- "Initial impression not good in need of some maintenance. Room appeared to be clean, but house keeping only cleans the obvious don't look under the bed. Large room comfortable firm bed. Balcony nice once floor had been cleaned. AC worked well, shower but no shower stall, plenty of hot water. It served it's purpose. Should I return I would look for other venue. Fair price." - "Vey nice " - "Due to Covid the area and places around the hotel are out of business. The price was good and rooms are big with balcony. Internet speed is also fast. The down side is I believe management trying to save money doesn’t clean the rooms. We left our trash for 4 days before check out and no one picked it up. There ended up being over 9-10 bags of trash, room service was never seen. The ladies that help out don’t actually work at the building but at a pharmacy down the road and from my understanding the building is owned by the chain of pharmacies. I don’t blame them for stores being closed because that’s obviously not their fault and I believe in the coming months things should go back to normal as Thailand is opening it’s borders. If they can just hire a cleaning person who would change the sheets, give toilet paper, new clean towels and take away trash this place would be great."

- "We looked after very well the staff where very good " - "I stayed at PK for 7 days. Upon arriving I was able to check in early which was great. I had the whole top floor to myself which included a private bedroom with a queen and twin bed and A/C plus a door with a lock. Also included was a large living room area with seating, a couch, fridge and massive tv as well as the bathroom which included body wash and shampoo. Everything was in great condition anf very pricey and was very clean. They take very good care of this place. The location is great, right beside 7/11 and a pharmacy and right across from a beach and money conversion shop ATM. A bar downstairs too. Tons of restaurants everywhere as well. Everything I needed was in walking distance. Oh! And no need to walk and find a place to do your laundry because they’ll do it here for a very very reasonable price. Saving the best for last, the employees were so helpful and friendly, especially the owner. I felt truly welcomed and accommodated and would stay here again 100 times over without hesitation:) Thank you to everyone at PK truly some of the best customer service I’ve had I wish you all well !! Our resort is in a great location, right between Fisherman's Village and Bangrak beach. It's a great part of the island to be on because you're only minutes from everything but it's still a nice quiet spot.

There's a nice walking/fishing beach right across the street and the best swimming beaches are only minutes away (see the list below).

- "We booked our holiday a long way in advance and we were in continual contact with our host maxim. He was very attentive and arranged for our airport pick up and drop off free of charge. Which was really nice. The house was nice clean with all mod cons. But the data lite only had 1/2 English speaking channels. But that was quite good in the end as the kids had to talk and play board games. As a host maxim was very attentive and responsive. He organised car hire for us, which was at a good price, he advised us on where to go and prices. This made the holiday really fun. Also when we had a broken toilet seat, he was around traight away to fix it. Maids came in every few day to clean and change towels which was nice. The only slight down side is that the closet beach. Our end of the beach wasn't the best for swimming, but a short 10 min walk or 2 min drive it was really nice. We spent a lot of time at the ivy. Although a little more expensive than other bars but the service, food and drinks were great. We spent 3 weeks here and really enjoyed exploring the island. A car was a must for us and the island is very easy to get around. The host was fantastic and I would highly recommend staying here."

- "The apartment was a good fit for our family of four - the beds were comfy, it's well-lit with sunshine, the small kitchen was well-equipped for cooking simple meals for our kids, and the air conditioning blew cold. While the corner couch and coffee table were comfortable, and there are two 'laptop desks' with chairs, note that this unit does not have a kitchen table with chairs. Check-in and check-out were easy, the host remained reachable throughout our stay, and staff at the complex were friendly and helpful. The roof top and pool were refreshing. Parking is under the building so our car remained cool in the shade. The apartment is in a great spot. It's walkable to several things yet its location is rather quiet and private. A short walk down the road is a small family owned shop where you can buy bottled water, snacks, & try local food. A bit further down there is a compound with temples and a huge statue of a monk. Walk a smidge further, and right on 'ring road' there is a legit (yummy) bakery (King of Bread), as well as a small convenience store. If you're willing and able, Fishermen's Village is walkable as well, about 1km away."

- "Great unit, everything you need, nice people, very helpful, the view from the pool area is awesome but had we known about three or four things that they don't tell you, we may not have booked. The location, the water , the electricity: The location is not on a beach but up the side of a mountain. Great view, but difficult to walk down and (almost) impossible to walk up. Even on a motor bike ( popular mode of transportation) it's tricky. Tuk Tuks can't climb the hill, so you get dropped off at the bottom. Taxis charge a 100 BT surcharge on top of their 200 BT minimum to come and get you, and another 300 BT to get back home. That's $27 CDN each trip to town , the beach, the laundry, the market etc and they're only 5 minutes away. The water comes from a natural spring and is very high in mineral content. This makes it unsafe for drinking, which is not unusual, but it will discolor your clothes if you try and wash them. Paying for laundry service or buying more water is an extra cost (and hassle) that we didn't anticipate. They meter the electricity for each unit and ask for a hefty cash deposit when you arrive which we didn't expect. The A/C is the big user of electricity but, because there are no screens on the windows or sliding doors, you cant keep them open in the late afternoon or evening to let the nice breeze keep the unit suitable for sleeping. Another cost and frustration that we didn't expect. We did enjoy our stay there. It was very clean, well maintained and the view, along with the peace and quiet of a remote location, made it a very relaxing stay. "
