This cozy 23 m² studio apartment is built in a container-style houseboat and includes a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is well insulated and features underfloor heating throughout, allowing you to easily control the temperature and stay warm and cozy even during the cold winter months.

On top, you’ll find a spacious rooftop terrace – perfect for your morning coffee, sunbathing, or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset.

The apartment is located directly on the water, with swimming access and free use of a kayak and SUP board during your stay.

Just a 2-minute walk away is Reffen – a world-renowned street food market with delicious food from all over the globe. Nearby you’ll also find Hart Bageri, the acclaimed bakery connected to the Michelin-starred Noma restaurant.

Public transportation is easily accessible, with both buses and harbor ferries taking you straight into the city center.

This is my personal home, so you’ll find some of my belongings here. I simply ask that you treat the space with care and respect. Fresh towels and bed linens will, of course, be provided for your stay.

The iconic DFDS ferry sailing from Copenhagen to Oslo travels across Kattegat and Skagerrak, with a stop for on-boarding in Frederikshavn. Guests sleep comfortably in cabins at night and can enjoy the sunlight on the open deck during the day. The duration of the trip is 19 hours. All cabins have a private private bathroom with a shower and toilet. Certain guest rooms have a desk or seating area. Superior rooms have breakfast included. Guests on board can choose between an array of dining options. The Italian restaurant Little Italy serves simple and delicious pizzas and pasta, while Coffee Crew has a selection of cold and warm beverages, as well as pastries and sandwiches. Afterwards, you’ll be free to explore what the city has to offer.

Fully equipped studio apartment on our beautiful houseboat in the center of Copenhagen Harbor near Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv, Christianshavn with Christiania and with direct view to The Royal Operahouse and Refshaleøen.
Own entrance, kitchen with fridge, oven, pots'n'pans etc toilet with shower and bidet, sofa / double bed, dining table and view to the harbor.
Last but not least: A south facing wooden terrace with deck chairs and private bathing jetty and view to The Royal Library, Børsen (the old Stock Exchange) and The Parliament Tower.

Bars, restaurants are all in walking distance (Nyhavn just across the bridge), the rest can easily be done by bike. It is a busy area, so you got to expect some noise. The room is not too big, so you got to keep organised, but remember that you are on a ship. You can jump straight into the (clean) water of the harbour of Copenhagen."

The space
You will be renting the front part of the ferry, including the front terrace.

There are 2 other terraces, one in the middle of the ferry, which is our private terrace, and one at the back of the ferry, which is for other guests.

The rear part of the ferry is rented out to business' during the day time for having meetings and for other arrangements like talks, courses and serious events, etc in the evenings.

The ferry does not have licens to have parties and therefor there is no music noise or similar from any of our arrangements.

Guest access
The entrance to the ferry is also used by other guest. But you have a buffer zone and a lot of privacy

When you enter the ferry (with a number code), you will find your keys in a key box (same code as main door).

This key will let you through a buffer door and finally your entrance door to the apartment and will also work to the main door for the duration of your stay.

NB! The ferry is not suitable for people with low mobility. There is a step from the pier to the ferry. Accordint to the tide, it might be a high step up or down.

Other things to note
I will send you an information sheet and guide before you arrive. This guide will also be in the apartment laminated.

If you arrive by car, you may only park in the designated parking spots on the street. You will need the app 'Easypark' to pay for your parking.
