We always found a parking space on the street directly in front of the house entrance. The landlady is very nice and the handing over of the keys was without any problems. The beach is within walking distance. By car we were in town in 12 minutes and always found a parking space there (electric charging station). The easiest way to get around is certainly by bike. Family friendly house with enclosed garden. In the garden there is a playground and garden trampoline. On the terrace is garden furniture for 8 people and barbecue. The house has four bedrooms. Three double bedrooms and one with box mattresses. The living room is large with corner sofa and flat screen TV, mini pool table, dining area with six chairs as well as a Trip staircase, small sofa by the wood stove. The utility room is small and has a newer washing machine. The kitchen has a dishwasher and various cookware. There is an older bathroom with mosaic floor, toilet and bath, as well as a smaller guest toilet.

Modern kitchen with 2 owens, espressomaschine ect. 25 min from Copenhagen by train or car and just 2 minutes walk from cafes, shopping and restaurants. A very large sunny garden with outdoor spa (1.april-1. september) 2 barbecues, trampoline and all facilities and 2 terasses.
Train station 5 minutes from The House. Free parking.

It did NOT effect sleeping unless we had windows open and overall it was not a complaint - just a reality we were surprised by. Taastrup is 25 minutes from Copenhagen Central station by S train. It was not a factor for us and the trip to/from each day went quickly. Being near the end of the line meant we always had seats going into the city.The home is secluded and we really enjoyed the privacy and appropriateness for our family of all ages. I texted Ulrik a couple times and he responded in a timely fashion. They were gracious and accommodating hosts. Overall, we'd return in a heartbeat and our kids wish we'd do it again. "

The nearly 150-year-old house has been carefully restored and has a very special atmosphere, a bit like being in a summer house in the middle of the capital.

It has 4 levels (including basement) and contains the following:

Living room: Exit to both front and back garden; All room with kitchen/living room and dining room, and a guest toilet.

1st floor: Bedroom with 2 x single beds with 2 mattress toppers, made into a double bed.

2nd floor: Large bedroom with exposed, original beams, fireplace and living room. Really cozy and fantastic light. From this room there is access to a loft with another double bed.
It is not recommended to sleep there if you have mobility issues, as you have to climb a ladder.

We are often very flexible for earlier check-in or at least to leave the luggage from 10:30, if possible on the day, depending on what time the previous guest leaves.

Beautiful modern villa situated in a peaceful area. Including kitchen, dining room, 4 bedrooms and fireplace room with panoramic views of the tall trees of the forest. The large garden contains beautiful flowers, trees, terrace and large lawn which is perfect for the kids to play. Private entrance to the adjoining forest area. The house has been thoroughly renovated and thus appears to be modern.
