The kitchen had everything I needed to make meals for my family. The living room had two cozy sofas with soft / fluffy blankets. The beds were extremely comfortable. The outdoor seating was a nice touch. There were fresh flowers in the rooms, unicorn sheets for my daughters and a solar system night light. The owner when out of her way to make us feel welcome and was very responsive. The town was a slice of heaven. Great shops and restaurants. Cedarburg is a city located in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. It’s situated approximately 20 miles (32 kilometers) north of Milwaukee and is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The city was originally named in honor of the abundance of cedar trees along Cedar Creek, which contributed to the town's early growth and prosperity, as the creek provided a source of power for the mills that were established in the area.

Founded in 1845 by Irish immigrant Patrick Tierney and German immigrant Frederick Hilgen, the city was primarily settled by German immigrants. Cedarburg has managed to preserve its historic buildings and architecture, attracting visitors who appreciate its nostalgic appeal.
