Beautiful, spacious and quiet apartment with 110 square meters right on Lake Walen midst of Heidi country.
The apartment has a superb location in the Resort Walensee. It is located on the ground floor by the lakeside, with terrace and direct access to the lake and the beach. You have a wonderful view of the lake and the mountain range of the Churfirsten. They also reached on foot in a few minutes the cable car to the Flumserberg.
The apartment has two bedrooms, kitchen, guest toilet and bathroom with sauna and whirlpool bath. It is equipped with two televisions, wireless Internet access, radio / CD / DVD player, covered parking and a storage room in the cellar.
Surrounded by mountains and the serenity of the lake is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Here are versatile sports as well, such as all kinds of water sports, cycling, hiking, golf and skiing (the valley station of Flumserberg can be reached on foot in a few minutes). Children can play on the football field and table tennis tables.
Zurich can be reached by car or train in 45-60 minutes (the train station is within a few minutes). The spa and 18-hole golf course in Bad Ragaz can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.

Sauna is great for ski holidays in winter and probably also great in summer after swimming in the lake. The proximity to the lake and the ground floor might be very practical for stand up paddling in summer, as you can store your SUPs on the terrace and reach the lake in just a few steps. Also the kitchen is much better equipped than in the other apartments at the resort: it has cups, glasses, plates, pots, frying pans in quantities and in all possible sizes. You can feel that the owners really care about the comfort of their guests. The only minor remark is that there is no whirlpool bath in the bathroom, although it is mentioned in the description and is present on the photo. The kids were disappointed at first, but then they forgot about it, as the apartment is really great. I highly recommend this apartment to all kinds of travellers who want to enjoy the beatiful Heidiland at any season."

Our well equipped, self contained appartement is a great place to spend some time away in either Summer or Winter.
Our place is just a 2 minute drive to Oberterzen to catch the cable car up to Flumserberg for a great day of skiing, mountain biking or hiking.
We are also only a 3 minute drive to Unterterzen to spend a beautiful summers day at the Walensee.

Two bedrooms, one with bunk bed and one with double bed, for a total of 6 persons, are at your disposal. The spacious living room with open fireplace invites you to relax after an eventful day, including flat screen TV and W-Lan Internet. From the balcony you have a breathtaking view of the Churfirsten. The holiday flat is a three-minute walk from the picturesque village centre of Appenzell. All important localities can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The property is a twenty-year-old flat in an apartment block. The spacious living room is the focal point of the bright flat, the reading corner invites you to relax, the modern kitchen and the two beautifully furnished bedrooms offer everything you need for a successful week's holiday. The flat has recently been partially renovated, so it looks like new and is normally used as the landlord's main residence. However, while it is rented out, you have the flat to yourself. The landlord's bedroom and bathroom are not available to you, but are not used during this time. These two rooms have not been included in the description of the holiday flat. The number of rooms and the area indicated therefore correspond to the part of the flat that you can actually use.Various hikes into the Alpstein or up one of the gentle hills surrounding the village can be started directly from the flat, or the village centre with its charming main street and many authentic little shops can be visited.The Appenzell holiday card, which is very popular with holiday guests and allows free use of public transport, as well as many other free offers in the surrounding area and various discounts, is available for stays of three nights or more.

The interior of our renovated holiday flat, which used to be a guesthouse, leaves nothing to be desired. It not only offers a fully equipped kitchen with spices, crockery and all the necessary kitchen utensils, but also bath towels and bed linen. The rooms are furnished with great attention to detail and have plenty of shelves and storage space. For your entertainment, there is a TV and various games for young and old in the living room, as well as Internet access with WLAN. A small balcony, from which you can enjoy the sunrise over the Pfänder, rounds off the whole thing.

The first-class 3-room apartment impresses with its spacious living room, furnished with comfortable sofas, armchairs, a fireplace for cozy evenings, a TV and a large dining table. Particularly noteworthy is the partly covered, sunny balcony, which is accessible from the living room and offers a breathtaking view of Lake Walensee and the surrounding mountains. A sofa in the living room can also be converted into a sofa bed (90 x 200 cm), whereby the room can be separated by a practical folding organ wall to create privacy. The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed (180x200 cm) and another TV, complemented by an adjoining bathroom, which is connected to the bedroom via a spacious changing room. The bathroom has a separate toilet, a shower, a bathtub and two washbasins. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed (160x200 cm), a large wardrobe and its own bathroom, which includes a toilet, a shower and a bathroom sink. There is also a separate toilet in the accommodation, which increases living comfort.
