Stunning views of the sea. Enjoy its terrace outside the entrance, with calm environment

The old pension Tamariu, built in the 50s, was transformed into five small and nice apartments close to the beach and surrounded by nature and outdoor areas. They are very well located just 50-60 meters from the sea and very quiet, which is rare this close to the beach! We have done our best to make the apartments and its communal garden, cozy and comfortable spaces for those of you who wish to come visit Tamariu and explore the beautiful sights around.

An old stone staircase will lead you from the apartments directly to the beach and Passeig del Mar, the seafront boulevard, where we can enjoy many delicious typical food from the area.

In particular, this apartment is on the 2nd floor of the building, just 50 meters from the beach. It has SPECTACULAR views of the sea and the bay, and so much sunlight.
The kitchen is integrated in the dining area, with the living room next to it. You walk by the terrace to enter the apartment. The apartment has a queen size bedroom with a very large closet and a window that faces the terrace. The sofa-bed, located in the living room, is suitable for young people to sleep as it is queen sized.

The apartment is fully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It has a terrace for private use and a garden that is shared with the other apartments of the building. This apartment has sea views from the windows in the living area and it has much light and fresh air.

The garden is communitary and can be enjoyed by everybody, apart from the table placed next to the apartment on the lower floor.

The house is located in the best part of Tamariu, on the second row of houses from the sea, where tranquility reigns despite being a few steps from the beach. It's privileged garden makes it a unique place. The temperature is very pleasant in summer, thanks to the pine trees that separate it from the sea and provide some shade. At the entrance of the apartment there is a small cosy terrace area, ideal for reading outside in the fresh evening.

Tamariu:
Tamariu is an old beach town within Palafrugell’s Municipality, where until a few years ago fishing was the main activity. Over the years it has become a place of great tourist attraction, especially for its unique nature and coastline cliffs.
There are two supermarkets in Tamariu, ten restaurants and bars, a hairdresser, couple bakeries, a few boutiques where to buy utensils and beachwear stuff... There is also a diving center, a kayak rental place and a boat rental agency. On Saturday night, during the summer season, there are usually different types of music on the Boulevard. Music styles that go from "Havaneres" to "Disco" music. Bars and restaurants don't stay open until late. Tamariu is a place that is focussed on families. There is only one bar of La Riera that remains open until after 1 am.
Some great old traditions are still celebrated in town, such as celebrations like: Sta. Maria on August 15th, "sardinadas" or popular "garoinadas", Las Fiestas de Primavera de Palafrugell, La festa dels Indianos of Begur, Mercat Boig of Llafranc, etc ...

Transportation:
We recommend coming by car to Tamariu for your best convenience. In case you do, there is a very economical parking located in the pine forest when entering Tamariu.
A tourist tax of €1.10 per person per night is required, as well as a damage deposit (except for Airbnb bookings), not included in the rental price. These are payable through our Online Guest Portal.

If you wish to sleep separately, it is important to notify us when making the reservation; otherwise, you may incur additional costs during your stay.

The apartment has been renovated in 2017 and receives a beautiful interior decoration with all the necessary comfort to feel at home and spend a wonderful stay in one of the most beautiful coves of the Costa Brava. The beach at 150m is certified "Blue Flag" for the quality of its water and its services.

Mini markets and grocery stores, hotels, beachfront restaurants, bars, bakeries and other small shops are all within a 300m radius.

At 5km is the town of Palafrugell where there is a beautiful fruit / vegetable market, fish and meat every morning. Also there are hypermarkets, pharmacies, doctors, hospitals and other usual shops in the cities.

Located on the second floor of a small building, the apartment comprises an entrance hall, a living / dining room, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, one of which is expandable to a double bed, a hall at night, a bathroom and a super equipped kitchen giving access to a small rear terrace. The distribution of the rooms is very well arranged, the living room and the room in front give on a beautiful terrace with a view on the hill and its pines.

