We were please to find a sampling of homemade wine and pastries waiting for us after the harrowing journey from Rome through Naples to Castellammare di Stabia. The town itself has a really cool cable car that goes to the top of a mountain and offers an incredible view of the Sorrento coast from Capri to Vesuvius. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to explore the town and learn more about it."

- "We chose this apartment for its close proximity to the train station. We stayed 4 nights and took day trips to Pompeii/Mt. Vesuvius tour, Sorrento Beach Club, and a day sightseeing in Naples. Francesca and her family were welcoming and even provided laundry detergent when asked to wash one load. Our towels were wet from our day at the beach. We hung them out to dry on the terrace. When we came home later fresh clean towels had been left for us. It is 4 flights of stairs up to the apartment."
