Welcome to Marona, our luxury holiday rental apartment with lovely Marina views, a few minutes' stroll from Sant Feliu de Guixols, Costa Brava.

Imagine being in a modern, spacious, air conditioned, apartment with balcony views of the marina and within a five minute stroll of the beach...

And because it's not in a holiday development, the neighbours are not so noisy, care more about their surroundings and aren't so inclined to use the pool - leaving more time and space for you.

You can walk to the market every day for the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and, of course, fish. That's when you are not going for an early morning kayak, dive or swim...

Sant Feliu de Guixols is one of the nicest and best small towns on the Costa Brava. It is not a holiday resort, but a living Catalan town with the culture, the Catalan lifestyle, the shops and restaurants so admired by well-healed visitors from Barcelona. But, of course, the beach is beautiful, the bay stunning and the facilities for visitors second to none.

Marona is a spacious apartment in a residential block within walking distance of Sant Feliu de Guixols, the Marina, the beach and the whole of Sant Feliu. But because it is not in the centre of town, it provides a wonderful haven at the end of a busy day.

It is on the first floor of the two storey block and can be accessed by stairs or lift.

It is not in a 'holiday block' and therefore we are looking for guests who want a great, convivial time, but not a riotous one! By the same token, this means that, although very central, you are unlikely to be disturbed by many marauding holidaymakers despite being so close to the action.

Marona boasts a excellent living area (21 square metres) with a dining table that can accommodate six, two three seater sofas and an enormous French window off to a spacious balcony with views across the Marina to the left and the hills to the right.

We have recently acquired an electric 'plancha' or barbecue grill which is ideal for use on the balcony without running the risk of upsetting the neighbours!

It has two spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other which can either be a twin or a very comfy double, and ample storage. The master bedroom also has a large en suite bathroom.

There is also a family bathroom with shower.

The very well equipped kitchen is more spacious than most, with a breakfast table which can accommodate four cosily, the usual mod cons and a dishwasher. Off the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine.

The air conditioning and heating are quiet and efficient so Marona is ready for your visit at any time of year. The wifi is high speed and unlimited. The only thing we deliberately do not have is a TV because we are encouraging you to talk to each other and have fun together!

Underneath the block you have your own indoor parking space and access to the 12m swimming pool which forms the central space of the block.

You can stroll to the Sant Feliu beach in five minutes or wander along the coast the other way until you get to Platja Sant Pol which is the haunt of wealthy French and Spanish Riviera types (!).

Sant Feliu is teeming with things to do and places to see. If you like hiking or biking, Sant Feliu is ideal. If you want to explore Catalunya, what a base and if you are here for a rest then that's fine too!

It consists on a living room and a kitchen integrated and fully equiped with all necessary appliances for an ideal stay. In this room we find the sofa-bed. The main bedroom, wide and cozy, consists of a great bed and a big built-in wardrobe. The bathroom of the apartament features a showerplate. The space
Our apartment is located in the center of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, one of the few towns in the Costa Brava that has managed to retain its local identity. It is ideal for a family holiday or for a couple retreat. The extensive pedestrian area, with shops and restaurants, is less than 30 seconds away walking. The main beach is 3-5 minutes away walking. You can also walk to the amazing coves surrounding the town with some of the most spectacular views in the Mediterranean (30 minute walk). Our apartment is bright and modern, not crowded, with plenty of space to move around. It has two stories: the lower one consists of a large living room with a sofa/bed, a nice kitchen which also has a washing machine, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and another smaller one with bunk beds), a bathroom with shower. The upper one is a huge upper private terrace.

Guest access
You will have access to the whole apartment, including the elevator for the building.

Other things to note
Since our apartment is located right off the pedestrian center of town, getting to it by car is not easy. The apartment is on a narrow one-way street, so parking is not permitted there. We'll give your directions to get to the apartment so that you can unload your luggage. Our friend/apartment manager will meet you there and direct you to the closest free public parking area, which is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

Also, according to local regulations, a tourist tax of a total of 7 euros for every person over 16 years must be collected in cash at the end of your stay.

The apartment, 75m, semi-reformed, fully equipped and well distributed, with a large terrace, located on the edge of S'Agaró/Sant Feliu de Guíxols, minutes from the wonderful Playa de Sant Pol, with a multitude of leisure and fun options. The accommodation is located in a quiet, and perfectly maintained community, with beautiful views, with 2 outdoor pools (1 for the little ones). The space
• Apartment with ocean views, 2 bedrooms, living room with appliances, bathroom and large terrace with chill-out area. Equipped with TV, Wi-Fi, parking, 2 swimming pools, gym, garden, playground, ping pong, and foosball. An 11-minute walk to two beaches and charming coves such as Platja de Sant Pol, Platja Sa Conca, Cala Ametller, Cala del Peix or Sa Caleta. Platja d'Aro shopping area is a 7-minute drive.

• The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances: a countertop for cooking, mini oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, cutlery and crockery, dishwasher and cleaning products.

• The living room has a table with 4 chairs, a rug, a coffee table, a smart TV, and fast Wi-Fi.

• From the living room you can go out to a 20 m2 terrace with beautiful ocean views, a pine forest and the community panoramic pool. The terrace also has an outdoor wooden table with 4 chairs and a chill-out area with a small table and wicker armchairs.

It has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds. Both bedrooms have a closet.

The apartment is located within a Condominium/Resort that has the following common areas:

• Two swimming pools with panoramic ocean views. One for adults and one for children with a water slide. It has sun loungers that you can use freely.

• The Garden contains the two pools and a children's playground with a slide and swings.

• Parking has several community spaces where you can park your vehicle in covered or uncovered areas, depending on availability.

• The gym, which you can use whenever you want since you have a key. In July and August it is open without a key. It has all kinds of machines.

• A game room with a foosball table, ping pong table, and pool table.

• In August, activities are organized with monitors in common areas such as aquagym and ping-pong championships.

• Concierge service.

* For the beginning of the stay - You will find hand soap, bath gel, shampoo, 3 rolls of toilet paper, dishwashing soap, kitchen cloths/towels, kitchen paper, spices, coffee, tea, sugar, pots, pans, plates and glasses, cutlery and more utensils, clean sheets for each bed and the beds made, a cushion for each guest, blankets, a set of towels for each guest (one large and one smaller). For long stays or stays longer than a week, the apartment has spare sheets and towels.
