The walls need soundproofing as you can hear doors opening, doors slamming shut and people speaking or watching TV from adjoining apartments. We found an unlockable door, broken stove top and unworking TV, among other things but managed to negotiate a fair solution and appreciated the attractive price for a convenient location. The bed, toilet and shower all allowed us to enjoy our stay albeit without the comforts Australian travellers would normally expect."

Five minute walk to Gardenvale train station, (Sandringham Line) eight stops (approx 20 minutes) to Flinders Street Station Melbourne city, Arts Center, theatres etc shopping etc.. Same train line also stops at Richmond Station(15 minutes) for short walk to AMMI, Melbourne Park, Rod Laver Arena and Hisense Arena, (for The Australian Open and all other major concert events)
Location also five minute stroll to Martin street coffee culture and variety of affordable restaurants, best bakery in Brighton, supermarket and many other shops. Explore beautiful bayside even further with a 15 minute stroll to Bay Street Brighton (or 2 minutes by train) to cinemas, cafes, restaurants great shopping and many other attractions. There is also a shoes off policy in the flat. This flat is beautifully appointed to accommodate a single person or a couple who are able to share one queen bed. Please contact me should you require clarification regarding any of the above requirements prior to booking. Parking: There is 2 hr parking during the day in Thomson Street (one house distance from us) and free parking at night after 6pm. Martin Street is strictly 1 hour parking, with free parking at night.
There is an option to park off street in our driveway, (provided the vehicle is not a truck or 4wheel drive - small sedans are best suited. If you choose this option there is a deposit of $80 cash for the remote control to the driveway gate, (this is the cost of replacing a remote should it be lost or damaged). This cash deposit is fully refundable on return of the remote control.

The location is lovely, close to the train station and easy to get the SkyBus Peninsula to and from the airport (cheaper than Uber). Brighton is a beautiful suburb and I look forward to returning! Easy to get to the city, the beach, the airport. Juliet was welcoming and provided lots of recommendations for restaurants and transport. We also had our privacy. Shower pressure was great too. Lots of cafes around for coffee or breakfast. Highly recommend this accommodation if you’re staying in Melbourne! Juliet is a great host and we would happily stay here again :)"

Malvern and the surrounding suburbs are as Melbourne as it can get - lush tree-lined streets, tiny local coffeeshops around the corner, and lively nightlife within a quick trip on public transport.
Sandwiched between Dandenong Rd & M1 freeway, our place is only 20 minutes away from the CBD by car, and approx. 30 minutes by public transport. The Caulfield campus of Monash Uni is only 15 minutes away by foot - get a bike and you`ll be able to wake up at 8:45 for a 9:00 lecture. :)
A quick note about the TV: for some reasons, signal reception is quite patchy inside the unit, so not all channels would be available. Meanwhile, there would be Netflix already logged-in - please send us a message if you need any assistance.

This stylish one-bedroom apartment, affectionately nicknamed "Shakespeare," is perfectly located just moments from the beach, Acland Street, and Luna Park. While Luna Park is directly opposite, the apartment is situated at the rear of the building, ensuring a quieter and more peaceful experience. Here’s a little more about the space:

