- "Chose Studios Belvi for location: easy walk from Kotor's main bus station:10 min with luggage! inside historic Old City walls. It was even easier to find that we expected: walked in the Gurdic Gate & in two minutes in front of Studios Belvi's green shutters. We sent a message via Hotels to the host letting him know when to expect us BUT the bus was late (slow border crossing from Croatia) so we arrived at 8:45 instead of 8:15 yet the host Radonga was there waiting to help with luggage. We had hesitated about booking because pix showed two beds: but the host, seeing we're a couple, offered a unit with a brand new large bed! Perfect. The unit we got was on the first level up, which means a set of stairs from the street & another inside the building- not hard to navigate but nice that we had the host's help! In fact, we'd say that the three best things about Studios Belvi are: (1) Location (2) Host (3) Value. The unit's small, kitchen tiny: we only wanted it for the frig & making tea & coffee so it was fine.(Has everything you need to make meals: we just enjoyed eating out in Kotor.) A real closet with plenty of space, shutters to block out light & noise, slept very soundly. Radonga gave us info about options for tourism & at our request met with us our first morning to talk about those. His suggestions were all excellent: first rate boat excursion & restaurants. Studios Belvi top uni is the best (may take it next time!) & host has another bldg with upscale apts @ Kotor Beach."

- " Good place to stay nearby Kotor with 10 min walk. Place run by a nice family with friendly dog Ice. We had the green room at the top with a lovely view over Kotor bay. Every day a new crousingship docks the bay. Fun to watch. Room is small but works for two people, you share the tarrace with room next door but there are separated with some privacy. Free parking is great (expensive in Montenegro). Wifi best ever bad. 150 mbit down. AC works nice and comfortable beds. All great with this stay. We can recommend it."

Go further toward old Town then what google map says. We walk to bakery just behind thru alleyway walkway up to the main roadway. We were there during May Day vacation, so it’s crowder than usual but still quiet where we are. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and it has all of the amenities you could need on your stay! The only thing is that expedia has advertised as being in the city centre which isn’t true, our host was very apologetic and went above and beyond to make sure we were aware of the bus times, locations etc. Personally for us, the distance between the apartment and the city centre didn’t bother us at all and we really enjoyed the bus ride and experiencing it made our stay better! The bus is very cheap and only costs €3 for 2 people into the centre.
