When we were ready to return the staff arranged a taxi for us that cost 11.25 euro."

Even had to ask for a kettle - which was very swiftly supplied. None of the draws/cupboards opened or closed properly - from the damp I imagine. The bedlinen was clean bright & white but minimal - no spare pillow/sheet. The mattress was lower than the bedframe so it was painful to get in /out - nice bare hard chipboard on the back of your knees! This apartment could be lovely, but needs a few more of the basics providing."

The only downside is the actual location is down a small side street and looks unprepossing -- the taxi driver from the cruise terminal didn't know the address so had to call, plus sometimes the street is blocked off for cars (much of Valletta is pedestrianized). Oh, plus I'd like to see a grab bar in the shower (I'm a senior with poor balance). "

The unit is less than 10 minutes from the ferry port. accessing the building was not difficult although as a short person I struggled to reach the keypad without having to step onto the first step at the doorway. The keypad on the door handle was really frustrating to use because you had to turn the handle just enough to trigger it to unlock. The host was very very responsive so I appreciated that level of communication. I used the scooters to get around the city. I loved the location of this unit because it was also very close to the bus station that took you to tour sites, such as Mdina or Silema or Blue Grotto. Thanks for an amazing stay!!!!!! There are over 100 often poorly-lit steps to climb. The flat is clean and basically equipped. The inventory mentions cooking equipment - there is one small pot, a frying pan, a kettle for the hob (not an electric kettle) and 3 knives. No chopping board, no cooking spoons or other utensils at all. While there is a plentiful supply of hot water, from a pipe which is falling off the wall outside, there is no tea towel. There is a good microwave and a toaster. The fridge is efficient but has no light. For table, there are 2 plates, 2 small bowls, 2 mugs, 2 knives, forks, desert and tea spoons and 1 pint mug! The bed is comfortable and the bedding fresh. Most of what little storage space there is, is taken up with spare pillows. Outside space is plentiful, and distant views good, but the bathroom is separate and across a sometimes slippery and rainy deck. Quite a journey on a rainy night. The outside light was not working and the bathroom light is minimal. Accomodation not for the weak or faint hearted!"

This boutique style penthouse is located in the authentic building, the facade and the elements bring the real feeling of Maltese heritage, whilst the inside has been recently refurbished with a modern/stylish look.

As you enter the apartment you find yourself in the small entrance area leading to the double bedroom with authentic Maltese tiles and the balcony and the ensuite bathroom. From the entrance area you also have the staircase leading to the second floor, where you can find a big kitchen finished with marble, sofa, TV and around the corner there is also another WC. There is also plenty of storage space, washer, air conditioning and heating, so the apartment may be heated throughout during the winter months.

The second floor is also complemented with the huge terrace from where you can enjoy sea views, Sliema views, as well as fantastic church and square views. The terrace is equipped with the barbecue and outside furniture.

Do not park on yellow bays as these are reserved. Please note that Valletta is the Capital City of Malta hence parking bays are not easy to find especially during office/shop hours. Just outside the main city entrance one can also find a parking area against payment - the MCP Car Park Floriana.

The property is central and minutes away from all Valletta attractions. Just a couple of minutes away one can find the Valletta Design Cluster, Auberge d'Aragon, Independence Square, St Paul's Anglican Cathedral, Carmelite Church and the Manoel Theatre.

Parking - You can park your car in our street (West Street / Triq il-Punent) or just round the corner on the ring road (St. Sebastian Street / Triq San Bastjan) just before entering into West Street.

The parking bays in Valletta are color coded in three colors, namely green (for residents, 24 hours a day), blue (for residents and visitors from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and for residents only from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.) and white (for all, residents and visitors alike, 24 hours a day). Do not park on yellow bays as these are reserved. Please note that Valletta is the Capital City of Malta hence parking bays are not easy to find especially during office/shop hours. Just outside the main city entrance one can also find a parking area against payment - the MCP Car Park Floriana.
