- "Beautiful property! We stayed during an historic heat wave and the air conditioning held up wonderfully, which is not always the case with Italian rental properties. Plenty of space for six people and having access to a large TV with Netflix was huge! They were very accommodating with our last-minute early arrival and met us at the dock to lead us to the property. The freezer was super effective and had no problem churning out ice, which as an American I have always found frustratingly lacking in Europe. We brought our own ice trays and left them there... hopefully they make them available to future guests! The only cons that I can think of are: -The hike to the villa is not for the faint of heart. The heat didn't help, but there is no option but to walk up a mountain on a relatively steep path. My kids and I did fine with it, but my in-laws who are in their mid-60's struggled and it become a bit prohibitive of them freely going down to town. Would probably not have been as big of a deal had it not been for the aforementioned heat wave. -The sea area was great, but we did not find it to be "private" as was stated in the description. It's a small rocky area at the bottom of some stairs, but there were routinely other people in the area when we went down. I'm not sure where they were coming from, but it definitely seemed like more of a shared space. It wasn't a huge deal though, there was plenty of ocean for everyone!"

- "We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment that is full of character and in an ideal location in a ischia Ponte. It has a balcony overlooking the sea with views of the castle and terrace at other side. It is clean and well equipped, the bed is comfortable and it’s worth the 67 steps to get to it but a struggle with luggage. The bathroom is a bit old fashioned and could do with an update but we still loved it. Kettle smells of burnt plastic when used. Extra charges are off-putting."

- "There was a lot of space in this room! There was a queen bed and two twin beds. Lots of windows, a private patio, a large bathroom, and a great location near the castle. We loved our time here. There was also a fridge in the room which was great to store our own drinks, yoghurts, etc. The Vigna Rooms are off of the main road in Ischia Ponte (next to Delia's Dress Shop, up a little hill), well situated for many restaurants, shops, the castle, the beach and the bus stop - No. 7 goes to and from the main bus station at Ischia Port (but not between 11am and 1pm!) Daniela kindly lent us some beach towels and both she and all her staff were charming and engaging, we felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and stay here again."

The owner, whilst not on site, responded immediately to any messages and was extremely welcoming. We have been coming to Ischia for over 40 years and will certainly use the apartment again.
