The location is excellent, we arrived at Narita Airport and took the Keisei train directly to Keisei-Ueno Station, which is about a 10-minute walk to the hotel. When we left Tokyo by bullet train, it was just a short and easy ride to Tokyo Station from the nearby JR station (only 5 minutes away on foot). The area around the hotel is vibrant, with lots of restaurants and shopping options. It’s within walking distance to Ameyoko shopping street, where there’s tons of great food and deals, and it’s also close to Akihabara if you’re interested in electronics or anime culture. We stayed in a traditional Japanese family room, which was perfect for our family of four. It was very clean and spacious. The kids loved sleeping on the tatami mats, and there was also a twin bed and a double bed. My husband and I each had our own bed, which was a pleasant surprise, I had been worried we’d have to share a double bed! The room also had a washer/dryer combo, which was super convenient and allowed us to pack light. Another nice touch: there was even a vacuum cleaner in the room, which I used to tidy up during our stay. Housekeeping is provided once every 7 nights, but we didn’t end up using it. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and overall we had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Tokyo!"
