The website says that there will be information sent three days ahead of time but I had emailed Franck anyways and he didn’t seem to know this. His replies to my messages were very fast. He only speaks french and Italian. I translated my messages using Google translate and once we arrived we used my poor French and Google translate to communicate. The apartment is attached to his home. There was no noise from his house. It’s in a very quiet location with a beach at the end of the road. There’s an outdoor patio with comfortable chairs and a table. There’s a good restaurant right around the corner and a boulangerie very close by. We had a wonderful time there and highly recommend it."

- "We had a wonderful stay at this island retreat. The outside space was perfect for relaxing by the pool and taking in the sun. The pool was amazing and clean and great for our family of 5. The outdoor living and dining space worked perfectly for apres swim cocktails and dinner. Inside was clean and the AC upstairs made those hot evenings very comfortable. We spent most of our time outside relaxing by the pool. Inside, there is an large open plan kitchen and family seating area with air con. Downstairs there are three good sized double bedrooms (although no air con) with two shower rooms and a toilet. The villa is close to bonifacio (you could walk to the port in c30mins, although it’s all uphill on the way back) and you’re close to the main road to Porto Vecchio and the beaches at palombaggia and Santa Giulia (these were super busy in August). Placed in olive trees, holm oaks and arbutus trees, this large modern villa of 220 m2, is located in the middle of the maquis, very close to the sea, on two levels, marriage of wood and picture windows, in a tiered garden of 5000m2.

In absolute calm, the Capu Luna villa is north-south, fully air conditioned; the large heated swimming pool, 15 meters long, offers a large Bonifacian stone beach, bordered by centuries-old olive trees, an invitation to relax and unwind.

- "Nice stay and all was great. Especially communication with Benoit." - "We stayed for one week in the middle of September, a perfect combination of weather and lack of crowds. Benoit is a charming and gracious host, quite easily the best communications I've had in many years of being a VRBO client. The owner suggests meeting the property manager in the local town of Bonifacio upon arrival as the villa is tricky to find, this is good advice. We found the property location on google maps and navigated ourselves but unless you are very confident with using your car navigation system I would advise against it. If you are looking for privacy and solitude this is the place for you, very quiet and tranquil. The villa is very spacious and well equipped although the pool side umbrellas need replacing, perhaps for the next season. The pool itself is a perfect size for adult swimming or children's recreation, all surrounded by a well tended Mediterranean garden. The grounds may not be suitable for younger children or people with mobility issues, a more formal footpath from the parking area to the house would be useful as the ground is rather uneven. There are four generous bedrooms and a comfortable living space with an extensive library of "coffee table" books, a large screen TV and sophisticate HiFi system. WiFi is available but, a minor point, does not reach to all bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and the "plancha" an added bonus. There are numerous restaurants in the local town and several supermarkets. There are plenty of car parks but prices vary, none particularly expensive. A visit to the "Citadel" is well worth it as a tourist attraction. Overall an excellent stay, we would return."

- "Bonifacio is a lovely town with good restaurants and shops. The marina is huge and accommodates very large yachts. There are many trails to walk and hike to see amazing vistas. For us the highlight was our house. It is beautiful with a large pool. A terrific kitchen for cooking and three nice bedrooms with baths. The common space is large inside and out with dining areas inside or outside looking over Bonifacio. Our hosts were unbelievable showing us around, booking restaurants, arranging for a private chef, helping us with our rusty french. This was an absolutely enjoyable experience for two weeks and wishing we could have stayed longer."
