- "I've spent a few days trying to organize how I speak about my stay because I truly want to provide a comprehensive description of my experience. High level - it was perfect! As in, I do not have a single complaint (other than not being able to find the decadent shower gel available in the property, but I'm hopeful I'll eventually locate it!). Categories: Property: There were ladies on this trip to Dubai so we obviously want to have a very decadent vacation. This honestly felt like the most luxurious venue I have been to in my life! The 4 bedroom house has an elevator, is right on the beach, and is gorgeously decorated. We had access to every amenity imaginable and were located right beside the pool at the Five Hotel, in addition to our own property pool. Everything was spacious - wide, long balconies in every bedroom, glamorous bathroom fixtures, just loveliness. Even better than a hotel, we had access to both a butler and housekeeper to ensure our daily experience exceeded our expectations. Chami and Raj proactively assessed our needs, provided detailed descriptions of amenities, and made the entire checkin/checkout process painless. Any and every request was exceeded - I am in awe of the kindness that accompanied the execution. Five Hotel: Wonderfully decorated, trendy, modern hotel with a prime location on Palm Jumeirah. The hotel has a cool pool design and tasty restaurants (and currency exchange, vape store, etc.) that you'll have access to. Like all of Dubai, everyone is extremely polite and thoughtful. It is only a 25-minute drive to the Dubai International Airport and 20 minutes away from Expo 2020 site. Arabian Ranches houses 19 half-sized basketball courts, 2 large lakes, 15 full-sized tennis courts, and 2 international-sized polo fields. It has a souk that contains a Carrefour Market, restaurants and cafes, stores, and others.

You can definitely relax in this place because of the serenity and the fact that it is away from the busy buzz that is always present in Dubai.

Getting Around:
Covered private parking is available in the villa if you have your own ride (which is preferable). Uber and Careem are also options for booking a taxi.

If you enjoy long walks and would like to explore the rest of Dubai through a metro station or a bus, there is a bus stop nearby and at the Retail Centre as well. Bus J02 goes to the Mall of Emirates and the Metro Station with the same name that is also adjacent to it. Getting on a train will bring you to different places in Dubai. It is also connected to the tram system that can get you to JBR, Media City, Marina, Knowledge Village, and more. It is also linked to the monorail that can get you around Palm Jumeirah.

The fastest and easiest way from DXB is by taxi (25min, 100 AED). The cheapest way from DXB airport is by metro (1 hour, 7.5 AED per person) then a taxi or bus ride at the Mall of Emirates.

If you rent a car, make sure you get a navigator or use your mobile map app. Dubai intersections are pretty confusing!

There is a community pool ,park, and basketball courts area 10 seconds walk from the villa, and the lakes club (with licensed bar and restaurant, fitness first, supermarket etc) is a 10 minute walk.

The price quoted is for use of the whole villa exclusively. The whole villa and gardens are available to the guests.

Other things to note

The maid (who has been with our family for 7 years and is awesome) lives in a separated section of the villa, with separate entrance. She can provide villa cleaning, laundry, cooking and babysitting on request. Her work hours are typically 8am-6pm (with Fridays off) but this arrangement can be adjusted to fit in with guests individual needs, just ask.

- "Firstly, then property manager and owner Hugh, is extremely professional and thoughtful in his communications before and during our stay. We know he went to great lengths to fix each and every issue that arose and he did not get frustrated or snappy once, which shows great strength of character. He also took our feedback and acted on it - which is very positive. He agreed with much of what we were saying and I will make reference to these specifics in thie review. The property itself is more aged than it appears in the photos, the interiors are actually completely different to the photos online (as of our booking in June 2020) and so when we entered the house we were disappointed firstly that it did not look like the photos (it looked much less chic, more run down and with much older furniture). In addition the backyard was pictured with a trampoline, which was not actually at the property. I did give this feedback to the property manager Hugh on our 3rd day, and he responded very positively and agreed and has since booked a photographer to come and take new pics. If I was staying post July 15th 2020, I would check with him that the photos online are indicative of the property and are the new photos (new photos should be taken post 15/07/2020). - We had some ongoing issues with the air conditioning system upstairs which required work teams to enter the property on 4 occasions during our stay to repair. This was dealt with very swiftly by Hugh, who sent teams around very quickly to look at and try to repair the aircons. In saying this, as holiday-renters its frustrating to have this happen and certainly impacts sleeping and generally being in the rooms. We felt very frustrated at times as we were paying holiday rental prices and having to facilitate people coming in and out (waking up babies etc) throughout our stay. We all felt like the general maintenance schedule of the property could be better managed to ensure these things don't happen while people are paying to stay. - We had some expectations of the housekeeper as per the listing and previous conversations with Hugh that were extremely different to the actions of the house keeper (Emy) during our stay. The listing had described the property as having a housekeeper to maintain the house each day, do laundry, babysit and cook. But when we arrived, it was a very different situation. Hugh has since updated the listing to reflect Emy's true role, which hopefully will stop any future issues."
