- " Excellent " - "We loved the paradox resort, yes we agreed with some of the reviews it’s a little older in style but honestly we thought it was amazing for the money. The welcome was great and they extended our stay to allow for a late checkout on our last day. Room service was brilliant the food was fab and the drinks from the pool bar were of a high quality. The front has cafes and restaurants out there and it’s a 5 minute walk to the temple. The back takes you out onto the beach area which is really busy with lots of choice. In all a great place and I know they are in the process of updating it so we will be back!!"

- "Beautiful hotel (stayed in a private bungalow with pool access for context). Pool in that area is picturesque, rooms are well appointed and very well maintained. Only thing I would offer as feedback is to try to orient large families with kids away from the more private sections of the hotel- end of stay we had a loud family right across the pool from our room waking up at 8am and screaming… not the hotel’s fault but maybe something to take into consideration as able as where guests are placed. Overall was a great stay and very easy access to the town and beach "

There's no hassle for tips like on some of the other hotels. It seems like Peach Blossom may be a bit newer and nicer, but our room on the Peach Hill property was great and had all the amenities most folks on holiday would want. If walking distance to a nice beach and a moderate amount of shops/restaurants is what you are looking for, I definitely would recommend this property, If you are looking for a super quite/exlusive/private beach experience, I am sure there are some pricey option. But for the money, this was a great deal. We really appreciated help with booking some activities (where our own efforts were not working out)."

- "Excellent " - "This was a great hotel. Recommended to us by my sister in law it was everything she had experienced 3 years before. Good location, nice staff, well maintained good for couples or families. A 10 minute walk to the beach/shuttle available too, the villa style of rooms in a well manicured garden setting left you feeling part of a small community without being on top of everyone. The rooms were spacious with their own deck and the pool was smaller but lovely, again surrounded by greenery and including a small swim up bar. The beach and it's touristy assets were just far enough away that you could visit and then retreat up the hill. There are no hotels on the beach as in Mexico so you're not missing out on direct beach access. We took our teenage son and their was plenty of room for the three of us in the villa. I would definitely go back if we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again."

- "From the check-in process which included a complimentary beverage, to the pool right outside of our room, to the breakfast buffet, everything at this hotel was extraordinary. It's enough off the beaten path that it's not incessantly noisy, but it's also a short walk to the food stands, great restaurants and the beach. When we had difficulty securing a ride to the airport on January 1st, the hotel staff went above and beyond and personally drove us to the airport for the same price as the cab would have been. - "if you are looking for a true place for a health retreat you can only enjoy and appreciate this resort." - "The best relaxing way to finish up our trip before the long flight back home. My concern with booking a night in the Rawai area to check it out. was that it would be too dirty of any area and have limited things to do. However, the Mangosteen, was just far enough at about a 10 minute walk from the busy street area to be a pleasant oasis of peace, and yet walkable to everything we wanted such as interesting restaurants and street shopping and things to do. The rawaii area is similar to the canguu area in Bali which is what my research found beforehand and I can verify was true. A lot of character with healthy restaurants and where many of the Americans and Europeans go to live. We walked to the nearby restaurant Red Duck for the best Thai food we had on our trip there and took the free shuttle bus to the Nai harn beach nearby for an additional half-day of swimming and shopping. We also took a 25 minute taxi ride to the Sunday walking market in old Phuket town and a five minute taxi ride to Rawai Beach for shopping and massages, as well as a 10 minute taxi ride to Rawai seafood market, where are you get to pick live seafood for them to cook at the restaurant across the street. The resort staff and food were amazingly nice and friendly and professional and always around whenever we needed them. There was absolutely no pressure to tip but whenever we did they gave a reaction of sincere appreciation which was nice, so don’t forget to tip a little something to their staff baggage"
