The ground floor and the floor each have their own access gate, their own parking. The ground floor is north side and the floor south side. - "We were a party ranging from 4-6 people over two weeks in June- July. From the outset Catherine and her son Jean were incredible hosts. They were waiting when we arrived to show us around, had excellent English (compared to our rudimentary French) and left small welcome gifts which was very nice. The villa is exceptional as are the facilities. There are so many things to amuse and keep a family busy without considering leaving the house. When you do the surrounding forest and paths are secluded and excellent for dog walking. It’s worth noting that the perimeter of the large gardens are secured so our two dogs could roam free without us having to worry about them escaping. Biarritz, Bidart, Guéthary & St Jean de Luz are all beautiful towns with fantastic beaches and restaurants. In summary we couldn’t recommend a better place for a family to stay. - "A very relaxing week - the house had all equipment you could wish for on a self catering holiday and was the perfect location for a short (flat!) walk to the beach or the short climb up in to Bidart (both easily managed by our group of 3 - 7 year olds without complaints). There's even a small theme park perfect for young children just the other side of the river. We flew in to Biarritz and managed the week without hiring a car (a bus stop at the end of the road for buses up and down the coast - and other ones going closer to the house to serve areas of Bidart itself). THE SETTING AND THE ATMOSPHERE
SERENITY is a high standing villa, located on the heights of Bidart, in the heart of the Basque Coast. It is very pleasant, both in summer and in winter, thanks to its 2300 m2 of wooded grounds, its large swimming pool and its numerous indoor facilities (fireplace, cinema room, flat screen TV, billiards, table tennis, table football, gym, sauna, top-of-the-range hifi). The villa has just been renovated with natural tones that create a cosy and warm atmosphere.

THE VILLA
You will enter the villa through the large open kitchen, leading to a very large terrace. You will be able to relax under the shelter of the pergola or the huge palm tree. In summer, the house benefits from a huge terrace of 170 m2 with a summer kitchen surrounding the large swimming pool. The villa has many areas where everyone can find their happiness, reading room, lounge with fireplace, TV corner in the veranda, office, games room ...).

THE ROOMS
SERENITY can comfortably accommodate 12 people thanks to its 6 bedrooms (5 of which are air-conditioned). The master suite offers a king size bed, a dressing room and a large bathroom. We love the magnificent swimming pool (14*6) heated with salt from May to September (depending on the weather), the top of the range facilities and its strategic location. The villa is just a short bike ride from the beaches, the centre of Bidart or Guethary.
