Y no sólo por el idioma. La falta de voluntad y empatía eran más que notorias. La única palabra que le interesó pronunciar en inglés es "money, money". Ah, y "passports". Que nos los cogió y no nos los quiso devolver. Tuve que insistir de forma rotunda, y con avisos de posible llamada a la policía. Trató de engañarnos un par de veces con el precio de la reserva. Obviamente, no coló. La factura la recibimos un día después desde una agencia, el propietario (una persona mayor sin empatía ni ganas de nada) no quería saber nada. Es evidente que alguien lleva el negocio y ellos (que viven ahí) se encargan (o no) de recibir a los invitados. Del apartamento mejor ni hablar. La sensación al entrar es que estábamos en la peor estancia de nuestra larga vida viajera (el peor de Croacia sin duda alguna). Todo sucio y dejado de la mano de Dios. Mala ventilación, olor a orina. Aparatos desconectados o que no funcionaban. Baño de asco: restos de suciedad por todos lados (espejos, inodoro, ducha...). Indescriptible el cuerpo que se te queda (y más en tiempos de Covid-19). No había ningún artículo de nada. Ni de baño, ni de cocina. Ni sillas. Ni mesillas. El jabón de manos tenía moho en el aplicador. No utilizamos nada del apartamento apenas. Ducharse fue una odisea, desinfectando previamente con todo lo que podíamos. Y dormir... pues no había otro remedio. De puro agotamiento. El horror convertido en apartamento. No se lo recomendaría ni a mi peor enemigo. El propietario continuamente apagando todo. Realmente cutre. Lo único bueno la ubicación. Pese a estar cerca de la D8 (principal), el acceso nos pareció sencillo. Huid como de la peste."

- "no comment" - "Sehr empfehlenswert!!! Podaca ist zwar kleiner, aber wunderschöner und geschichtsträchtiger Ort. Neben dem schönen Strand findet man hier eine Kirche aus dem fünfzehnten Jahrhundert und eine zerfallene Burg im Dorf der alten Podaca (entstanden im elften Jahrhundert). Hier öffnet sich ein gewaltiges Panorama auf das Meer, Horizont, Inseln und umliegende Städte, man hat die seltene Gelegenheit einige wunderschöne Fotos im Sonnenuntergang zu machen. In der naheliegenden Umgebung findet man auch per Auto allerlei interessante Ecken. zB. Natürliche Wasserquellen in Zaostrog oder Skywalk in der Nähe von Makarska(~45km Entfernung). Als fünfköpfige Familie haben wir in den Apartments der Villa Lucija sehr schone Tage verbracht. Die Räumlichkeiten und Sanitäranlagen waren sauber und gepflegt. Von der großzügigen Terrasse hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf die Berge und auf das Meer. Die sehr liebenswerte und aufgeschlossene Gastgeberfamilie hat uns nach einer langen Reise mit kühlen Getränken willkommen geheißen und uns bei allen Belangen während des Aufenthaltes mit nützlichen Informationen zur Eigenversorgung und Sehenswürdigkeiten aber auch mit tatkräftiger Hilfe unterstütz. Ein besonderer Dank an de Gastgeber gilt für die Organisation des Ausfluges nach Metkovic zum Tag des heiligen Ilja wo wir die traditionelle kroatische Bräuche und Küche mit erleben durften. The family house is located in the small, quiet coastal town of Podaca, about 35 kilometers south of Makarska. The house has a beautiful garden and a parking space behind the house. 2 apartments are rented in the main house. One has 1 separate bedroom with 3-4 sleep possibilities and a large terrace with sea view, the other 2 separate bedrooms, a nice balcony with sea view and a cooking possibility in the kitchen of the landlord. Next to the family house is another smaller house, with two separate apartments for 4-5 or 3 persons. The larger apartment is on the upper floor, the smaller studio on the ground floor. The small house was built only a few years ago and the apartments each have a separate entrance. Both houses are about 150 meters from the sea and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and the mountainous coastal landscape. The houses are located below the main street (Magistrale) at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and offer the guests of the house thus much peace and relative seclusion. In the village there is a tourist information, several good restaurants, many cafes and a nightclub. In 150m distance there is a supermarket and a bus stop. About 100 kilometers separate Podaca from Split, Dubrovnik Medjugorje or Mostar, making these cities ideal for day trips.
