- "The lounges need replacing. So uncomfortable and grubby! Other than that, the unit has just enough to have a nice stay - minimal cooking equipment. The fridge had a broken (almost broken shelf, so it limited the amount we could use it. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. The parking is good being undercover, but can be quite tight when a few 4wd are parked. There can be noise from the driveway during the night and early morning. The balcony is great overlooking the pool and its a nice stroll to the beach or to town"

- "This is the perfect location, a short 2 minute drive to the town centre and beach, far enough away to feel like you're in the bush. Washer, dryer and good water pressure. Good size fridge and lovely outdoor area. The beds were not the most comfortable but they did the job. Little Parliament on the main strip is the best place for coffee and Signature Sourdough has THE BEST bread I've ever tasted! We will definitely return! The Cooloola Coast is stunning."

Internet is hit & miss especially on overcast rainy days!! Penalties for cleaning fees are a bit extreme like35 for not taking garbage out to the bin, takes 2 mins& and not unpacking dishwasher etc. we did do all the cleaning as required so not to sure what your cleaners do for the 4 hrs before check in time?? - "Initially we were disappointed that the unit did not overlook the ocean but then realised it was actually one of the best units to have - it overlooks the main street which always has activity happening but is not too noisy. Not being ocean front meant that we did not get the full on ocean wind. We did get afternoon sun on the front deck but it is one of the few apts that has a rear deck as well which we loved. Very convenient to all restaurants/bars and other conveniences as well as the beach. Security parking and secure complex - both easy to access. Nice pool. Apartment had everything we needed and the design was well thought out. The only negative we could find was that there was no iron and ironing board. We really enjoyed this stay and would not hesitate to recommend."

Rainbow Beach Resort (new name is Rainbow Shores Resort) is set in a tropical forest just a short walk from the world renowned beach. The apartment is on the ground floor which allows the family to flood out from the sunlit patio area into the resort and enjoy the many amenities including a tennis court, lap pool, lagoon pool, bbq areas and lawn areas for the kids to play. The apartment has a relaxed local beach feel and is decorated with personal touches from the local area.

The space
Playing cards, books, magazines, dvds and board games are in the apartment to ensure you have plenty of things to do while you relax and enjoy your adventure.

The apartment is ready immediately for you to relax. All linen provided, beds are made and bath towels included (probably best you bring your own beach towels). A few little extras are there to make your stay comfortable, so you don't need to run off straight to the shop such as coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil, etc

I do provide some basic kmart tennis racquets if you want a hit, but if you have better ones, best bring your own.

Together with the 25 metre lap pool and the wonderful newly resurfaced lagoon pool, the resort has installed during 2024 a new Heated Magnesium Plunge Pool in the lagoon pool area. It has been a great success and a huge hit with guests.

Kick back in this calm, relaxed space with all modern conveniences, like self check-in, air con, dishwasher, washer/dryer, 2 TVs, Wi-Fi, microwave etc.
The unit is in the Rainbow Shores resort which has a hot tub, two pools and tennis court. The beach is a short stroll away through the bush track.
If you like adventure you can get out an explore nearby Fraser Island or 4wd along the beach to Double Island Point.

Our apartment has just undergone a total refurbishment and has a lovely modern boho/beach feel to it. A local photographer has produced several local shots of the iconic Rainbow Beach dunes, along with the wild horses that live in the forests coming into Rainbow Beach which are displayed throughout the unit.
Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, our unit is on the corner of the block, which means it only has one adjoining apartment and feels more open and spacious.

Located in the heart of Rainbow Beach the Beach Loft is a modern apartment designed for couples. It is only a short walk to the local shopping precinct, patrolled beaches and beautiful bush walks. The Loft is self contained with free wifi, air con, BBQ area, kitchenette, continental b'fast & all linen provided.

