No vis-à-vis the owners on the 1st floor (blinds closed for windows overlooking the exterior of the tenants of the ground floor). The ground floor and the floor each have their own access gate, their own parking. The ground floor is north side and the floor south side. They are separated and closed (DRC access South, 1st floor access North).

- "We were a party ranging from 4-6 people over two weeks in June- July. From the outset Catherine and her son Jean were incredible hosts. They were waiting when we arrived to show us around, had excellent English (compared to our rudimentary French) and left small welcome gifts which was very nice. The villa is exceptional as are the facilities. There are so many things to amuse and keep a family busy without considering leaving the house. When you do the surrounding forest and paths are secluded and excellent for dog walking. It’s worth noting that the perimeter of the large gardens are secured so our two dogs could roam free without us having to worry about them escaping. Biarritz, Bidart, Guéthary & St Jean de Luz are all beautiful towns with fantastic beaches and restaurants. In summary we couldn’t recommend a better place for a family to stay. - "A very relaxing week - the house had all equipment you could wish for on a self catering holiday and was the perfect location for a short (flat!) walk to the beach or the short climb up in to Bidart (both easily managed by our group of 3 - 7 year olds without complaints). There's even a small theme park perfect for young children just the other side of the river. We flew in to Biarritz and managed the week without hiring a car (a bus stop at the end of the road for buses up and down the coast - and other ones going closer to the house to serve areas of Bidart itself).
