- "We stayed in Cordula's apartment for 5 nights. It is a sparkling clean and very comfortable apartment. It has two large bedrooms (with wardrobes in each) with a king size bed and two single beds. All beds have comfortable medium firm matresses. The kitchen/living room has a medium size refrigerator with a separate freezer, microwave with an electronic timer. The kitchen and the apartment as a whole are fully equipped with everything a traveler might need. The bathroom has a large shower cabin and a bath tab with a shower. The water pressure is good. The Buschmühlenteich is the only one of seven former water mills in the Silver Creek in Horn-Bad Meinberg, which has not yet received all water surfaces and Wassserläufe including water wheel outside of the court, as well as the Müller family 200 or 300 years ago cultivated here. And the building itself is almost get the entire mill technology - a rare sight in our time, and one reason for the preservation of the building complex.

The newly completed apartment was renovated in 2014 consuming biologically. It is located on the ground floor of the historic tenement house with two bedrooms and can accommodate up to four people. High quality equipment details such as oiled wooden floors, lots of exposed timber-framed, antique furniture, exquisite decorations, underfloor heating in the bathroom and kitchen and Badtechnik up to date to ensure a relaxing stay.

The Buschmühlenteich has a large, well managed farm garden that would fit well into any outdoor museum. Divided by the classic way with center roundel is a happy mix of vegetables, fruits and summer flowers grown on the buxgesäumte beds that make in a beautiful manner the changing seasons and the growth and decay experienced.

We botanical garden moderate but still much more to offer: The ornamental our particular affection for the roses, especially the old varieties from the realm of Albania Centifolia- and Portland roses. And of course the "sky strikers", the beautiful Rambler places. To the main flowering period in June / July we live in a true fragrance and Blütenrausch, clearly one of the highlights in our garden year.

Animals in the bush mill
The Buschmühlenteich is a small farm using organic methods, have a permanent place in the course animals.
We are currently living with Iceland 6 horses, 2 cows Angus, 13 sheep, 4 ducks and 20 chickens. Horses, cows and sheep grazing humanely in our meadows. In winter, the two stables with comfortable chewing animals are a great place for a little mulled wine.

Our "strict budget" is one of our Leonberger dog Elli and the Gang of Three Lucky Cats, Joschi and Tom.
For life and baby animals on the farm is thus ensured.
All animals are friendly and personable and look forward to additional pats by our guests - with the possible exception of ducks and chickens.

After agreement is possible to become familiar with the handling of horses (especially suitable for anxious horses girlfriends), or to ride.

Our holiday home is located in the popular holiday and climatic health resort Wolfshagen in the Harz Mountains. Quiet and idyllic located between two large dams that invite you to swim and relax, the small cozy town offers plenty of time for relaxation and rest. Our holiday bungalow is located in the local holiday home area.

The house offers space for 3 people and an additional sleeping space for the 4. Person who can be accommodated in 2 bedrooms. A cozy kitchen is available for breakfast and cooking. Furthermore, the house is equipped with 1 shower bath. Spending time together is a lot of space in the cozy living room of the house. The living room has a television with satellite reception for evening TV viewing. In the sunny summer months, the garden surrounding the house offers plenty of space to relax. Of course, there is also a barbecue area here.

From our holiday home there are extensive opportunities for hiking, enjoying nature and spending undisturbed vacation days. But also for sports enthusiasts there are countless possibilities to actively organize your vacation in our vacation home. The direct location in the Harz low mountain range offers countless opportunities for extensive bike tours (ideally by mountain bike). In the nearby towns, such as B. Clausthal Zellerfeld or Hahnenklee, winter sports fans can let off steam on various ski slopes, cross-country trails or toboggan runs. In addition, Wolfshagen in the Harz Mountains is an ideal starting point for motorcycle tours around the Harz Mountains, which with its winding routes attract hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts every year. The nearby Brocken, at 1141 meters high, the highest mountain in the Harz Mountains, is a challenging destination for every ambitious hiker. In the surrounding area you will also find many idyllic bathing lakes, thermal baths, hiking routes and much more ...

Of course, a vacation can also be made child-friendly. If you are traveling with children, it is not far to the large wolf pool (outdoor pool). But not only the climatic health resort Wolfshagen is worth a visit. Our historic imperial city of Goslar (10-15 minutes by car) also offers many sights, restaurants and bars with a double entry in the UNESCO World Heritage Site (Rammelsberg + old town). Bowling, a visit to the cinema and mini golf are just a small selection of the leisure activities available in Goslar.

The county towns Detmold and Paderborn are only a stone's throw away and offers our apartment an ideal base for many attractions, but also for all the other possibilities and options in our region.

The stunning scenery of the Teutoburg Forest and the Eggegebirge provide excellent opportunities for numerous recreational activities in the surrounding area.

THE LOCATION OF THE APARTMENT

Our property is directly adjacent to the nature reserve and the forest and is only about 1km from the natural monument the rock formation Externsteine. Both the little village with the resort center, cafe's and restaurants as well as the Vogeltaufe, the Sachsentaufe, the slope and the Stemberg are all within a 1km radius.

Quiet apartment on the outskirts of Detmold with a beautiful view of the Lipperland, nevertheless only a few minutes by car to the city center of Detmold and the Detmold sights such. B. the Hermann Monument.
The apartment is in a very quiet area, is big enough (approx. 70 m²) and offers overnight accommodation for up to 4 people (double bed 1.80 m wide and sofa bed 1.25 m wide). Especially recently renovated, we put a lot of emphasis on making the apartment as comfortable and cozy as possible. The large balcony invites you to have a coffee, have a barbecue or sunbathe in any season.
A high chair and a travel cot are available free of charge for families with small children. The children are also welcome to use our garden, where a large sandpit, a swing, a slide and a trampoline are waiting to be "played on".

Unlike in many small town with narrow streets, there is a carport especially for the use of the apartment dwellers. Duderstadt is an old and very picturesque town a 20 minute drive from Goettingen. It has a town center for pedestrians only and a wonderful walkway on the former town fortifications. The hosts are fluent in English, extremely helpful and since they live in the same house, accessible when needed, but never intrusive. The apartment is spacious and very clean. It is suitable for families, as well as couples. Guests are invited to use the well maintained garden. Everything is in walking distance, with shops, many restaurants and wonderful bakeries right around the corner. The weekly farmer’s market is very inviting. We cannot recommend this property highly enough. We will certainly be back."

- "The house met all the expectations we had on the basis of the description and the photos of the website. The house was comfortable, clean, and complete and has the luxurious ambiance as described on the website. The furniture both inside and outside was comfortable. All appliances worked. The wifi was up to speed. The bed was comfortable. The shower large as was the bathroom as such. The garden is a beauty. The view on the Wesergebrige is something to stay on the terrace for. One can go for hikings literally around the corner. There are many interesting places in the direct neigborhood and somewhat further (e.g. Kassel and Göttingen are one hour driving away, but you don't have to go that far to enjoy little towns with sometimes spectacular architecture like in Höxter). There are no shops for daily needs in Silberborn but is is an easy drive of 10 minutes to Holzminden. The house was easy to find and to get to. We greatly enjoyed both the house and the area and will definitely come again. I would like to make only 1 suggestion: it would be nice to have an iron and an ironing board."
