Well when we checked into the Sunset Plaza we were more than delighted with the size and comfort of the apartment. With two swimming pools to choose from it catered for all, young and old. The staff are amazing, you are always greeted by a friendly smile and nothing is a bother for them. We spent a lot of time on the balcony absorbing the fantastic ocean views and with the beach so close it was ideal for that morning dip in the ocean. The only negative comment if it is negative is that the driveway up to the Sunset Plaza if quiet steep. We walked up that driveway every day, good for losing weight but a killer if you are walking up it after a big meal. Over all our 8 day stay at the Sunset Plaza was extremely enjoyable and we are looking forward to coming back to it again next year. Thanking you all in advance Tony King "

When it finally came the next day, they left it outside the door without knocking or letting us know. They wouldn’t bring more paper towels and kept saying we had to pay if we want clean towels. Which isn’t what we asked for, but is also crazy. You have to pay for clean towels no matter how long you stay? They told me to “pay attention” to their previous message and check the listing (it’s not in the listing). We had to set an appointment for our check out - because they have to check the electric gauge and see how much you owe them if you went over your daily allowance of juice. We waited a full hour and they never showed so we left. They are supposed to take a deposit; Thankfully they forgot for us because we couldn’t wait around any longer. When I told them that no one came, they said they would “waive my electric fee”. We had none, as we didn’t get close to going over the allowance. We checked the gauge every day. All around awful experience with these people. "

- "Group of 8 20 year olds stayed here for 6 nights with 6 rooms. The rooms were extremely clean and cleaned again every day. Our stay felt very secure and we were able to come and ago as we pleased. There was some confusement with payment as we payed/booked through hotels.com and there was a delay with Dydi receiving this money. However the whole situation was dealt with calmly and smoothly. The 7/11 across the road was great and the area has many little restaurants to eat at. Would definitely recommend to others. As we went out at night a lot and drank in the rooms beforehand dydi just asked us to do so in the room furthest from him and his family and we had no complaints about noise or mess or anything. Also the massage parlour below is named "beejay massage" and is exactly as implies. The major downfall was the beds felt like concrete but otherwise it was excellent!"
