"I stayed at Zoka’s place for a few nights while in Whitby. While to location was a bit of a walking distance to the downtown area (20 minutes or so), by vehicle it was only about 5min. The area was very quiet. The apartment is in the basement and had all the features on would need for a great stay. Zoka lived upstairs with her family and was barely noticeable. Overall, I would stay at Zokas place again and would recommend it to others who are looking for a quiet place to stay".

Missing or damaged items will be charged retail costs through the Airbnb portal as part of our process.

Excessive noise causing neighbors to complain will result in us asking you to leave right away without a refund of your stay.

- "Lovely backyard for summer. Visited with family, spouse + 2 children under 10. BBQ, great deck and salt water pool. Was within walking distance to GO station. The shower was full of mold, I had to scrub the floor before I would let my family wash in there, the hot tub was unavailable even though the add said we had access to it. The pool was green and cloudy, we the guest actually shocked it ourselves with the guidance of the host, as they were out of town. The floors were dirty. It’s sad because it has so much potential, but the shower curtain was black with mold, the floors filthy and the pool just killed it all for us."

- "Initially stayed at one house - no control over the temperature and it was a hot summer, tenants above were noisy, traffic noise into the bedroom was terrible. Ad described that I would be the only occupant at the address however the address was split in 2 (not aware of this or else I would not have stayed here). Damage to walls, carpet stained from previous renters (my guess). Parking was included however 60% of the time there were no parking spots available. I had to park on the street or somewhere else. The owner of the rental decided one night to leave a harassing and unwelcomed note on my car which. Another time I had to park on the street and I was ticketed by the town. The owner was nice enough to refund me the fine from my rental cost (I think he did anyway). At my decision to move out early and request a refund on the cost of the stay, the owner was able to find a different address for me to stay for the remainder. This 2nd address was in a quieter part of the subdivision, no one upstairs and I had a basement consisting of 2 bedrooms/bathrooms (which I only needed 1). Remainder to the stay was better however the ad for the 1st property was not as described and terrible in quality. Owner also not responsive, after check out, that refund for parking ticket was sent. Attempted 3 times. I guess once I moved out there was no need for him to continue communicating. Rental beware for this address and for VRBO, fine print shows they are not responsible for the ads."

- "This two-bedroom apartment appears almost brand new, in a quiet family-oriented neighborhood. The basement apartment is sleek and modern, and all the kitchen amenities we could need were in good supply. Figuring out where to enter the apartment (from the back of the house, down a narrow gravel incline) took us a few minutes, but we got in the apartment without great difficulty. - "There is a pole in the living room covered in wood that is extremely dangerous, it is not fixated. My daughter leaned on it and fell. There where spiders in both bedrooms, cobwebs on the light fixtures in the bathroom. Also, a spot of feces on the wall in the bathroom. The paint on the ceiling in the kitchen is peeling**** My father helped me check in to make sure the place was safe, and saw the paint peeling on the ceiling. There was no broom, and our comforters hadn't been washed. The owners are trying to charge me 300$ for that for the peeled paint. There is nothing stating a security deposit, only a 150$ cleaning charge if the residence was left disgusting. Which it was not, we even took our garbage with us! I would not recommend doing business with these hosts. Awful experience."

4) Unless authorized in advance, check-in is anytime after 4 pm, and check-out is 10 am. If you'd like an early check-in at 3:00 pm and/or late check-out at noon, please let us know 24hrs in advance and send us $35 via the platform so that we can authorize this for you.
5) Any missing or damaged items will be charged retail costs through the Airbnb portal as part of our process.
6) Any parties or excessive noise causing neighbors to complain will result in us asking you to leave without a refund for your stay—no more than 2 people in the space at one time. Reach out to guest if there will be more than 2 people.
