I purchased a scissor jack and better lug nut wrench at a nearby Walmart that was opened on Easter, with the advantage of Lyft drivers for transportation. I went to the woman at the hotel front desk and told her of my situation with the flat tire and wondered if it were possible to extend my stay for a 1/2 hour or so, and she gracefully extended my stay to an hour (1:00 pm.) so I can still have access to my room to clean up and shower after installing the spare tire. To my ultimate surprise as I was jacking up the car, a voice from behind me asked if I need some help with replacing the flat. A handsome guy (looked like a 30 something Tom Cruise with sunglasses on offered to help. I asked if he was a hotel employee but he wasn't....just another hotel occupant like I was over the Easter weekend. His father (I believe) came out and assisted as well. Nice people!"

- "Very beautiful,quiet area could not have asked for better we enjoyed our stay" - "Exelente" - "The house is very spacious, easy to get to, two-car garage which we used because of the cold weather, and worked well for our family gathering. The problems arose with the communication, the broken things around the house, and a garage full of trash when we arrived. The house is "tired" with lots of things that need updating and fixed. We left a list and the house manager said they would try to address several of them. The trash issue was a real problem. There were at least 20 bags of trash in the garage when we arrived and they never were removed. Trash day is Friday and apparently, they only get rid of trash on that day so if you rent the house in between, you have to deal with the previous renters trash. Communication was an issue because for some things, I was told to text the housekeeper, for some it was the house manager, and then both of those folks referenced the owner. We were told a handyman was coming by to fix the burned out lights, broken door closures, and leaky faucets, but one never arrived. There is also no house manual or welcome packet, or anything like that to help with the appliances or community or check-out procedures, etc. It's a big house if you just need a place for alot of people, it just has some issues that you may need to overlook."

The park across the street and the yard area would be really nice in the summer. There were some little quirks, but nothing that detracted from the stay. My idea for this sweet home was to have a little cottage to gather our family and friends from all over for respite and experience Midwest hospitality. Our daughter and her husband met at Wheaton College and through our visits we knew this area was very special. It is our wish for those wanting to celebrate a special occasion, escape the city life, explore the nearby historical towns, provide time for sabbatical, or engaging in an academic pursuit, to consider this home for their stay. Our home is also a perfect stay for those who are renovating their home and need a month or two for construction.

What I love most about this home is it's exceptional charm. It exhibits a cozy and intimate atmosphere designed with treasures I found in the quaint shops from Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Wheaton, and St. Charles.

With each stay, my family enjoys the events offered in the City of Wheaton and the neighboring towns. The local towns feature curated cultural events, fabulous locally owned restaurants, cozy cocktail lounges, vintage stores and boutiques. With our home located just a few blocks from Downtown Wheaton, makes for a nice walk to get ice cream or a coffee at one of the cafes.

This gorgeous 4-bedroom home with 3.5 baths is perfect for the business traveler with family or additional coworkers to unwind after a long day, Fully furnished, eat-in kitchen with extra seating at island and desk work space, family room with fireplace, dining room, sitting room, finished basement with workout room, equipment and weights & tanning bed. 30 minutes from Chicago! Entertainment deck with grill & gazebo & 27 round heated pool. Semi-secluded backyard, walking distance to bike path, playground, skate park, walking trails, restaurants and even the gym! Relax on the magnificent deck while watching the sunset and also have your coffee watching the sunrise.
This home is pet free and smoke free. And requires a clean “no-shoes” environment. ***Note: pool closes end of September to early May. Washer & Dryer is not available to guests staying less thsn 7 days. There are no cable channels but you can log into your pay-accounts on the Smart TV in the family room or on your tablets through Netflix, HULU, Amazon etc.

- "We had a great stay in this beautiful home. Primary bed is very comfortable. Didn’t sleep in other beds, but didn’t hear complaints from others that stayed with us so assuming all beds were just as comfy. Neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Felt safe walking to and from nearby stores and restaurants. Pool was great! My son swam a few times and my husband with him once. We did have to bring our own pool towels, so it would have been nice to be provided some due to traveling with wet items is no fun, but we made it work. Only complaints I have are I would have liked if there were more bathroom towels available for use. We stayed 5 nights and were only provided 1 set of towels (1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth) for each person. Also, there is no access to washer/dryer. This was my first experience staying somewhere we didn’t have laundry access, so that was different for me. I honestly didn’t pay attention to us not having access to laundry when booking, due to my history of always having access previously, so I will pay closer attention from now on for sure! Communication was a bit of an overkill regarding the rules, but once I was informed it was automatically sent, the owner took care of them not being sent any longer and all was good! Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again!"

There were 2 large lounging areas that the children who would wake up early could watch TV in a cozy environment. There was a pleasant playground around the corner for kids to release their energy. There were extra lightweight chairs in the garage to add to the existing large tables as needed. This home was large enough that everyone had space. It met all our needs!"

- "Place is nice very good location for what we needed. Living room is bigger than the pictures online. The house and neighborhood were so quiet. The house itself is a little run down probably from others renting not taking care of the place. There was a little stain on the carpet. Some of the outlets didn't work, but it waws no big deal you just used the one next to it. I am a cleaner, so I am very particular about other people's houses including my own. So that being stated she needs to find someone else to help clean the house."
