If you do want to take that car out of the garage, head down the peninsula to 1 of 70 wineries, craft markets, surf beaches and/or cable car ride in Dromana within a 30 minute drive.

- "The apartment was nice and tidy, everything is in working order, located only a few minutes walk from the shopping centre and the beach. Communication was seamless! Russell was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. Overall we had a lovely stay here, highly recommend! Communication other than phone call should also be an option as txt message was sometimes an easier form of contact for me during the stay as I attended a noisy stadium for sport tournament during our stay. The owners supplied me with an abundance of information for the appliances in the apartment, travel information and tea/coffee milk for our arrival which I found thoughtful and appreciated. Overall, the apartment was as described, the location and cost suited our budget."

-The washers and dryers in the shared Laundromat require payment. We advise that you do not leave your laundry unattended, as this laundromat is also used by the puplic.
- Once the starter pack amenities have been used, you will need to purchase your own essentials.
- BBQ is located on the balcony table. There is a power switch behind the BBQ. When you have used the BBQ, please clean it after yourself and apply a small amount of oil to internal surfaces to prevent rusting, before closing the lid.
Please wait until the BBQ has completely cooled down before putting the cover back on. It has a draw string to tighten and secure it to the BBQ. Store the cover inside when using the BBQ otherwise it will blow off the balcony. We need to protect the BBQ from salt air. If cleaners are forced to clean the BBQ, they will charge an extra $25, which we reserve the right to forward onto the guests.
There is a sensor light on the balcony. If this becomes annoying, switch it off at the point behind the BBQ.

The apartment's position is secure and so convenient with only a 7-min walk to the railway station, restaurants, cinemas public bus stop, even the Airport Skybus. You are a 6-minute walk to Bayside Shopping Centre..... a huge multi-storied centre with cafes, bakeries, Woolworths, Coles, and KMart... and a bunch of fashion and bargain stores. Furthermore you are only an 8 min walk to the magnificent Frankston Beach with very safe swimming or wading in the crystal water or sunbaking on white, clean sand. Further up the beach there are restaurants, the pier and boat ramps. Just past the railway station there is PARK POOL (a large heated indoor pool and gymnasium complex), a large TAFE technical college and the huge Frankston Hospital.

GOING FOR A DRIVE OR BUS TOUR
Frankston is the major gateway to Gippsland, Phillip Island and the Mornington Peninsula. Along the ocean side of the Peninsula there several famous surf beaches and 66 wineries to go for lunch or just a tasting, while all along the Bay side there are restaurants and shopping centres virtually overlooking the safer, calmer, beautiful bay beaches. All along the Peninsula you can visit historic homesteads and take a full day to drive right down to the end with so much to see along the way. It's about a 2hr drive if you go non-stop to the end. Newcomers may not realise that Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula boast over 17 golf courses bewteen them and most are world standard. If you want to go " bush" Gippsland has beautiful country towns to experience, the Dargo High Plains (3 hrs drive) and the Mt. BawBaw snowfields in winter (4hrs drive). There is Phillip Island (2hr drive) with seals, koalas and it's famous Penguin reserve with it's amazing "Penguin March" at dusk. The apartment has everything for comfortable living for 2 days or 2 weeks and it's only a 1-hr train ride into the city of Melbourne. You can get there really easily by train or airport bus and I can describe the best driving route if you are coming from the airport or from outside Melbourne area.

The space
This Level 2 apartment is modern and has all the comforts of a permanent residence. It is a very secure and quiet building and we ask guests to keep it that way. It is certainly not a "Party Central" situation. There is no WIFI but both tvs can pick up all free-to air channels. It is only 4-5 minute walk to the major Frankston shops or a 12 minute walk to the beach. It has its own balcony with comfortable furniture and your personal underground carpark space. Accessible from Melbourne Airport by Skybus or by bus/train from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. and the building elevator provides easy access to your apartment. There is some milk in the fridge as well as coffee and tea for your arrival after which you need to provide your own. All toiletries as well as towels are enough to cover a week Every 7 days our cleaner will come in to replace all towels and linen and remake the beds. She will also give the apartment a "once-over" cleanup. With your original booking fee you have already paid for your check-out clean but if your booking is more than 9 nights we will provide a compulsory mid-stay clean free of charge.

The Beauty Park Getaway is a private escape with glorious park views of the undulating lawns of this celebrated park. With the Little Beauty Market at the park once a month, and fitness groups training regularly, there's a vibrant community feel about the area.