Stylishly appointed ground floor one bedroom apartment within an easy walk to Hawksburn Station, as well as the many shops, cafes & restaurants on Toorak Road & Chapel Street. There is so much to do in South Yarra like go to the footy, see a movie, visit Botanical Gardens, Fawkner Park or the Yarra River, plus all the shopping, restaurants, cafes and pubs... or simply kick back and relax, you will never want to leave!
The property is located on the ground floor and there are secure gates at the entrance and exit for extra security. The living room is well appointed with a heater, a comfy couch, flat screen TV and a dining table with two chairs. The kitchen has everything you will need including utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, coffee, tea, sugar and milk. The bedroom comes with a super comfy queen size bed plus has built in robes, heater and portable fan. Bathroom with shower over bath and towels, hairdryer, toilet paper all supplied. There is also a communal laundry on site which is coin operated and Wi-Fi connection as well.
You will have complete access to the apartment and no keys required, all digital access. Please note there is no parking on site, you can park on Williams Road (clearway in the morning) or just down the road on Cassell Street.
Although we won't be available in person we are available to assist at anytime throughout your stay via the booking platform.
South Yarra is a bustling, upscale suburb with art deco apartments facing the Yarra, and well-preserved mansions like the 1847 Como House. Swanky boutiques, art galleries, cocktail lounges and eclectic bistros line busy Toorak Road and Chapel Street, while Prahran Market offers gourmet foodstuff. Nearby, the vast Royal Botanic Gardens is popular with joggers and picnickers.
South Yarra can be easily explored on foot or by car. The Hawksburn train station is only 210 metres away and trams run along Toorak Road about 500 metres away. There is no carparking allocated to this property however there is free parking on Cassell Street about 100 metres away and you can park out the front of the building but morning restrictions apply.
When you check-out you will be required to leave the property in a neat state including dishes washed and put away, used towels left in the bathroom for the cleaners to collect, fridge empty, all personal items removed & rubbish removed and disposed of. This will ensure the cleaners can prepare the property for the next guest. If extra time is required for cleaning then we will put in for additional costs through the booking platform.
The bed in this property is provided with a fitted sheet, doona with cover and 4 pillows with covers. A top sheet is not provided.

This beautifully set up apartment is extremely comfortable, with beautiful art works, Big Screen TV, separate kitchen with dining table, and basic food supplied so you don't have to visit the supermarket (which is a 3 minute walk away) when you first arrive. The apartment is close to everything you will need but gives you a quiet and very safe base from which to tourist. In a recent survey of all suburbs in Melbourne, it was found that resident access to all public transport networks is the overall best in the city for Ripponlea. The apartment is on the third floor (*note there is no lift/elevator).

Free wifi, TV (chromecast so you can cast off your device). Well set up kitchen, basic goods stocked cupboards so you have basic food items when you arrive, Washing Machine and Dryer (communal). Security car park. Basic Toiletries (soap, shampoo conditioner) supplied.
Other things to note
The kitchen is stocked with basics so that you wont have to make a trip to the supermarket as soon as you arrive. toiletries etc are all in the cupboards so you will have enough basics for a meal and feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. Both of the beds have an electric blanket as well. Please no extra guests above 4.

No parties or events at any time. If you're coming to Melbourne to party, you've picked a great city to do so - just not at our place. Though we're sure it won't come to it, complaints of unruly behaviour will unfortunately result in you being asked to leave. Not good for you. Not good for us.
Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property. What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law, not so much one of our rules.
Do not tamper with any smoke alarms. Tampering with the smoke alarms will result in fines up to $15,000.
If you break or damage something, please do the responsible thing and let us know so we can arrange for its replacement/repair.
Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

Comfortable modern apartment in excellent location close to amenities and main line railway station into CBD.
Our apartment is 7-8 minutes walk from Caulfield railway station which provides excellent access to Melbourne CBD only a 15 minute train journey away.
The apartment is a very secure one bedroom on the second floor with elevator access and has split system heating/cooling and a balcony.
2-3 minutes walk away is a number of restaurants, a Coles supermarket, chemist and coffee shop.
The space
This is our apartment, not normally on airbnb but we're listiing while we're on holiday so we can have more to spend while away. Our friend lives in the building and can help with any issues that present during our absence. It's a 2 bed apartment but we'll be storing some of our personal items in the second bedroom which will not be accessible for guests, hence it's listed as 1 bedroom. Some of our stuff will be around the place which shouldn't impact on your stay unless positively. There is a balcony but it doesn't have a great view, hence no photo.
We're on the second floor, the building has an elevator.
There's free parking on nearby streets - 5 minutes and under - if you'll be using a car.