As with any apartment in a block, we had a bit of noise from other residents but nothing excessive and as advertised, the very solid doors do provide excellent sound insulation from the road outside. We didn't find the road especially noisy and enjoyed sitting on the balcony which is not overlooked by anyone and gazing out at the trees. If you are looking for an apartment with character and charm in a wonderful location and with hosts that care about your wellbeing, this place is hard to beat."

The apartment is all exterior located in a very quiet area, with good views. Includes: tennis court, community pool, community gardens, and parking space.
It has a terrace of 15 square meters of which has a table with 4 chairs in which you can have lunch or dinner perfectly.
It also has a wicker table with two armchairs that is perfect for reading or for children to eat. FULLY PAINTED FLAT

- "We had a lovely stay at Gisela's apartment. It was spacious, clean and well equipped (although a fan for each bedroom would have been appreciated on the very warm evenings!) The swimming pool is fantastic with a large shallow area - our two young children loved it. The terrace gets the evening sun. The check-in process was straightforward and Gisela was very flexible. We did have a had a problem with the hot water and the geyser needed replacing however Gisela arranged for a plumber to come out and fix it the next day. The area is lovely and not too far from the beach (although it took a little longer to get up the hill with two young children in tow!) One thing to note is that we were unable to use the parking space as it was too small for our car (Renault Megane estate). We could car into the space but it was very tight and we couldn't open the door to get out of the car. And unless the space opposite was empty, we were unable to move the car out of the space. So we ended up parking in the public car park below the apartment, or on the street. This was only really problem at weekends when Tamariu gets very busy. Overall a lovely, spacious apartment. "

This lovely cosy apartment is located only 75 meters from the beach, in a residential street where only neighbours go. The apartment is on a ground floor, facing south.

The bedroom is comfortable and very bright as it has a large window facing to the village. The dining room has a sofa bed suitable only for only 1 kid.

It has an air split for climatization and it’s airy and open. The kitchen is new and well equipped for a comfortable stay.
This apartment has a very large rooftop terrace shared with one other resident of the house (there are only two apartments), where you can dry your clothes in the sun, sunbathe, read a book surrounded by nature or play with your kids.

Tamariu:
Tamariu is an old beach town of Palafrugell, where until a few years ago fishing was the main activity. Over the years it has become a place of great tourist attraction, especially for its unique nature and coastline cliffs.
There are two supermarkets in Tamariu, ten restaurants and bars, a hairdresser, two bakeries, three hotels and a few shops where you can utensils and beachwear. There is also a diving center, kayak rental and boat rental agency. On Saturday night, during the summer season, there are usually different types of music on the Boulevard. Music styles that go from "Havaneres" to "Disco" music. Bars and restaurants don't stay open until late though. Tamariu is a place that is focussed on families. There is only one bar on La Riera that remains open until after 1 am.
Some great old traditions are still celebrated in town, such as celebrations like: Sta. Maria on August 15th, "sardinadas" or popular "garoinadas", Las Fiestas de Primavera de Palafrugell, La festa dels Indianos of Begur, Mercat Boig of Llafranc, etc ...

Transportation:
We recommend coming by car to Tamariu for your best convenience. In case you do, there is a very economical parking located in the pine forest when entering Tamariu.
A tourist tax of €1.10 per person per night is required, as well as a damage deposit (except for Airbnb bookings), not included in the rental price. These are payable through our Online Guest Portal.

If you wish to sleep separately, it is important to notify us when making the reservation; otherwise, you may incur additional costs during your stay.

The kitchen is located directly opposite the terrace, where you can enjoy outdoor meals with unobstructed views and a pleasant connection with nature. Here, both you and your children can enjoy many outdoor activities. You'll find groups of locals organizing volleyball games on the beach in the late afternoon until well into the evening.
You can rent kayaks independently or in guided groups, rent boats to spend the day exploring nearby coves, go diving at Stolly's Diving Center, go snorkeling independently... and on the day you tire of the sun, sand, and salt of the sea, you can opt for hiking along the Camí de Ronda coastal path, cycling through the fields and meadows of the area, go hiking, go karting, go horseback riding... and much more.
