Our rental agreement ensures that both parties are aware of and agree to the terms of the rental. By signing the agreement, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the rules and guidelines for your stay. This helps to create a smooth and enjoyable experience for all involved.

In addition to the rental agreement, we require a $350 offline security deposit hold. A link will be sent to you.

To make your check-in process easier, we have an online check-in form and ask for a copy of your valid photo ID. This will need to be completed in order for your door access code to be generated.

Rental Agreement - Guest must sign rental agreement. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your rental. There will be no refunds given if the agreement is not signed.

Security Deposit - A $350 offline Security deposit hold will be required and a link will be sent to you.

The online check-in form must be completed in order for your door code to generate into your guest portal

Smoking/Vaping -Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the house. Please smoke outside and dispose of all cigarettes butts appropriately in the ashtrays that are provided. Additional cleaning fees maybe charged in the event cigarette butts are found outside of the ashtrays.

Shoes - We ask that you do not wear shoes inside the house, as it tracks in a lot of things we prefer stay outdoors.

Bugs- We recommend that you come prepared with appropriate bug repellent, such as bug spray, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience during your outdoor activities. Bug spray can greatly assist in minimizing any inconvenience caused by insects.

Unannounced guests - Prices are quoted in accordance to occupancy of the rooms. We ask that there are no unregistered guest past 10pm. Pre check in form must be submitted-All guests must be registered.

First Aid Kit & Fire Extinguisher - We have provided both a First Aid Kit and fire extinguisher in case of an emergency.

Housekeeping - There is no daily housekeeping service. While linen and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit to towels or linens to be taken from the house. Should you need extra maid service, please contact us to arrange it. Extra maid services would be at an extra cost.

NOISE- GUESTS SHOULD NOT CREATE EXCESSIVE NOISE AT A LEVEL THAT DISTURBS NEIGHBORS. QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM-8AM

Garbage - Any garbage must be stowed in the appropriate bins. We recommend the garbage is taken out daily to avoid unnecessary odors.
Recycle - Please separate plastics and cardboard and place in the correct bin. Do not place in plastic bags. Failure to separate will result in a $75.00 sorting fee.

Parking - Please park vehicles in designated parking areas only. Please do not park on the grass. Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

Appliances & kitchenware - Only use appliances for their intended uses. We have provided basic kitchenware for our guests, we kindly ask that you load and start dishwasher before you leave. Dish soap and cloths are located under the sink.

Furniture and decor - Please do not move the furniture or decor. This can damage the floors and disturb the atmosphere of the home we have work so hard to create.

Pets - Unfortunately, this property is not suitable for pets of any kind.

Towels - Please leave used towels on the floor in the bathroom.

Water and septic - DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $5000.

Liability - The owners and property manager (PM) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner and PM are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other whom the invite to use the premise.

When you stay at Anchors Away, you have the private use of a comfortable, fully furnished main floor of a house. With two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen/dining area, and a relaxing three-season room that looks out onto the back porch, there is a lot of room to spread out!
The rental area of the house has received a major redecorating in April 2014, and the bathroom has been completely renovated in Dec. 2014. The kitchen and dining room area was recently renovated with all new cabinetry and eat-at island.
One Queen-size bed, plus two Twin-size beds that can be made into one King-size bed, provide for a good night sleep after a long drive or an afternoon out at the areas many parks and beaches. Both bedrooms have a ceiling fan and there is central heating/air conditioning in the apartment.
Unlike many of the rental homes in the area, all linens, towels, and paper products are included for you convenience. There is also a fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs. BBQ facilities are found on the covered back deck, where you can relax on the patio furniture after a day of fun, while a cool breeze blows over from the lake.
Springtime means it will soon be time for the famous bird migration through the Point Pelee area. Birders 'flock' from around the world to see the amazing menagerie of birds that pass by our region. There are plenty of summertime activities around Leamington to be enjoyed as well. Bring along your canoe for a paddle in the Point Pelee marsh or your clubs for a couple rounds of golf at Erie Shores Golf Course, two doors away. The flat terrain allows for an easy pedal around town or along the waterfront roads. You can also catch a ride on the ferry over to Pelee Island for an afternoon of sight seeing and a stop at the Pelee Island Winery's facility there. It's a good place to grab a light lunch and a refreshing glass of wine. If rain does threaten to spoil your day out, don't just find a place to curl up and wait it out! - "Lovely remodeled ranch. Felt clean and had all that we needed. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. Good location for exploring the city as Evers nearby. Hot water and water pressure good. Easy to get in and out with a front door code. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors present. Fire extinguishers in the kitchen. Heat was turned up to make it cozy as it was cold outside. We have a small dog and it was perfect with a field down the street we could walk him to. We used the coffee maker and made bagels each morning. Coffee, creamer and sugar were provided. There was filtered water in the fridge and a welcome bottle of wine offered. We enjoyed the Netflix and WiFi which worked well. The only thing we wished was different were the beds were not comfortable for my husband and I. We rolled to the center towards each other and it was too too soft for us. My husband ended up getting a poor nights sleep on the couch both nights. Otherwise it was perfect!"

