- "Excellent location very safe and close to supermarket." - "Amazing stay, we chose this location solely based on its proximity to my aunt’s condo and the stay was for 2 weeks. It far exceeded my expectations. The rooms had ample closet space, and was a fully furnished two bedroom two bathroom apartment. The owner fully stocked the kitchen with dishes, utensils, appliances, and came with laundry washer and dryer AND someone came to clean a few times a week which is a huge deal if you’re staying for two weeks like I did. We stayed here with my husband, toddler, and mother and the space was perfect for 4 and very toddler friendly. It’s actually a little larger than the average apt in Miraflores for 2b/2br because the layout is better because it doesn’t include the antiquated maid’s room. I felt very safe there, we had the whole floor to ourselves- no other apt on that floor, has a view of the playground which my toddler LOVED and has a doorman. Overall will 100% book again when I return to visit."

The air conditioner didn’t work (looked like it hadn’t worked for a long time), so we needed to keep the windows open to stay cool, unfortunately that meant a good bit of sirens, car alarms, etc.,, every night. In a 3 night stay never had a shower warmer than body temperature and had to reach out to the management company a couple times to get clean towels / toilet paper. - "I arrived just after midnight after a very long trip (over 8 hours). When I arrived nobody was there to meet me, and no prior communication was made After I called the contact number listed, they told me that my room was not ready because of some water damage issue. In fact they canceled my reservation without even informing me prior to my arrival. Around 1:00 AM (My wife and I are very tired, we do not speak Spanish, and this is our first visit to Peru) the lady said she reserved another room for us, but not in the same location, about 10 minutes away. When we arrived there the replacement apartment looked like somebody’s local house. the apartment was smelly, with dirty sheets, and partially in disrepair. Absolutely nothing like the luxury apartment I booked with Hotel.com I was very upset, I told them I would leave in the morning (in a few hours, since it was very late and not able to make other last minutes arrangement) I asked for a full refund, but they refused even though it was totally their fault. They only agreed to reimburse 75% of my pre paid booking, under the pretext that they provided a replacement. I was very disappointed, I felt abused for all the hassle they caused me and my wife, and felt robbed. If they had replaced my canceled apartment with something comparable at least I would understand, but not being compensated for their mistake and charging full fare for a night at a sub-par replacement felt insulting. The apartment was worn down, our kids were not allowed to use the pool, we did not get enough towels for the family of 5, the elevator broke down several times. The location was amazing though.
