pet and all damages and/or loss to the rental property caused by them will be paid by guests.
- Please note that absolutely no other items other than bathroom tissue are to be flushed down the toilet. ANYTHING other than bathroom tissue should be placed in the garbage. Any misuse could result in plumbing issues and service calls or repairs will be charged back to the client.

Heat and air condition are controlled by owner, we keep it at 21.5c (70fh), we will adjust as needed to suit guest. There are plug in heating heating unit in space if needed. We work Mon-Friday, you may hear noise transfer from us walking before we leave in early morning and while we are home. One car driveway for guest, separate from owner.

Guest access
The guest is granted full access to the entire apartment, can utilize the complimentary laundry on the premises, and is allocated one parking spot. There is also a garden area for relaxation, equipped with a patio table which can be provided upon request.

ARRIVAL / EARLY ARRIVAL
The scheduled arrival time is 3:00 p.m. on the initial day of your reservation. A potential earlier check-in might be accommodated, based on availability and subject to an early check-in fee

DEPARTURE / LATE DEPARTURE
The check-out time is 11:00 a.m. on the last day of your reservation. We reserve the right to charge late fees for departures after 11:00 a.m. A later departure may be allowed subject to availability and check out fee. Late check out fee is at $50/hour.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE
This includes but is not limited to tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes, vape pens, and hookahs. We operate marijuana and tobacco sensors in order to help enforce this rule. If discovered smoking inside automatically charge of $300 will be applied.

MINIMUM AGE
The registered Guest must be 21 years of age or older, unless otherwise permitted by the host.

NO NOISE / NO PARTIES
The Guest may not disturb the quiet enjoyment surrounding neighbors. At all times, the Guest shall refrain from making loud noises and excessive television and/or radio volume that may disturb others. The Guest shall observe quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. Parties and large gatherings are prohibited. Noise sensors are operational.

VISITORS
Visitors must be accompanied by the Guest at all times, and no unauthorized overnight guests are allowed. The Guest is responsible and liable for the actions of all Visitors.

CLEANING
Guests should not leave the property in a state that requires excessive or deep cleaning. Cleaning fees set are only meant to cover the cost of standard cleaning between reservations. An extra cleaning charge could apply if the property is left in a condition of excessive dirtiness

DAMAGE
Guests are liable for any damage and/or theft at the property caused by the Guest, their Visitors during the Guest’s stay. This includes damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishings and equipment (such as towels, artwork, electronics, and kitchen equipment). Guests are expected to pay reasonable requests for reimbursement if they’re responsible for damage, missing items, or unexpected cleaning costs.

LOST & FOUND POLICY
We hold no responsibility for items that are lost, misplaced, stolen, or harmed, even those left behind at the property after your scheduled departure.

PARKING
Vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. We shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicles, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the property.

The space
“The Studio” is a beautifully designed ground floor, One bedroom apartment with full kitchen and breakfast nook, three piece bathroom and queen size bed with memory foam mattress. The apartment has several design features to leave you gasping in awe as soon as you walk in the unit with our custom lighting and unique design.“

The Stuido well designed dining/ work area with 55” Roku tv and breakfast nook. Outside dining is also available with your own picnic table.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking essential to start a beautiful meal for you or other guests. Don’t worry about the washing dishes by hand with undercounted dishwasher.

Enjoy our full bathroom with walk in shower, bright led pot lights for when you get ready.

Relax and rejuvenate in either of our romantic bedroom with custom wall feature and ambient lighting.

It took all our power not to move in to this gem of a unit.. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

New in 2023 to the property. HOT TUB TIME!!! The hot tub can be found at the rear of the building. It is shared between guests that stay at any of our units. Please time use on your own and be considerate for other guests.
