Good quality Winter clothing is available to hire from the Villa which is great for international travelers who might not otherwise have any cold weather clothing. We used a hire car from Enterprise(Rovaniemi Airport), but a private driver is available if required via the Villa. 1 hour drive from Rovaniemi on easy main road so I would recommend a hire car, gives you more freedom and a sense of adventure for the family. The fact that our family didn’t want to leave is a great sign, and we would love to visit again!"

Our one-week stay as a family of 5 was filled with “rauha” (peace). The owners were so attentive to our needs when we wanted any kind of help or local info, but otherwise left us alone to enjoy ourselves. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything we needed to prepare meals and avoid expensive restaurant fare (when home for bkfst and dinner). The kids loved the jacuzzi and rolling in the snow! We didn’t take advantage of the large wood-burning sauna or smoke sauna in separate huts (due to small kids not tolerating it for long) but the “perma-warm” indoor electric sauna was so convenient and relaxing. The heated floor in the bathroom/shower room was really nice for drying out ski clothing too :) Easy 25-minute drive on a main highway to Levi, and also only 25 minutes to Pallas national park on our ski-rest day. My only regret is that I don’t own a place like this for myself! I would love to stay here again if I’m back in the area!"
