- "Villa Embil is a little slice of heaven. The property is immaculate with fabulous views and excellent proximity to the charming town of Getaria. The house is extremely comfortable and very well appointed. The nearby Txakoli vineyards are not to be missed. Miguel is an excellent host offering great communication and an extensive guide book for the house and surrounding area. A few key points about which visitors should be aware: The house is situated above the main road and requires a stair climb for access. There is no onsite parking. The nearest parking is extremely close. However, free parking on the nearby dirt road was not always available during our stay. We were always able to find paid public parking, but depending upon how many beachgoers were using the on street parallel parking, the walk from the car back to the house could be up to five minutes. (NOTE: Parking enforcement is only in effect between 10 AM and 8 PM and payment for 24 hours was ~12 Euros.) Finally, dealing with trash and recycling was a minor inconvenience. Be prepared for an extensive waste separation process. Disposal of accumulated trash and recycling is about 500 meters from the house. Despite such minor inconveniences, we had a marvelous time at Villa Embil. The descriptions and photos only hint at the beauty of this house and the surroundings. If we ever return to this magical area we will definitely stay again."

- "What can you say about Villa Lanperna? One of a kind spot that is both baffling and awesome. Who built this place and why? Is this an oligarchs Spanish villa? Or is it (the late) DMXs? Is that the Balenciaga (fashion icon) family estate a couple of doors down (it is)...We were there with a bunch of friends and family for over two weeks and loved it but have so many questions that will likely never be answered. Please - don't take anything i'm saying as negative because it is truly awesome for a vacation - I never had and likely never will be in a place like that again. There is a short list of (not that big of) cons: no AC (but stays relatively cool because of all the cement.. but still, we were there in a heat wave and it was HOT). The house is out of town, with no (or very little) cell service so calling taxi s, etc isn't the easiest thing and you'll likely want transportation for everyone. The WIFI can be spotty. The front gate (and their FOBs) can be a bit finnicky (sometimes they didn't' work) and the neighbours can be annoying - they yelled at us on a Sunday afternoon for being too loud in the pool ( we were playing with our kids) and even stopped us on the road to complain to us directly (I can promise you we are not a big party group) But, let me tell you - those (minor) negatives are nothing when you're staying there. It is awesome - we cooked many nights on the large charcoal grill with dinners outside watching the sunset. The pool (and pool area) is spectacular and perfect size for a full house. Most bedrooms are massive and have absolutely insane views. There is a full gym (if thats your thing) as well as a sauna, a couple of kitchens, an elevator so you don't have to walk up three flights of stairs (my kid loved that) and just wild architectural choices at every turn. Alex, the host/manager, is highly communicative and responded to me extremely quickly every time we had a question or needed some help. If you can pull it off, i'd highly recommend staying here. Perfect for a big vacation with friends and family."

The house owner did a great job being accommodating and helpful, there was plenty of space, the beach up the hill was incredible, and it has a delightful porch to hang relax and hang out at night. Some advice for those reading: you definitely want to rent cars if you're doing anything but beach stuff -- it's a 25 minute walk to the nearest subway/grocery store/etc. And do not sleep with the windows open -- there are no screens on the windows, and the mosquitos in this region are no joke."

The house is located in the middle of nature, but only 15 minutes by car from Bilbao. In 10 minutes, you will find the best beaches in Bizkaia, and Getxo, where you will discover the Hanging Bridge of Bizkaia and the picturesque Old Port. You will also be 1 hour away from Donostia (San Sebastián) and La Rioja.

The entrance to our villa is through the living room or kitchen, where you will find:

- The main living room with a fireplace.
- A dining room with large windows overlooking the garden, where with luck you will be able to see up close a few birds.

In the second floor:
- The main bedroom with two 90x190 single beds.
- A living room with a trundle bed consisting of a 90x190 mattress and an 80x180 mattress.
- A bathroom with a bathtub and shower.

On the ground floor, accessed from the kitchen, you will find:
- Laundry area with a washer and dryer.
- A small gym with treadmill, bench, and weights.

We will leave you bath towels for each one and a few beach towels to use, shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer, sunbeds, duvets, and different types of pillows.

For children and babies, we have a high chair, a cot, one stair barrier, one bed rail, and a small pool for children that you can enjoy in the garden.

The kitchen will be equipped with everything you need to cook, and you will find a welcome pack with coffee, tea, and drinking water since tap water comes from a stream.

The privacy of our villa is total, but we live very close and we must take into account that there are more residents nearby, so the basic rules of coexistence and common sense should always be applied.

Parties or events, pets, except guide dogs, and smoking inside the house are prohibited.

Spectacular newly renovated farmhouse brand new in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve with direct access to the Kanala beach, and with breathtaking views!

The farmhouse has a maximum capacity for eight people, is fully equipped, and has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen-dining room, and a living room. It also has a beautiful garden area that is very spacious!

Here you will be able to enjoy a quiet stay, surrounded by nature and calm! Also, from here you will be able to explore, easily, the entire biosphere area!

There is no parking on the property but there is a free car park directly opposite.
