Except one night when some travelers arrived late and flipped the light on and were heard shuffling through their bags. Not bad for my 5 nights of being here. There are plenty of showers, and a kitchen area with a fridge, stove, sinks, tiny oven, and a kettle for the tea and instant coffee they provide. Laundry was 500 total with wash, detergent, and the dryer too. When I needed a visa printed, their printer wasn’t working but the man at the desk went to the convenient shop to print it for me and also brought me chocolate just to be nice. Checkout was easy, and they locked up my bags for me so I could go explore. This was a really memorable hostel experience. "

- "I stayed here for a week in February and I would likely stay here again - just knowing that the breakfast that is supposed to be included is a stack of Starbucks cards, $1,000 yen for each night you're staying. The shared dorm featured guests of all ages, not just the college/party aged crowd, and there was a mix of foreign tourists as well as locals in the 6-bunk landing where my top bunk was. Laundry worked well - make sure to bring your own detergent, there is none available in the laundry area that I saw. There are very few trashcans, and it's sometimes confusing, looking at some personal possessions on the shelves, if departed guests just left that behind (which turned out to be the case) or if it's someone waiting to pack them and storing them there for a bit. Bring your own hanger, just in case. Next time I would buy a "cabin" style bunk, as it would allow me to store my suitcase in the little walking side area near the sleeping bunk, and they get a little mini-shelf under the cabin for storing something like shoes or a small bag, too. The lockers are TINY. Not big enough for a laptop - barely big enough for a small purse and your phone to be tucked away safely when you take a shower. Shared bath (separated by gender) is really nice - great toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel bottles by each shower faucet) and great water pressure. Soaking bath divine. Bath and face towel rentals available through the front desk. Bring your own slide sandals/shower shoes. "

- "The hotel was very clean and the staff welcoming me very friendly. The room had a large luggage storage area and a small locker inside the bunk. The room I was in was in was on the top floor with no elevator so it was a little awkward arriving and leaving. Bunks were brand new built from wood and were a little noisy as they acted like a boom box for any neighbouring noise. Showers and toilets were perfectly clean and weren’t an issue for noise when sleeping"

- "Stayed here twice and had a great time both times. The area is nice and the staff was extremely helpful and keeps the place very clean. Didn't try the in house restaurant, but the dessert/parfait operation they run at nice had some really delicious desserts and drinks. My only complaint is the hostel's towels are very thin and you're only allowed one for the stay. Additional towels are available for rent for ¥200 for the stay, but if you have a lot of hair (or are very accustomed to more plush towels) you may want to bring your own. I will be doing that next time and would definitely stay here again!"
