- "We spent ten wonderfull days at the Anantara Rasananda. They picked us up at Samui airport for the boat trip to the resort in Koh Phangan. A cool drink was provided at the departure lounge prior to boarding. On arrival we checked in and were amazed at the size, elegance and position of our beach front pool suite, we could not of been happier. The resort is very quiet and each of the units very private, ideal for couples. There is an opportunity to meet other guests at breakfast time or dinner, or during a poolside drink at the bar. All meals are prepared and served with the ideal of providing guests with an enjoyable experience. The staff looked after us as if we were family, every request was welcomed with a smile and a promptness that impressed us. Thanks again for a wonderful time."

The Burger shack across the street is unbelievably DELICIOUS! It is undoubtedly the best hotel on this beautiful beach. We stayed in a recently renovated building, where everything was new and well-maintained. However, we found the room layout less than ideal. The entrance features a large glass door, and unless the curtains are fully closed, people walking in the corridor can see directly into the room—including the bed, which is positioned right in front of the door. The pool is fantastic and inviting, providing a refreshing break from the beach, which is just two meters away. The hotel’s restaurant is also a highlight, offering delicious food at reasonable prices, with a breathtaking beachfront setting. The staff is polite and responsive, though the level of service lacks the pampering touch we have come to expect in Thailand."