Our place has a relaxing living and dining area, 2 bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a combined bathroom/laundry with a separate toilet. There are two courtyards - one which is north facing with a
2 delightful timber outdoor settings which you can combine or keep separate (4 chairs, 2 tables), or a place to sit on the steps and enjoy the sunshine. Plus there is a secure utility courtyard which has a clothesline and a doggie door from the unit so your dog can have easy secure access to some fresh air. We also have some pet food bowls, giving you one less thing to worry about for your furry friend.

We've made the open plan living and dining area comfortable with a 2-seater couch and a club style arm chair sitting in front of the 50inch smart TV. You can add your streaming services so you feel just at home. There's a floor lamp for mood lighting, some fun UK coasters, and a recycled timber side table made with antique metal straps. The dining table is a bar table with a funky urban industrial groove that's both chunky and fun. There are 4 bar stools to complement it, and a licence plate tin that's home to the serviettes and salt and pepper. We've put some clean wipe placemats on the table to make cleaning up easy.

The kitchen has everything you could need if you love to cook while you're away. There's a series of pots and pans, a rice cooker, a hand-stick blender, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, electric stove and even some herbs and spices. There are mixing bowls and measuring cups, a lasagne dish, cutting boards, cheese knives and a timber board, even a cookie tray. And there are wine glasses for your end of night indulgence.

The main bedroom has the best view of the getaway looking out to the glorious parkland and the front garden courtyard. It's north facing, giving you the healing properties of sunshine and light, with the comfort of a queen size bed. There's mirrored wardrobes and drawers for your clothes, and a dresser with mirror. Bedside lamps are also there for your convenience.

The second bedroom has two twin beds, mirrored wardrobes, a chest of drawers, and is also home to the work desk, some board games and a computer lap table if you want to sit on the couch or in bed to do some work, study or play some games on your iPad. There is also a container of pens and coloured pencils and some post-it notes if you want to take some notes.

The bathroom has 2 basins, a huge mirror and a shower with a tub bath if you need to wash younger children or your dog after an afternoon at the beach. There's a Bosch front loading washing machine, with plenty of cleaning supplies. There's a hair dryer also in the vanity cupboard. The bathroom leads to the utility courtyard where there is a clothesline that catches the afternoon sun. And there's a doggie door for your small dog to come and go.

The getaway is predominantly floorboards except for the second bedroom which is carpeted. All rooms have block out blinds and sheer drapes to let in light but add privacy. There is a reverse cycle air conditioner in the living room, which is quite powerful.

Note: We are only 10 doors from Frankston Hospital with 2 car spaces. Parking at the hospital is $15 a day per vehicle, so if you need extra parking for someone in hospital without paying for hospital parking, it’s a beautiful walk through the park to get to your included car spot.

Our guests have the entire front unit, the front courtyard garden, the side courtyard and two car spaces that are labelled '1'.

Other things to note
There are 6 units in the block, and being up front, besides cars for the other units going passed your door, you don't really hear from the other residents. We would hope you would be respectful of the other residents with quiet enjoyment.

- BBQ is located on the balcony table. There is a power switch behind the BBQ. When you have used the BBQ, please clean it after yourself and apply a small amount of oil to internal surfaces to prevent rusting, before closing the lid.
Please wait until the BBQ has completely cooled down before putting the cover back on. It has a draw string to tighten and secure it to the BBQ. Store the cover inside when using the BBQ otherwise it will blow off the balcony. We need to protect the BBQ from salt air. If cleaners are forced to clean the BBQ, they will charge an extra $25, which we reserve the right to forward onto the guests.
There is a sensor light on the balcony. If this becomes annoying, switch it off at the point behind the BBQ.

Other things to note
Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to our guest app. Prior to check-in, you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your licence/passport and credit card before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). We do not charge your card, nor does it get stored by our system, and you are welcome to block out some numbers, but please note that our Guest App has the highest level of PCI compliance available. This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.

The apartment consists of 3 bedrooms with queen size bed in each. Bedroom 1 has an ensuite. Another bathroom with laundry. A well-appointed kitchen, built-in microwave, dishwasher and gas cooktop. Open plan kitchen and lounge with a large T.V. A wrap around balcony allowing you to enjoy the panoramic views of the bay.

Guest access
Guests have use of the entire apartment. The Fob will allow access to the roof top common area with day beds and lounges. Two outdoor spas, yoga studio, gym, BBQ and dinning space. The lobby has a library, meeting room. Level B3 has a wine room ( BYO wine). Underground carpark, workstation, carwash area and bike storage room.

Important Note: Due to Body Corp restrictions we can not place a key safe at this property. Keys must be collected and returned to a key safe at a property approximately 4.8km away. The address for key collection is given with the check in instructions.
