10 minutes walk from the village of Ischia Ponte and the Aragonese Castle built in 15th century. 5 minutes by taxi from the port where hydrofoils and ferries connect Ischia to Naples, 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket, local bus stop right outside the street in order to reach the rest of Ischia's attractions: Epomeo, Forio, the botanical garden of Mortelle , Negombo thermal park etc.

The cottage itself is utterly charming, with both heating and air-con and great shutters for black-out and strong windows that reduce noise. There was foodstuffs left for us in the kitchen - thank you, and mosquito stuff too (which we needed). As a tea-drinker, I would have appreciated a kettle, but otherwise the kitchen was fantastically well-equipped. Piero had left us great information on local transport and the house and the area. You reach the sea by several flights of stairs - there's a concrete platform by the sea (the lawn is down there too). And a cabin with sun-loungers, lilos and toys in. Even in late October we swam in the sea which is clear. You can easily swim out to the Sant Anna rocks and our daughter set out to climb them. The cottage is best in sunny weather and perfectly set up for meals on the terrace (the only dining area). The kitchen is in an adjoining building that opens out onto the terrace and is a few steps away from the door of the main cottage. The one day we had rain, we felt this as a disadvantage. And by October the steps to the sea have been taken down and the neighbouring hotel is dismantling its wooden jetties and doing its end-of-season rebuilding. None of this would be an issue in the summer. The bus stop is immediately outside the house entrance. "

- "On arrival we (My Mother and I) were warmly greeted by Francessca and shown around this centrally located apartment. The apartment was spotless and the linens were snow white and inviting. The apartment was fully equipped with all one could need for your holiday, even a washing machine, we stayed for just under 2 weeks. Francessca went abroad after a few days and her partner Celestino became the most informative person we had met, he went beyond the call of duty with daily advice, maps, chats and even some fantastic homegrown treats! Celestino was so kind as to take us to a festival that was happening on the other side of the island one evening which was quite spectacular, watching the boats come in and the most amazing display of fireworks from his brothers mountainside restaurant, something we never would have known about had it not been for him. The apartment has a bus stop outside the front gate, the port is a short walk away and beaches within a couple of minutes. There is also a large supermarket 5 minutes down the road. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone of any age (only 3 steps at the front door) The hospitality of the owners is unsurpassed! I shall return! The villa is surrounded by about 900 square meters of fenced garden, planted with palm trees, cypresses, cycads, bougainvillea, hibiscus and Mediterranean shrubs. The garden is spread over two main terraces with sea view. Flowering flower beds and rocky lava stone corners frame the pool area and patio. The ground-floor patio is furnished with a dining table and lounge area. Next to the pool is a wrought-iron gazebo with ceramic table. Parking is available outside the entrance gate, along the street, with restricted access via electric chain. N.B.: Please note that the photo shoots are usually carried out in spring, so the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns and parks may be different when you enter the villa.
Pool:
The pool is located next to the villa, on a terrace overlooking the sea; rectangular in shape, measuring 13 x 4 meters with a depth varying from 1 to 2 meters; covered in clear PVC; access by steps; chlorine purification; interior and perimeter lighting. The solarium is furnished with sun loungers, tables and a cold water shower. The wrought-iron gazebo houses a handcrafted lava stone table with Vietri ceramic inlays. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the last Saturday in October.
