Then we took an evening walk up to the castle and had the unique experience of seeing the castle at night! Breathtaking! One of our favorite stays hands down!"

Casa de David studio has easy access for cars and parking. The room is an open space studio with ensuite bahroom, kichenette. There is a double bed and a separate fold out bed for a third guest. The house is located in Monsanto, one of the 12 Portuguese historic villages. The medieval village perches on the side of a rocky mountain offering never ending views of the surrounding countryside. Strolling around the village you will see some amazing sights of houses built into huge granite boulders left over from the ice age. On the top of the mountain you will find an impressive turreted castle to explore

The House itself is a centuries-old experience that takes us to another time and offers all the comfort you need to rest in a magical and totally out of the ordinary environment. The property has two floors, and is divided by a solid wood staircase.
