The location of the house is perfect - very close to a breathtaking lookout point of the whole village and port of Palau. Very short distance to supermarket, restaurants and tennis courts. We were two families with two adults and two children in each - still the house was VERY spacious and plenty of room for everyone getting some space, but also great for socializing. Very well equipped kitchen, nice linens and sheets and generous amounts of towels. ALOT of effort and love are put into details to delight guests - such as shading curtains around the outdoor dinner table for instance. The communication with property owner as well as hosts was very smooth and proactive. We have rented houses several times before and always encountered small issues - be it electricity, air con or other matters, but this time there were NO issues at all. And whenever we had inquiries, the response was within minutes. Would absolutely recommend this house to families with kids who are looking for a chilled, relaxed vacation. Beautiful beaches are not far away, there are many great options for eating out within short distance - and many great places to explore nearby. - "We absolutely loved our villa in La Serra. It is a beautiful group of villas in a really unique spot located just above Porto Rafael. The position of the villa gives it very unique views and breeze at all times of the day, which make it enjoyable to sit, work, eat, relax outside even at the hottest times. The only drawbacks are that you really need a car to drive to any shops or restaurants and the community pool is really dingy and in need of repair. There really needs to be an investment in some furniture - there is currently nothing. Porto Rafael is one of our FAVORITE spots in Sardinia but the parking is a bit difficult. Otherwise, the villa is super clean, very well appointed and the the property manager and daily cleaner are always available and very willing to help with anything. Our family is already looking forward to returning!!"
