We also went to the Neptunes Cave, 645 steps, amazing, very good restaurants, we ate at a restaurant just 100 metres, very good price 13. euros. 2 choices, there is a grocery store also thats great. we definitely would go again. Pillows were quite flat and only 3 supplied for 2 people staying. Not good enough for those who like to sleep high. Shower door was not sitting in the rails correctly so it wouldn't close properly, we had to fix it, not to get the property flooded. Water in the shower was changing pressure and temperature constantly, quite annoying. Would we stay here again? I think so, just hoping those issued will get addressed."

Firstly, the location was great - very close to the city center and the bus stop, lots of nice restaurants in this area. Secondly, the host was helping us with every our request and suggested to us lots of nice places where we could go in order to explore more of Alghero. - "Gabriele is a rare gem ! Location is everything and using Gilbert Ferret or via Cavour you reach the harbour two ways or all the restaurants and along the bastioni, we were prepared for the steep stairs going up to the property from previous reviews, the roof top view is worth it !! Breakfast is more than enough made by the lovely Cristina it will keep you energised for day be it cold meat , boiled egg or a Cornetto pastry with delicious fruit and yogurt. The wonderful thing is the problem solving, Gabriele will tell the best things to do and resolves any issues immediately. Host is a real class act even he remembered my wife’s birthday and brought her a little gift or when we were leaving and couldn’t make breakfast he packed something for us and kids to take to the airport. I also liked that even though the town had a one day water shortage issue he had arranged a reserve supply so we could have nice showers after being at the beach. I would say the place has all the basics you need if you are out and about most days. It was a pleasure to stay there and they make you feel like part of the family! Grazie Mille !
