The website says that there will be information sent three days ahead of time but I had emailed Franck anyways and he didn’t seem to know this. His replies to my messages were very fast. He only speaks french and Italian. I translated my messages using Google translate and once we arrived we used my poor French and Google translate to communicate. The apartment is attached to his home. There was no noise from his house. It’s in a very quiet location with a beach at the end of the road. There’s an outdoor patio with comfortable chairs and a table. There’s a good restaurant right around the corner and a boulangerie very close by. We had a wonderful time there and highly recommend it."

The cows on the beach at Galeria and the boat trip to Scandalo we also highlights of our stay. We also walked to the lighthouse you can see from the terrace, as well as several walks from a variety of hillside villages. We loved U Fanale the restaurant almost next door to the property, great hospitality, amazing sunsets and the spit roast was a favourite. You barely need to drive anywhere as there's so much to do. We snorkeled every morning (seeing at various times Moray eel, octopus, baby swordfish, rainbow wrasse and shoals of silvery bream) and then strolled along the beach to buy baguette and croissants. The coastal walk to the tower is beautiful, and we kayaked to the island of Pinarellu twice for more snorkeling, picnicking and diving off rocks. - "The owner was very friendly and welcoming on arrival and departure, and it was a pleasure speaking to him in French and English. The villa was perfect for our stay as it was more spacious than the photos suggested and it was very clean and tidy with all mod cons, including air conditioning. The private heated pool was fantastic as it overlooked the sea. Good location for the beach which was only a 10 minute walk / 5 minute drive away and the beach restaurant did excellent food. The nearest village of St Florent was about a 10 minute drive away and had a good supermarket, handy for self catering villas, and lots of lovely harbour facing restaurants and cafes. The villa also has lots of small vineyards in the vicinity should you wish to visit these. Perfect villa all round for a relaxing stay. We would definitely recommend to other holiday makers and we hope to visit again soon."
