The kitchen can be used for preparing breakfast, but not for cooking. Aswell the microwave can be use to warm coffe, or non home prepared foods to eat at home. Cooking is no allowed.

During your stay
I am very fond of interacting with my guests, making friends with them or just being a good tour guide as much as I can. If my guests are not afraid of travelling, I can offer many ways of touring Spain starting with a mulberry eating tour, grapes and wine tasting tour in the best Rioja of Spain, visits to wine-production fields and last, but not the least, a trip to my own lavender field just an hour away from Bilbao. In the meantime, we could have discussed certain tricks of planting and producing lavender and other medicinal plants...p.s. I recommend a book by Maria Treben, a famous Austrian woman who used to cure people by means of plants).
I can also take my guests to the most awesome beaches of the Basque Coast-Cantabrico or just pick them up at the metro or bus stop to discover Bilbao, its people, its places, its food, wine and cultivation of plants. Our trip would start in Bilbao and extend to other parts of Northern Spain in the discovery of its beauties, its beautiful coast La Coruña, where the most ancient light house was built by Romans and is still functioning, then head to Santiago de Compostela pilgrim spot by doing the ´´Camino de Santiago´´ starting at Saint Jean Pied de Port (one hour away from Bilbao).

Other things to note
The apartment is located in walking distance from the famous Guggenheim museum and the Museum of Fine Arts, Bilbao, as well as the Central Park of Dona Casilda where you can have a feeling of a South-American rain forest trees, such as ficus, and other tropical plants.
Entrance to the fine arts museum is free on Wednesdays. I truly recommend visiting this museum.
Thanks to central location of home, you can easily get to 4 supermarkets, Eroski, Dia, Opencor, Carrefour, BM and the newly organic supermarket called Veritas.
If you want to experience shopping Bilbo-way, the biggest Zubiarte mall is next door at 4 min walking distance and the Gran via shopping street is a 5 minute's walk.
You can't visit Bilbao, without having to taste its delicious gastronomy at typically Spanish local bars and restaurants all around. It is not recommended to miss having a drink (mosto or red wine) at night and the tasty tapas of Basque cuisine.

From there you can take a walk to the interpretation center of Peñas Negras, you can also drive in about 20 minutes, to take a tour of the Triano mining mountains. The golf course is a 15-minute drive.
