The positive is that the grounds are beautiful, you feel close to natural, and the views are amazing. - " Excellent " - "We loved the paradox resort, yes we agreed with some of the reviews it’s a little older in style but honestly we thought it was amazing for the money. The welcome was great and they extended our stay to allow for a late checkout on our last day. Room service was brilliant the food was fab and the drinks from the pool bar were of a high quality. The front has cafes and restaurants out there and it’s a 5 minute walk to the temple. The back takes you out onto the beach area which is really busy with lots of choice. In all a great place and I know they are in the process of updating it so we will be back!!"

- "We are really pleased with our experience at Amari Phuket. This is a huge resort spread over a large hilly area. This means that rooms are located on hills and it is not easy to stroll upto your room. You need a transport and it is provided by the hotel. We never had to wait very long for transport inside the resort. The resort is really beautiful. It is located just at the end of the main patong beach area and well secluded from traffic. The views from the room are excellent. Within the resort there is a small private beach. A jetty with a restaurant, seaside restaurant for the breakfast and other meals and a sea side bar. Plenty of facilities including a tailoring shop. We had a great time. You can relax a lot in this resort. They also lookafter you after you checkout by prividing lockers and rest room facilities until you are ready to leave. Staff work extremely hard to do things for you. They never say no. Just to be mindful that english is not there first language and there can sometimes communication challenges but they do their best. We feel it was great value for our money. Infact it exceeded our expectations. We will be happy to stay here again. "
