Situated across the dunes of the Sunshine Coast's best kept secret, the pristine Marcoola Beach, the Surf Club Apartments take the prime position on the Marcoola Esplanade. The esplanade itself is located in the residential part of Marcoola, away from the high rise buildings and main highway of the town centre. Public transport is frequent and a two minute stroll away, with buses able to take you south to Maroochydore or north to Noosa - so you can leave your car behind!

The complex has three floors, with Apartment 24 located up just one flight of stairs, and directly across a quiet street from the beach (literally 150 steps to the sand!) and to a well appointed playground.

This is a perfect location for a family holiday, or a quiet and romantic getaway.

With the Marcoola Surf Club across the road, the patrolled Marcoola Beach provides a safe place to swim in the ocean, and afterwards, you can go upstairs to listen to some live music or enjoy a drink and a meal, with options ranging from spectacular seafood, to burgers, pizza, steak and chips.

The apartment sleeps four, with a queen bed and two single beds.
It has been fully refurbished for a family, featuring a lounge room nook, a reading area for the adults, a dining area, two bathrooms and a full sized washing machine in the laundry. Ceiling fans are in every room to keep the ocean breeze moving through.

Although there are many restaurants in the area to choose from, but the fully appointed kitchen will also mean that you can happily eat at home with both Woolworths and Coles delivering to your door. A coffee machine is also provided with pods so you can take your time in the mornings.

This is not your usual apartment with uncomfortable furniture and ugly prints - the original art celebrates the region, and whilst the decor is stylish, it is also extremely comfortable and functional and you will find there is everything that you need to enjoy your family stay.

* foam surfboards X2 to tempt you to test your skills on the water;
* a boogy board is provided for fun in the white water;

And if you want to take a break from the sun and sand, books and board games will make staying in fun for the family too. There is even a blue ray player and a selection of movies, which can also be hired from the newsagent 200 metres away.

The balcony has a BBQ, table where you can watch people go by, and a large hammock. From the hammock you are not visible to the street but can still can hear the ocean and see the stars - which is a really nice way to spend a summer night under solar lights.

The complex has two swimming pools, with one right below the balcony, so you can sip a coffee on the veranda whilst still keeping an eye on older children. Pool noodles and balls will keep them interested in the water!

On Friday nights, a two minute walk will take you to "Foodies" Eat Street Markets (a must do!) and to the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. Breakfast, coffee, restaurants and a convenience store are also just a minute's walk away! A picnic blanket and set is available to be borrowed if you want to join the rest of the locals in the parkland across the road on Friday nights. Literally just across the road is the Marcoola surf club, with dining, pokies, raffles, live music and a bar. There are also video game consoles for the kids and uninterrupted views of the ocean.

And as for the beach ... you will not find better!! You can take an uninterrupted walk along the sand for six kilometres to the north and ten kilometres to the south from your beach entry. On a busy day, you might see 30 people along the beach stretch ... so if you are looking for hustle and bustle, this is not the place for you! Height restrictions in the area mean that from the beach you can not see buildings or have their shaddows. The water is warm, year round and there are so, so many seashells!! The beach is flagged with lifeguards for your safety. If you are lucky, sometimes, even whales and dolphins can be spotted playing off shore and fishing from the sand will let you catch huge fish from the pristine and healthy ocean environment. A stroll along the beach can also take you to a number of lookouts which provide amazing photo opportunities. Keep your eyes out for the black cockatoos and sea eagles that nest nearby, and the resident brush turkeys that think they are pets.

So, whether you would like to set up camp and relax and explore on foot, or travel around to experience all the Sunshine Coast has to offer, this is a nice base for your adventure.

Marcoola Beach is located just eight minutes drive to Coolum's restaurants and golf courses; and 20 minutes to Hastings Street, Noosa. If you are flying in, it is only an eight minute drive from the airport to the apartment, or if driving, off street car parking is available.

Mount Coolum National Park is a 5 min drive. The walk to the top of the mountain is 800 metres long. Depending on how fast you travel it should take no longer than one hour to reach the top and return to the bottom. Once at the top the 360 degree view over the Sunshine Coast is simply stunning!

