Schaffhausen is a beautiful town in the north of Switzerland with a historic old town and a fantastic location on the Rhine. Despite the manageable size, there is a lot to discover and marvel at. For insider tips and insights as a local, I am always available and happy to advise. The apartment is a few minutes by car from the center and the city can also be reached on foot within 15 minutes.

The bookable room is a spacious (about 16m2), light-flooded room in a neat 3.5-room old apartment, where old and new elements have been charmingly combined. In the room you can enjoy a lot of space to make it really cozy and sunlight from noon all day until evening. The room is equipped with bed, bedside table, bedside lamp, ceiling lamp, sideboard, clothes rail & hangers. The apartment is the middle of altogether 3 parties in this half of the house.

The kindergarten of Ramsen, formerly called the nursery school, was founded in 1862 by the Reformed pastor Julius Müller. The first caregiver of the initially 40, then around 60 children was the nun Luise Meisser, who was provided with a room in the rectory. In 1868, under the chairmanship of the mayor Geyer, a "committee" was formed to raise money for the construction of a schoolhouse. Already
In 1869 the modest building, the "Kleinkinderschule" was inaugurated, and the "Gesellschaft der Kleinkinderschule" was formed. It was not until 1888 that it was financially possible to set up a small bedroom for the kindergarten teacher in the attic. When Sister Margaretha pointed out in 1904 that it was simply not possible for her to make a living with an annual salary of CHF 400, the parents were called upon to provide the sister with natural products such as potatoes, fruit, flour, eggs, etc. From 1929 onwards, the canton's contributions brought relief. In 1973, the municipal assembly decided to place the kindergarten operation under the school authority. In 1977, the "Kleinkinderschul-Gesellschaft" decided at its last general assembly to give away the building of the reformed parish and to dissolve the society.
1987 Purchase of the kindergarten building by the municipality for CHF 260,000.00
The second kindergarten class, which had been provisionally housed in the parish hall since 1983, was moved to the converted upper floor of the kindergarten in 1988.
In 1993/94, a new kindergarten was built at the Wisli schoolhouse and the building became privately owned.
