Sheets and covers were good quality. The kitchen was not really suitable for much beyond preparing simple meals, being pretty small and minimally equipped. The building’s interior was very nice, well appointed and the overall feel coming and going was pleasant and added to our holiday experience. If you’re a couple it’s great. Would work for two couples on the same schedule. For families with kids it would be tight. Comparing with our previous stays around Lake Como, the price is competitive but with so much tourist activity in the region we’ve found prices to be very range-bound. You want more, you pay more or make trade-offs. This unit traded size for location and a pleasant ambiance. Worked well for us. By the way, we wound up parking overnight in the train station, about a three minute walk from the apartment. Worked for us. Cost was 14 CHF. "

- "We stayed there for 12 days in August. There is no air conditioning and no means to decently ventilate and cool down the apartment at night. Temperatures in the living room never went below 30 degrees C and went up to 33/34 during the day (max outside temperatures ranged between 31 and 35 during our stay which is not abnormal for the region). In the living room, there are no direct outside windows, there is only a glass door leading to a patio which is covered by 2 large roof windows. During the day this patio is a furnace which makes it impossible to stay in the living room. Sleeping rooms are not much better so we really slept very badly during our vacation. You can access the pool 70m away, and which is the only reason I put 2 stars. The pool maintenance technician seemed to rule over the place and made sure he could enjoy it with his wife and daughter and take his daily nap without being disturbed. Outside of summer months when temperatures are lower, the apartment should be fine. It is functional and spacious. "

Casa Soleil was built with the charm of the 60s in the middle of a vineyard sloping towards Lake Maggiore which is unfortunately no longer cultivated. In 2008, both apartments were ecologically renovated, electrobiologically tested and designed. This advertisement is for the upper apartment JAHRESZEITENLIEBE with the lower terrace and the lower garden. It is 45 m2 in size with one bedroom with shower and toilet, a kitchen with a dining place and a living area. A large covered, secluded terrace and your own garden invite you to relax.