Ideally located in a small 2 story building with only 4 other units this retreat contains one main bedroom with a queen bed, a loft which contains two single beds (accessible via a ladder only) and a lounge area with a double fold-out sofa bed.

The apartment is for a maximum of 4 guests, you have the option of choosing between the loft and the fold out sofa.

There is ground floor covered parking for one vehicle with entry from Petrie Avenue, our spot is marked with a silver number 3 above the carpark, extra car parking is available on the roadside in front of the apartment building.

The apartment is on the second floor and is accessed by taking the stairs in the shared courtyard. There is a lock box with your keys at the apartment front door. You will be sent the code to the lock box prior to your arrival.

The bathroom has a shower, vanity & toilet.

The building has a laundry for your use with a washing machine and dryer. This is a communal laundry and we do NOT supply laundry detergent.

The dining table seats 4 guests, as does the the table on the blacony.

We endeavour to keep the cleaning costs to the minimum fee therefore, tea, coffee, milk, 3 in 1 body wash and hair and 2 rolls of toilet paper (per toilet) are provided for a "start up" to your stay. Our unit is a great alternative to visit, if you prefer to avoid that busy resort accommodation!
The home is located in a lane way, so there are no views to speak of, however the apartment's close proximity to the beach, with no busy roads to cross, is what makes it so attractive.

Fully functional Kitchen, with ample cooking utensils & crockery.

Initial Start Provisions -Milk, Teabags , Coffee Bags, Coffee Pods, Sugar, Salt & Pepper, Cooking Spray, Paper Towel, Foil, Glad Wrap, Baking Paper, Fly Spray, Aeroguard, Toilet Roll, Soap & Shampoo are supplied. Once exhausted, you must replenish for your own use.

Our Cleaning Standards-
- Please note- check out must be no later than 10.00 am, to assist with our thorough cleaning schedule.
-All bed linen, towelling, including bed coverlets & comforters, are freshly laundered for each new booking, including one-night stays.
-All high touch surfaces, door handles, remotes, and switches are wiped clean with an antibacterial cleaner, then sprayed with a disinfectant spray ready for new guests.

Five minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. If you are feeling energetic, head down to the onsite gym for a quick session. Freshen up then head across the road for breakfast at one of the many alfresco eating venues and coffee shops , or take a short drive to Coolum, Noosa, or the amazing Eumundi Markets for lunch. Come back and relax on the manicured lawns by the massive pool or take a sixty second walk to the pristine Marcoola Beach.

This property is a studio apartment, a single room with ensuite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the Sunshine Coast Airport and the Glasshouse Mountains.

Other things to note
Whilst the space is for two adults, the space does not support seperate sleeping arrangements. There is no trundle bed available and the lounge does not fold out to another bed, it’s use as a bed is strictly prohibited. Tea and coffee facilities are provided, however, the use of any other cooking appliances is strictly prohibited. Any use of toasters, electric fry pans etc will set of the smoke alarms and fire sprinklers. This will result in the attendance of Fire Service and a fine upwards of $2000.00

Relax with the whole family in our peaceful home. We love hearing the ocean at night. The onsite management are a delightful family that live on site. Nothing is ever too much. The gym is there to work off any extra holiday calories and you have the pool to relax by all day with BBQ facilities to enjoy. The 15 person spa is set at 36 degrees year round which is great before bed and the beach is a 1 min walk. Kids can enjoy the skate park over the road and plant of restaurants and bars!

There is coffee machine to use if you would like to buy Aldi coffee pods.
The kitchen has a roving supply of basic condiments( salt, pepper, spices), usually has tomato and bbq sauce. Has al foil and cling wrap.
The basic essentials are provided to get you started on your stay, and after this you will have to replenish for the remainder of your stay.
There is a smart tv with Netflix.
Please note that the garage does store items for guests convenience such as beach chairs, a gazebo an esky etc. and a folded up table tennis for guests to enjoy during their stay. But because it’s a tight fit we prefer to park our car on the street which has direct access into our garden.
There are also 2 old scooters for the kids to use, but no riding on the complex driveway allowed.
