Staff was friendly, always said Sawadee when seeing you. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with selection of food and tasty breakfast. Aonny, the breakfast restaurant manager, and other restaurant staff were always welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel offers a half day tour that we took advantage of and our guide, Paech was extremely knowledgable and informative as he took us around to the the big Buddha, Fisherman Market and local temples. Breakfast had a great variety and the fire show in the evening was a must to see. The head Chef holds a cooking class which we went along to where we had the opportunity to cook four (4) dishes and be guided by the talented Chef Ken. I would highly recommend doing this to all guests for the culinery experience. The Melati is a must for all visitors travelling to Koh Samui, easily 10/10"

To be met on arrival by familiar faces (Chin, thank you for making our visit so special) and as everyone mentions, all of the staff are so amazing, helpful and brilliant. We just wanted to relax and enjoy the great location, the beautifully maintained gardens, and the pool/beach area. Across the hotel, it is so easy to fall into the relaxed vibe, ably helped by the amazing Zee and the pool bar team, and of course Gift and Beam covering breakfast. A special mention has to go to the 4pm cocktails on the beach - there is no better way of starting the evening in such beautiful surroundings! We split our stay between the deluxe rooms and a beachfront villa, and whilst the deluxe rooms are really good, the view from the sea front villa was simply breathtaking. Thank you team Renaissance for giving us a perfect holiday!"
