- "Nasama Resort was an amazing place to stay! There were two restaurants on site that had great tasting and yet starkly different food on offer. The location was only 10 minutes from town by bus. The infinity pool had a great view of the small swimming/snorkling spot exclusive to the resort. There were kayaks and snorkelling equipment available to use free of charge. The resort is a short drive of about 10 minutes from 'downtown' Port Vila and it was very quiet. The included breakfast at Cafe Vila was good every morning. - "The buggy service around the Island is pretty ordinary . Granted that they have to pick up and drop off guests all the time but there should be some priority given to some cases . eg: Like waiting to go to the airport with baggage. We waited for 45mins before we decided to walk up to the reception . we booked it for 12pm ( Dep at 1520hrs ) and at 1245 we decided to walk . This is not the fault of the operators ( drivers ) but management must give priority to departing Guests. More Island activities are needed to enhance the Experience. Maybe Jetskis .. More water activities , Also the Guest Experience staff ( who were great) should all be on the same page when selling activities ... sometimes we got 3 different versions of the same activities with no definitive proposals or offer . We give them credit as they tried their best to offer the deals . Overall we were very happy with the staff ( brilliant ) . Its a beautiful Island resort with So Much potential to grow your business. - "Very nice hotel, option to use a kayak on the small beach. Food was good, room was very clean. Town/shops is about a 30 min walk away. Our room was on the top floor and there is no lift so request a low floor if you don’t want to carry suitcases up stairs!" - "We went in low season last week, and it was excellent. Weather was great, staff are extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is lovely. Was hesitant about this part before arrival due to prior reviews however they now have an amazing head chef. Beautiful food. Lots of extras for free including kayaks, snorkelling and a fire show on the beach one night. A highlight would be watching the hundreds of fish in the lagoon beside the restaurant each morning while we ate. Reception were great at quickly organising anything we needed including the buggy multiple times per day. The views are so peaceful. Location is close to town but over the hill next to the lagoon and 100% peaceful. If you are looking for somewhere quiet, peaceful to recharge then I would recommend this resort in low season. Would imagine it would still be quiet and peaceful in most rooms during peak season except the rooms near the pool. The rooms are probably the best available on Port Vila. Air con was great and on some days we didn't even need it as the breeze coming off the lagoon was great. Only one thing could be improved - they need to get outdoor chairs on the patios that are more comfortable. We found ourselves wanting to sit out there more but chairs were really uncomfortable. Huge thank you to all the staff, particularly Alex at the pool as he went above and beyond for us 🙂"

From the 20 minute drive from airport to the five minute ferry trip to the island. We were very thankful for John who was very gracious and assured us that it wasn't a hassle being available to ferry us across after midnight. Our villa was incredibly spacious for two people with a porch overlooking turquoise waters which provided hours of great snorkeling for us during our stay. When we weren't snorkeling, we were lazing in the balcony reading,enjoying the sound of the ocean, and local children laughing across the waters. The humidity was tempered by the ocean breeze which helped dry our clothes quickly. The wifi worked amazing considering it's an island. The staff however are the main asset of this resort. I can't say enough about them. The grounds are gorgeous and immaculately kept. They are always warm, welcoming and incredibly attentive, especially in the restaurant. The lovely Annie will make you feel like a special guest every morning at breakfast, Natalie will check in on you during breakfast and answer questions and provide information. The music played at the restaurant also added to the holiday vibes. On my birthday night, the hotel arranged for a local band to sing a birthday song for me while surprising me with a beautiful cake. I was genuinely touched by their thoughtfulness. Although some signs of age are visible in the hotel's décor that could use updates; overall maintenance is still commendable. The meals provided were delicious and well-presented; however we found some portions to be small due to our larger appetites haha. Additionally it would be great if more beverage options besides mineral water were offered in the minibar. This vacation left a very positive impression of Vanuatu, and I look forward to returning!"

Alan, Maggie and the staff team all made us so welcome, providing us with a clean comfortable room, a generous daily breakfast, recommending activities and were a great source of local information. With their help we were able to settle in quickly and have the basics to get around, Good quality meals were available with theme night each evening. The staff always had a wide smile ready to greet you each morning, and nothing is too much trouble. The buses (minibuses) around Port Vila are inexpensive and frequent. Vanuatu people are gentle natured people and are at no time intrusive, as can be the case in many places. We can recommend the Cascades falls. Walk right to the top one, swim over to the waterfall and get a powerful tingling massage from the water! Also snorkelling at Hideaway Island. It's the best we found. Whilst on the subject: If you head that way, take great care snorkelling off Breakas resort, in fact DO NOT go out to the reef at high tide. 2 of our party of 4 -both strong swimmers- were swept off the reef by dangerous offshore currents just as we got near the surf break and were VERY lucky to get back in. (If this happens swim parallel with the beach until you are out of the rip. Don't try to fight it as the water is stronger than you and you will quickly get fatigued) Beyond believe that beach isn't patriolled! We will definitely be heading back to Quest Apartments. Watching unmanaged kids as well as adults crush and kill coral was a bit up setting who didn’t understand the damage the were causing. Maybe mark off an area for beginners so they don’t cause further harm following cyclone with poor finning techniques on the coral. We hope to return one day- this place and beautiful staff were perfect for us and our budget"

We stayed in the plunge pool accommodation and it was ver private with a great view. I would definitely recommend to pay a bit extra and stay in one of these. The accommodation with no pool has no private outdoor area for you to relax and unwind. They catered for my husband who has coeliac disease. The chef spoke to him and made a separate menu. This was very reassuring. Mangoes also extended our stay by an extra night when our flight was cancelled by our airline. This also included a free upgrade. You won’t be disappointed with your stay at Mangoes- definitely recommend "