The Rainbow Beach Loft is a private self contained apartment centrally located in the heart of Rainbow Beach only 5 mins walk from the patrolled surf beach and shopping precinct of Rainbow Beach. Guests at The Beach loft are provided with a continental breakfast which includes cereals, fresh fruit, milk, bread,tea/coffee, condiments, all linen, air con ,BBQ, free WIFI and kitchenette. The Beach Loft is designed for couples and has a lovely unique loft style bedroom with a super king sized bed and a spacious lounge/TV area.
The Beach Loft is nestled into bushland in a very quiet neighbourhood. We are centrally located to restaurants and quaint village style stores. Close by is the fabulous Carlo Sand Blow where you are able to have views of both Double Island point and west to the Sandy Strait and then on to heritage listed Fraser Island. Visitors to the Beach Loft have only a short drive to access the barges to Fraser Island, an unbelievable experience.
The Beach Loft is also close to bus pick up. The owners live on site so if you have any queries/requests they are more than happy to help guests out.
Hosts Justin & Jill have extensive knowledge of the local area (lived in Rainbow for 20yrs) and are happy to share their knowledge and tips to our guests. The Beach Loft complies with all local regulations and is registered with the local Regional Council.

Guest access
Guests have two private entrances to the Beach Loft. There is a private undercover car space provided with direct access to the Beach Loft. Guests have their own separate BBQ/outdoor area where you can relax after a day exploring Rainbow Beach. Guest are provided with their own key for access to The Beach Loft.

Other things to note
If arriving by bus let us know and we will try to pick you up from the bus stop (it's only 350m anyway). The Loft is a registered B&B and complies with all local Council Regulations. Guests travelling to Fraser Island are welcome to leave their vehicle at The Beach Loft at no charge if travelling on a tour (off street parking).

The second floor apartment has 2 bedrooms, a Queen in the master and 2 single in the 2nd bedroom (they can be put together to make a king). It also has a full kitchen, a smart TV for you to access your streaming accounts, unlimited wifi, and air conditioning. Relax on the outdoor lounge on the large deck overlooking the full size tennis court. To make our guests feel at home, we have equipped the apartment with board and card games and also some books for your reading pleasure. For the kiddies we have some sand toys, because the beach just isn’t complete without a sandcastle or two.

Take a peaceful dip in the lap pool or the lagoon pool or just relax in the hot tub. There is also a full size tennis court and a ping pong table if you’re needing to burn some energy. Down by the lagoon pool there are also BBQ’s for guest use.

Apartment is on the second floor so there is about 7-8 stairs to get access.

You have access to all the resort has to offer, as well as proximity to Rainbow's pristine beach a short walk away. It's the perfect hub for exploring the Great Sandy National Park, K'gari (Fraser Island) and coastal region.

The space
Our unit has a large, private balcony that overlooks the tropical garden. A perfect spot to relax with a drink, a good book, or casual snack.

This is a one-bedroom apartment which has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower. In the loungeroom, there is a click-clack couch that's the size of a small double bed. Bedding for the couch is in the cane box beside the couch.

For your comfort, there is air-conditioning in the main living area, as well as overhead fans in the lounge/dining area and bedroom.

Wi-Fi provided and smart TV.

For the cook, the kitchen has a microwave, cooktop, fridge and dishwasher, toaster, sandwich maker and electric jug.

Laundry facilities - washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.

Tennis rackets, table tennis bats and balls and pool/beach towels are provided.

You have the use of the entire apartment and resort facilities, including two huge swimming pools, spa, tennis court, table tennis and BBQ area.

Other things to note
Our unit is at the top of 3 short flights of stairs and there is no lift. In Australia the floors are named Ground, One and Two and our unit is on the second floor.

Walking into town takes about 25 minutes through forest. The path is concreted, but not lit, so we recommend taking a torch with you at nighttime. The Rainbow Beach Sports Club offers a courtesy bus to patrons. So, if you're arriving by bus, stop off at the Sports Club for a quiet ale, or snack, and take advantage of their bus service.

The beach is approximately 300 metres away and entails a walk through coastal bushland. Head down Wyvern Road, opposite the resort, cross the carpark at the end of the road and follow the path to the beach.

If you are driving, please protect your windscreen wipers from our marauding crows. They love to steel the rubbers.