All reservations canceled more than 30 days before check-in will receive a full refund. Bookings become non-refundable within 30 days of check-in.

Smoking/Vaping -Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the house. Please smoke outside and dispose of all cigarettes butts appropriately in the ashtrays that are provided. Additional cleaning fees maybe charged in the event cigarette butts are found outside of the ashtrays.

Shoes - We ask that you do not wear shoes inside the house, as it tracks in a lot of things we prefer stay outdoors. Also we ask that feet get wiped off before entering the pool, hot tub and house.

Unannounced guests - Prices are based on double occupancy. We ask that there are no unregistered guest past 10pm. Pre check in form must be submitted- All guest must be registered.

First Aid Kit & Fire Extinguisher - We have provided both a First Aid Kit and fire extinguisher in case of an emergency.

Housekeeping - There is no daily housekeeping service. While linen and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit to towels or linens to be taken from the house. Should you need extra maid service, please contact us to arrange it. Extra maid services would be at an extra cost.

Noise - Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbours. Quiet hours are from 9pm-8am.

Garbage - Any garbage must be stowed in the appropriate bins. We recommend the garbage is taken out daily to avoid unnecessary odors.

Parking - Please park vehicles in designated parking areas only. Please do not park on the grass. Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

Appliances & kitchenware - Only use appliances for their intended uses. We have provided basic kitchenware for our guests, we kindly ask that you wash anything that is used. Dish soap and cloths are located under the sink.

Furniture and decor - Please do not move the furniture or decor. This can damage the floors and disturb the atmosphere of the home we have work so hard to create.

Pets - By request only must be non shedding and under 30lbs

Towels - Please leave used towels on the floor in the bathroom.

Water and septic - DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $5000.

Liability - The owners and property manager (PM) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner and PM are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other whom the invite to use the premise.

- "This place looks great on paper and I don’t know Windsor well so didn’t know what kind of neighbourhood it was in. It’s a tiny house behind a bustling, which means you squeeze past overflowing garbage cans to get to it. Not a great start. It’s obviously been renovated and looks nice but the couch was uncomfortable. We didn’t try the beds because we moved out just over an hour after we arrived. Thankfully another spot was available in a better neighbourhood. My daughter is autistic and we’re both sensitive to smells. It’s obvious that the house had been smoked in and the owner had tried to cover it up. It still smelled smoky and musty. I reached out to the host with my concerns but got no response other than automatic “checking in” and “tomorrow is check out” messages. I couldn’t get a refund because it was less than 30 days since the booking, which is a pretty strict policy for such a poor property. Would not recommend."

Kitchen must only be used for LIGHT cookings for a short while so that everyone can use it, and as we have different guests always, plz make sure not to make spicy foods that their smell might bother’s some with breathing issues & stuff! Kitchen is closed after 10 PM
