- "We chose to celebrate our 11th anniversary at Silavadee Resort. We were glad that we stayed here. The service was excellent. I could not think of anything Sri complain. Staff was friendly, always said Sawadee when seeing you. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with selection of food and tasty breakfast. Aonny, the breakfast restaurant manager, and other restaurant staff were always welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The house keeping staff worked tirelessly to clean the room in the morning and do turndown service in the evening. I think it was a nice touch. The two infinity pools had amazing ocean views. We booked in for the traditional Thai banquet which included Thai dancing and a Thai Boxing exhibition. Great night along with beautiful food. The hotel offers a half day tour that we took advantage of and our guide, Paech was extremely knowledgable and informative as he took us around to the the big Buddha, Fisherman Market and local temples. Breakfast had a great variety and the fire show in the evening was a must to see. The head Chef holds a cooking class which we went along to where we had the opportunity to cook four (4) dishes and be guided by the talented Chef Ken. I would highly recommend doing this to all guests for the culinery experience. The Melati is a must for all visitors travelling to Koh Samui, easily 10/10"

Across the hotel, it is so easy to fall into the relaxed vibe, ably helped by the amazing Zee and the pool bar team, and of course Gift and Beam covering breakfast. A special mention has to go to the 4pm cocktails on the beach - there is no better way of starting the evening in such beautiful surroundings! We split our stay between the deluxe rooms and a beachfront villa, and whilst the deluxe rooms are really good, the view from the sea front villa was simply breathtaking. 🌿 Important Notes About the Family Room

Our Family Room has been thoughtfully converted from the former spa treatment rooms. Its layout and style may differ from a typical hotel room. While not luxurious, it offers a simple and convenient space, well-suited for families with children or guests seeking a local beachside escape.

No view: Windows are curtained and may feel enclosed.

Bathroom window faces a walkway: Privacy curtains are provided.

Lower-ground feel: Some guests find the room less bright.

Tropical setting: You may see small animals like geckos - common on the island.

Proximity to Thai massage shop: Some morning noise may occur. The staff are kind and happy to lower their volume upon request.

Humidity: During the rainy season or after many days of use, the room may feel humid. We suggest occasionally opening the door for fresh air.

Two shower rooms and two toilets are located inside the room. Please note that one toilet was newly added in place of a steam room, and may sometimes clog or produce a slight odor after extended use.

An extra outdoor toilet is also available just behind the Family Room, accessible through the side door for convenience.

Housekeeping access: Behind the Family Room is our staff housekeeping area. From time to time, our housekeeping team may pass the side walkway next to the Family Room as part of their routine duties.

Simple furnishings: The room is basic in design and not intended for guests seeking high-end finishes.

Our family rooms are simply designed to provide a warm and comfortable stay, especially for families with kids.

The family room is close to a Thai massage shop. There may be noise in the morning when they prepare for the event, but all massage therapists are friendly and you can ask to reduce the noise at any time.

Some of you may feel that the room is damp. We recommend opening the door from time to time to allow better air circulation.
