Our tatami was clean and airy, with air conditioning and extra bedding in the closet. The bathing facilities were separate but ample for all guests to use, uncrowded and unrushed. There was a communal kitchen and fridge, as well as vending machine, area to play pool. The same friendly Mr Ryogo Komuro who checked us carried my bag up the stairs from the street to the second floor room and later provided very detailed travel info for the limited time (2 days) we had available to enjoy the Hakone Loop with our Hakone Free Pass. Highly recommend this hotel, if you can do without the traditional ryokan experience with in-room meals and onsen!"

- "My family and I stayed here two nights just before Christmas. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The owner offers a shuttle bus during the morning hours to Gora Station, which is very helpful for getting to Hakone ropeway. Local restaurants were a bit unaccessible as it was off-season but this inn has its own great little restaurant kitchen. We had two dinners here and tried almost everything on the menu. It was all very good. There is a cozy common room for breakfast and dinner with a wood fire and a view of the mountains. The private onsen needs to be booked in advance but always had availability. I recommend an onsen visit in the late afternoon. Turn off the lights and soak while enjoying a gentle and soothing view into a private garden space. Bed room with Tatami space is suitable for 1~2 people.
Two double beds are provided.
On tatami floor, a large sofa is furnished.
You can enjoy the sound of Jakotsu river (蛇骨川) and the changing scenery of Hakone mountain in every season.

※Modular bathroom is furnished inside of the room.
※In rainy season, or sudden high level water flow, the stream sound will increase, and sometimes it is a bit noisy.

In our lounge space, you can enjoy cooking and chilling out with another guests. The kitchen has enough cooking kits, and Japanese tea pot and coffee kits are well provided.

On the other side of kitchen space, a counter desk, which streches alonge side of window is available if you would like to use your computer. Some sockets are equipped on the desk.

Moreover, the Japanese tatami floor room is open for every guests. In winter time, people can enjoy "Kotatsu" (a heating table) to keep yourself warm.

Cabin-typed rooms, "Kagodoko"(籠床).
One bunk bed in Mixed Dormitory is available.
You supposed to be placed upper or lower level of bed.
On upper beds, you need to climb up a rudder.
If you need upper or lower level, please let us know in advance.
You can stay in one bed, which is surrounded by walls and ceilings.
Perfect mixture of Japaneseness and Modern architectural design.
Compact safety box and dimmable lights are furnished in each rooms.

【B2F】 Public Lounge
Our lounge space is decorated for Japanese and western style blended. All guests staying our hostel can use here for free. This space is one of another share spaces, so you can share your time with another travelers in Japanese tatami floor or another tables.

Of course you can store your food in fridge.

Bed room with Tatami space is suitable for 1~2 people.
Two double beds are provided.
On tatami floor, one round table and Japanese style mattress (Zabuton) are available.
You can enjoy the sound of Jakotsu river (蛇骨川) and the changing scenery of Hakone mountain in every season.

※Modular bathroom is furnished inside of the room.
※In rainy season, or sudden high level water flow, the stream sound will increase, and sometimes it is a bit noisy.

【B2F】 Public Lounge
In our lounge space, you can enjoy cooking and chilling out with another guests. The kitchen has enough cooking kits, and Japanese tea pot and coffee kits are well provided.

On the other side of kitchen space, a counter desk, which streches alonge side of window is available if you would like to use your computer. Some sockets are equipped on the desk.

Moreover, the Japanese tatami floor room is open for every guests. In winter time, people can enjoy "Kotatsu" (a heating table) to keep yourself warm.

At the gallery space, a history of this building and Japanese culture is also displayed.

Indoor Onsen and Outdoor Onsen rooms are available.
All of waters comefrom 100% natural hotsprings of "Sokokura no Yu" (底倉の湯）.

This washitsu* has a Japanese low table and zabutons* on tatami* flooring. You sleep on futons* laid on the tatami, and you can sit directly on the tatami or zabutons set on it.
